Goetia Puzzle Dependency Chart
By Gerontius
If you are struggling with Goetia, this Puzzle Dependency Chart (PDC) shows how the puzzles depend from one another. Rather than giving the full answer, a PDC tells you what information or items you require to solve a puzzle, to point you in the right direction or to let you know if you are at a dead end.

The PDC covers only the manor section of Goetia, where the game starts and ends. The 4 other areas are not mapped out in full, only the results of completing those areas (by banishing demons and gaining powers) on the mansion.

Puzzle Dependency Chart
Puzzle Dependency Charts (PDCs) offer a fascinating insight into the design and structure of puzzle adventure games. The can be used for study purposes and as a walkthrough.

If you want to learn more about PDCs, you can read my blog post here[dreamsofgerontius.com]. Short version: they were conceived by Ron Gilbert while designing Monkey Island, and I use LucasArts' The Dig as an example.
