I noticed a lot of people were having issues with getting the game to work because of a certain point in the tutorial stage. Fret not, this is an issue that's been going on for years and Namco seems to still not have it patched to this day. Here's how to circumvent that.

How to skip the tutorial

1) On your computer, you will need to go to the "Roaming" or "temp" folder. For Windows, you just type "%appdata%" into the search bar and it'll take you there.

2) Look for a folder called "Pac-man CE2". Open it. There should be one folder with a bunch of numbers. Go ahead and open it. You should see two more folders: "AutoSave" and "ReplaySave".

3) Download save file here:
/https://www.mediafire.com/file/xdstp48a9xvv46e/SaveData.dat/file
It's a save file I created that completes the basic tutorial stage and unlocks the first main mode of the game. (make sure to remove the / in front of the URL, Steam doesn't like external links)

4) Put this SaveData file in the "AutoSave" folder. You may have a file already here. This is the file that you created when you started the tutorial. You can go ahead and override this, it's a clean save.

5) Load up the game. You should see a screen where the first game mode is unlocked and you can play it freely from there.

6) Enjoy!
