SilentPatch: Frame Pace and Timing Fix
By Jay And Problems
A mod made by Silent that fixes the buggy frame limitter that causes the game to constantly swing between 59-60fps, or 57-59fps, etc, causing tons of latency and frame pacing issues.

The mod also lets you uncap the framerate completely, but since the game logic breaks if you go above 60fps, this is only recommended if you're going to use V-sync or some other tool to lock the framerate at 60fps.

As a side benefit, this mod also remaps Fullscreen/Windowed to ALT+ENTER, instead of the default ESC.

The modder Silent created this mod, and they have a whole write-up on their blog that explains what exactly the issue was and how they went about fixing it. You can find it here: https://cookieplmonster.github.io/2020/05/16/silentpatch-wonderful-101/

The mod is available at the below link. Instructions are also on the page, but it's basically just unzip the contents to the game directory. Optional Framerate Unlock can be enabled from the included INI file.

There is a chance this works for Bayonetta PC port too. At least, when I tested it for 10 minutes using the Steam Overlay FPS counter, it stops flipping from 59 to 60 fps every few seconds and reports a constant 60 fps. When I have time I'll find a better frame counter utility to verify (and also try to play for at least an hour) that it fixes the frame pacing issues in Bayonetta...
