The Crash: So, it's officially Major day & you can't wait to get cracking on getting stickers! 2019 Berlin has just released the stickers & you absolutely want to get everything in sight! This however isn't exactly the time to buy. Right now actually is the great time to place in Buy Orders!
"Huh? But... I want them!" I know exactly what you mean. However, The beginning & throughout the event is exactly the worst time to buy stickers unless you get super lucky with a Buy Order. This being the case for some very lucky investors, It's best you sell that sticker at a time in which it becomes super desirable or if the games begin to wind down towards the finals.

This being called a "Snatch-N-Flip" it's obvious not everyone means to sell say a Coldzera Foil for $.35 USD when it's a massive $1.20. This said however, if you pounce on one for that price, guess what you can do? If you can flip it & get a lot of money back, you just scored a big profit for other stickers!

This prime-time sticker rise is mainly based on a few factors.

Firstly, Players & teams that do well in the Major. If a team is popping off as much as Astralis does normally in the Majors the last few seasons, that team sticker & more than likely their dominate players will rise to a massive amount of money. This however isn't always the case as some Paper stickers and Foil stickers could be under $.20 & $1. As some teams tank though or get knocked out, it can be hard on their stickers as well & can shoot down in price. This however isn't the crash either but more along the lines of a dip.

Mid Season Crashes are an actual thing for Team stickers as the weekend after a handful of teams are eliminated, often or not their teams won't be as desirable in the form of their Paper stickers. This I've personally capitalized on but it's best if you hold off until it really plummets. Only if it goes for a remarkable Under $.27 or even to $.18 should you try to pull the trigger on a few of them.

The second reason a few of the stickers are expensive because of their names. Dev1ce, Skadoodle, Shroud, Kenny S, S1mple, and a few more are elite tier names that fetch a lot of money! Smaller names like Aizy, Apex, Issaa, DeadFox, & more don't normally fetch an outrageous amount. Though trust me, if you see a lot of their prices rising, it's often or not they spiked for a great game & will fall again during the crash.

The final reason these stickers are so much money? Capsules are insanely expensive! Often costing the user over $1 for each of them, The Major is a massive opportunity to grab a Gold Sticker when opening said expensive capsules of a pro player that is highly desirable. Take for example Kenny Schrub. Known by all as Kenny S, his Berlin Gold Sticker during the Major was a massive $292.72! Who would pay that!? Even the expensive Team Holo/Foil sticker Capsules could lead to a massive profit! But with massive rewards comes massive risks. Not to be trifled with, these capsules often or not don't favor a brilliant outcome & should be steered clear from until the end of the Major. Unless you like your luck & chances, it could be an easy way to flush your money down the shoot.

*The Sale* "FINALLY!!! THE SALE IS HERE!" After the main competitions, often or not some investors get paranoid about such a sale coming; "It's not coming!!! INVEST NOW!!!" Best if you don't listen to them. Being an investor myself since ATL 2017, I've personally been investing in the last 6 seasons of Majors & every single one of them has had a crash, though none like Berlin if I'm honest. Often times, it's after the Semi Finals or the very day after the tournament in which you wake up and your Steam account is at half its normal balance & dropping fast. Well, if you put in buy order that is. This means the time to buy has arrived! Normally only 2-6 days during this sticker crash does EVERYTHING fall off a cliff in terms of price! Yeah, remember that Coldzera foil I mentioned as an example? Take that crazy $1.20 and drop it all the way down to $.40 for a few days. Not only that, Capsules, Souvenir Packages, Team Stickers, Holos, Foils, EVERYTHING goes down in price & ready to be invested in! You can go around cancelling orders so you can pay even less & maximize your storage boxes, but honestly this is the time where everyone is flocking to get the best deals. So kick your feet up & enjoy some investing help. We're going through the rest of what you can invest in throughout this massive Staple of CS:GO Tradition.

Capsules: Since 2017 Krakow, the Major's have abandoned the old capsule way of each team having a pack of each player (a 1/5 Chance) & getting your favorite/most wanted sticker. Now in days, They have every team belonging in the Minor Teams, Returning Challengers, & Legends Capsules. With this also being the most popular option in terms of investing in ANYTHING related to Majors, heck even Xonics & I have gotten in on this form of investing! Still, it can be a bit confusing on which to get & how many of them to acquire. So how should you invest in each of them? Allow us to shed some light on each of them!

Minor Capsules: With "Lower Tier" teams being a part of this capsule, there are certainly a few dark horse teams that many have as their favorites. To a lot of CS:GO Investors, many don't find that many players that are highly elite or have a big name like Kenny S in these capsules. This affecting prices later on when they improve in price, Minors are often considered overlooked and passed over for Returning Challengers & Legend Capsules. With over 195,267 sold at $.27 from Sept. 8th through Sept. 24th, there were more than plenty of reasons to invest in a high number of these capsules. After all, Paper, Foil, & Gold stickers all could be valued at more than the $.27 if you're risky enough to open one. After all, the longer you hold onto these capsules, the more likely it'll fetch for you in terms of price. Not just this, but one or even two of the teams in Minors don't often make it back to the Major and could become a rarity, something that many investors don't think of. So while you choose carefully on which to buy in bulk, this underrated Capsule will be climbing after a while just as the other two Capsules will as well. Just... Maybe not as quickly...

Returning Challengers Capsules: Often picked for investors, The Returning Challengers normally has fierce competition within this Capsule. Even with some high tier teams, normally 6 teams are harbored in this capsule. Berlin was a special occasion however leaving to only 5. This meaning a rare chance to acquire some coveted names in gold, the teams as followed capitalized on this Capsule and gave it a decently hefty price as of 5/21/2020:

With Kenny S, Zwyoo, Shox, & Jame being big names for the Berlin Major, all those stickers had more of a chance to strike it rich if you decided to be risky enough to open this capsule. This said, it's far better to save them up for prices to rise as the odds are much better in your favor to make money this way rather than to open these Capsules. And at $.64 USD each at this moment, they aren't exactly slacking in price. Moving up in price after half a year +, you can make a safe return of $.57 for each of them if you decide to sell them. This being double what you paid for as well as a Kenny S Gold calling so many to open this capsule, if you have the patience, this capsule could go for plenty more as more & more sell on the Market.

Legends Capsules: Being for the Elite of the Elite, players like S1mple, Device, Fallen, ect. can be found in this capsule as they truly are some of the best players & teams in the world. So without question, this is one of the most popular items to acquire in terms of Capsules in the Majors. With so many Legendary teams as well as a Dark Horse or two, it's simply put this way; Winners win the hearts of everyone. This quote being astonishingly true with these Capsules over the Season, Berlin Legends didn't disappoint either. Even for a sticker some claim as something they weren't exactly expecting, it's held a steep price as of now & it's easy to see why! With these Legendary teams making a prestigious 8 spots, the Legends were of the Following:

So with this Capsule being the highest in terms of price out of the entire Major Capsule Trio, many flock for this one in particular as it's easily one of the most rewarding Capsules you can open. Grabbing a S1mple Foil or a Zywoo Foil/Gold will definitely get you that profit you desire! But again, this is a massive risk, you could lose out on a future star worth saving. After all, with it being $.73 USD, the $.64 pure return is so satisfying to get back in terms of Steam Funds. Having a ton of these and itching to sell them now, if you had 20 or so you can part ways with and just can't wait any longer, $12.80 would be your return after spending just $5.40 on the same 20 Capsules. This being a massive 51.82% increase, it's also nearly 9% more value than the other Capsules for the exact same price! Investing in this is a no-brainer for experienced investors in Majors & it's kind of easy to see why. Iconic Teams, Iconic Players, More Value for the same price, really... This Capsule has it all. Though just because something shows more potential doesn't mean you should fit all your eggs in one basket. It's always best to spread around your investments, especially into Capsules! You never know which one will strike the biggest so please keep that in mind when deciding to invest.

That said, this trio of Capsules is arguably the hierarchy of Investing in Majors so keep that in mind as we keep these numbers in handy for the other investment opportunities and where they stack against these pinnacle of titans for Major investing.

This being INCREDIBLY Risky to open, if you want these capsules just to invest in, DO NOT BUY THEM DURING THE MAJOR. Player Autograph Paper Stickers: Player Autograph Paper Stickers: Right now, it's finally reached past $.10! With plenty of Buy Orders hitting $.09, it's officially time to proclaim Berlin has reached a coveted Double-Digit milestone. To many that don't care about a few cents being wasted, quite a bit of us that invested in paper stickers couldn't help but to get a few of them! Or... More than a "Few" of them. With this more than unusual massive Sticker Sale, it went all the way down to $.03! THREE CENTS! That's legit the lowest you can buy ANYTHING For on the CS:GO Market! And if you invested in all those $.03 stickers, I give you massive Kudos! Other than the fact you have to sell legit hundreds to make big dents & profit, you receive $.08-$.10 back for each sticker depending on the name of the pro you managed to score for cheap. Heck, I was shocked to see Shox at only $.04 at one time! And he's a darn good decent name in the CS:GO Community! But going back to selling them if you scored a ton of Paper Stickers, you'd have to sell 250 Paper stickers at $.08 to get $20 Back! That uh... That's a lot...

This being said, Paper stickers, while not exactly the best investment to make, is still worth some of your spare pennies if you need something to fill in the gaps. Or if you have a skin you like to decorate & love the design as well as the pro player, by all means go for it! Going back to investing though, I must be inclined to state another anomaly in this Major in terms of Paper Stickers. While it was epic to score some favorite players for so cheap, this doesn't always happen. Take 2019 Katowice (The Major before Berlin) and take a look at the prices. In their peak buy now prices, very limited timing for $.04 & $.05 Paper stickers sold. This is the main reason why I personally place Buy Orders around $.05-$.06 per sticker I love/Invest in. Though I might be an odd one, this is my personal take & obviously I don't go for many outside this range during the Major.
Overall, Paper stickers may not be the big juggernaut in terms of pricing as well as receiving in the near future, especially with this Berlin Sticker, but if you're looking for dirt cheap low risk, this couldn't be a better scenario. After all, it feels might awesome to buy a sticker for $.03-$.05 and have it be $.15-$.20 now in days.

Player Autograph Foil Stickers: What in the world... Did we see here... With Foils being altered differently, I am proud to say it's a change I'm actually all good with! Not shiny by 2017 ATL, 2016 Cologne, or 2019 Katowice means sure but it's lighter graffiti styling's as well as being seen way more easier, these foils had to have hit record lows...
It was INSANE how low some of these Foils were as some hit $.05!! FIVE... FREAKING... CENTS!!! Are you serious!? This being said, in all honesty, no one could have called this even with the unorthodox sticker designs. Still, just picture yourself buying a ton of $.05-$.09 Foils to have them jump 3X or even 4X at this point! That's a lot of profit for not a lot of money! So what if you lose that $.02 in Taxes, you're making $.13 easily out of foils if you sell them as of 5/21/2020! And if you have a ton of them, get ready for that account funds to make a big jump! So even with Foils being very, no... INSANELY odd this time around, it's important to know it won't always be this way. So keep your Buy orders in the low teens or even lower than that if you have a good hunch on it. Just be careful you don't overpay During the Major. Make sure the crash happens & capitalize on them if you have a few dollars or so left over & you don't feel like Paper Stickers are the way to go. After all, what better way to keep stickers you love, invested in, or traded for than a stacked inventory ready to keep for months on in raking in those funds? They really are epic stickers after all, some that can go for over $5 each. You know, if you strike it lucky enough.

With the current map rotation switching it up once again, 2019 Berlin showed some very interesting statistics in terms of the peak moment to buy Souvenir Packages. With this being said, many wonder if it is at all worth it to buy such Souvenir packages other than to chance your money opening it in hopes of a seriously rare item, or use your time keeping it & hording some profits that seemingly 'Won't come'. Unfortunately for this rumored spread of word, the numbers have actually contradicted this theory!

As of 5/21/2020, the numbers came in at the current Numbers:

Train: $4.38 currently, was at peak $1.85-$2.19. With $.57 of taxes, Train would sell for $3.81 currently. For it being arguably the "Least Desirable" map Package, it's doubled in price this soon! Still, with 6.8 Capsules to have been bought at a Price of said $1.85 peak, Those 6 Capsules currently at $.64 each would sell for $3.42 After Taxes. Said capsules selling at $.64 each, it would equal $.57 for each one after Taxes. This is a current 11.3% difference, Shockingly enough, Train could be worth it!

Dust II: $4.51 Currently, was at Peak $1.71-$1.81. Dust II never being truly "popular" with Souvenir Experts, the $.58 Taxes are quite pleasant as this map would Sell now for $3.93 net Profit. With you needing 6 1/3 capsules for $1.71 during the crash, those rounded down 6 Capsules would fetch $3.42 After Taxes. This is accounting the $.64 Capsules would be $.57 net revenue after Taxes each. This 13% difference in favor of Dust II however claims more profit at this point.

Vertigo: $5.32 Currently, was at Peak $2.34-$2.48. At $5.32, Vertigo is a lesser tier map I wouldn't have predicted to be so low in price at this point. Then again, I didn't know if it would stick around in the current map pool this long. Still, Selling now would for $4.63, the $.69 taxes is still nearly double that of its lowest Peak buy. With Returning Challengers and Minor Capsules equaling 8 2/3 Capsules for that $2.34 Peak. you would those same 8 Capsules would sell for $4.56 USD After Taxes. Each $.64 current capsule selling for $.57 in net profit, it's so close actually as just 1.6% separates them.

Mirage: $6.05 Currently, was at Peak $2.21-$2.50. With the middle ground going to Mirage, it currently would be sold for $5.27, which Steam takes 78 cents in Taxes. With Capsules, you would need 8.14 Capsules for $2.21 to even it out. Rounding it down to 8 Capsules, they would sell for $4.56 USD After Taxes. Each capsule would be at $.57 when calculating each net revenue. This is a 13.5% differential in favor of Mirage Packages.

Nuke: $6.58 Currently, was at Peak $2.25. Taxing taking out $.85, it would Sell now for $5.73 after Taxes. With 8 Capsules being bought for under this $2.25 peak, the same 8 Capsules would sell for $4.56 USD After Taxes. For $.64 each for Minors and Challengers Capsules, each would sell for 57 cents each after Taxes. This is a massive 31% differential in favor of Nuke!

Overpass: $6.58 Currently, was at Peak $2.18-$2.44. With taxes taking away $.85, Overpass is the 2nd highest Selling package for $5.73. With the best prices bought for $2.18 USD, 8 Capsules would have been bought for just under the peak. This peak however being so slim, I went with 8 Capsules being bought for just under $2.44. These 8 Capsules would sell for $4.56 USD After Taxes currently. With each $.64 capsule, it would sell for $.57 after all Taxes. Again, this is a whopping 31% differential in favor of Overpass!

Inferno: $7.96 Currently, was at Peak $2.55-$2.80. If this was to be sold currently today, it would fetch you $6.93. This being a difference of $.97 USD, it's the most expensive Package in terms of net revenue in all of the Maps for the 2019 Berlin Major. This would mean 9 Capsules would have been bought at just under the $2.55 career low for $2.43. At this pace for Returning Challengers, these 9 would sell for $5.13 USD. That's a MASSIVE Difference! With each Capsule being $.57 selling after taxes, this is an outrageous 26% profit difference.

With Berlin adding from the 2019 Katowice Viewer Pass, it added something never before seen. With a regular pass and a Triple token Pass, People set out to redeem their Viewer Pass success. This however Never happened. But dealing with Price later, Here's how it worked out:

With the Standard Berlin Viewer Pass, Spending the $10+ Price, you had to chance which teams in a Pick'em format would advance to the next stage. This included which team would go 3-0 and which team would go 0-3. With 7 teams in the middle you choose to advance no matter what the record, it was really a difficult judgement call for you. YOU had to pick which teams advance. In this format, you needed to get 5 Correct out of the 9 Minimum. If you didn't, you didn't get points. With other objectives available though, there wasn't much to do except follow the instructions and go from there. And being a whopping $10+, you Really were taking a lot out of your stickers fund for some Packages.

This is where the brand new Triple Token Viewer Pass came into play. With many claiming it as ruining the Souvenir Package market outright, it wasn't popular at first. The Overflow of Souvenir Packages flowing in off the bat, it was a smorgasbord of Market filled Packages from Nuke all the way to the new Formatted Vertigo. This said though, after much time from the conclusion of the Major, The price of the Berlin Viewer Pass with 3 tokens is shockingly high!

So without much ado, Here are our current Market Numbers from the Viewer Passes.

Current price of $5.45, its Buy Order is a modest $4.97. This buy Order being a 9.12% Difference, it's not half bad in terms of price as of now. Being an All Time low of $2.99 in which 10 sold on May 6th, 2020, things now start to fall apart for this Signature item. Right when the crash happened, this former $10+ Pass sailed down to as little as $3.16 USD on Oct. 29th, 2019. With 156 Sold during that time, it's incredible to think this pass has only risen $2.29 since that time. The market being shakily increasing slowly & unsurely, you're in some serious capsule money here. So take for example you'd rather invest in Capsules instead of the Pass for now. How well could you do compared to this Pass? With being able to spend 11 Capsules at a price of $.27, Even if those capsules were $.64 and you could only gain $.57 of pure revenue, You'd Gain $6.27 out of them at this point! That's AFTER TAXES TOO! So with this pass easily bested by Capsules, things don't look so good for this Major Signature...

The Tokens Pass starting at just over $20+ each, it was a HEFTY Spender... Holy crow... $20 taking out of your pocket, you'd best hope it was worth it! And getting those packages which were valued at just $2-$3.20 each, You might as well never have bothered using it & just bought the packages outright.

HOWEVER! With this said, what about an investment standpoint? If never used and strictly only held onto, this is where things can get a bit better. When the Crash happened, the price sunk all the way down to just under $10 USD if you were fortunate. That's Still a LOT. Happily to say however, this Triple Token Pass has clearly sailed over $30 at this current point! Its career High on 5/22/2020 selling for $31.39, That's easily doubling your money if you bought it at Just the right time! This being said, We have to compare this to the Capsules you may have bought and check to see if that stacks up well against it.

For this scenario, let's put it at you getting one for just at that $10 price tag. Compare this to the Capsules you could have gotten for $.27, you would have gotten 37 capsules. At this point with them $.64 on market but $.57 after Taxes, you would be looking at a net Revenue of $19.98! Take into account you spend that $10 to get them and you're gaining $9.98 out of the Capsules. The pass however, you've gained $20! Pouring in that $10 in the first place, you're left with $20 in the bank! You doubled the Capsules in the same amount of time!!!!

"I'm ONLY Buying the Pass with Tokens now then!!"

WHOA WHOA WHOA! Hold your horses pal! Don't even think about it Skippy!!! Sure, you're gaining mad profit but let's not forget how incredibly RISKY this was! This was the very first time this pass came into CS:GO & it was a Massive chance you'd either score or strike out! And being over $10 to get one even during the crash, I'm sorry, I'm nowhere near gutsy enough to chance this incredible risk. So, While you've gained a lot of profit, this has to go down as one of the riskiest chances in the Major in terms of Investing.

So take a chance if you want, I'm hitting the Foils, Packages, & Team Stickers. Not to mention THIRTY-SEVEN Capsules! :)

With this being accurate as of 5/28/2020, Let's get into the overall Final thoughts of the 2019 Berlin Major.
Capsules:

With the Minor Capsules now Officially at $.78 USD, it's about to Double your initial investment! With Taxes, you're still looking for some hefty profits! Selling for $.69 each, you're gaining $.42 of Net Pure revenue out of EACH of your Capsules. And considering if you Bought only 10, you're gaining $4.20 you never... Had...

OKAY! BEFORE WE GO FURTHER, I DIDN'T DO THAT ON PURPOSE!

Now, Onto the other Capsules.

With the Returning Challengers Officially $.83, you can sell them after taxes for $.73. Each being $.46 each in pure net Revenue, This is looking very good if you've gathered a lot of them & kept them this entire time.

The Legends Capsules taking the cake, each are a massive $.87 with selling them after taxes gaining you $.77 each. After taking into account the initial $.27, you've gained Nearly Double your investment! Having loads of these in your inventory, if you've gained 20 of them, you've totaled nearly $10 of pure profit!

With everyone claiming Capsules are the way to go, it's all too easy why they think this way!

Packages:

Honestly, though it's very spendy compared to Capsules, I couldn't recommend these enough! Overpass, Nuke & Inferno being the big money makers, They are some of the more popular packages. To me, Overpass will always be something I want to invest in. Still, each having it's own risk, I see them climbing more and more as time goes by. If you have to spend big bucks and are patient enough, I couldn't recommend these enough!

Team Stickers:
I cannot in good conscience just leave it at what I did and MUST address this. Holos for this Major weren't exactly what we were looking for.. But just like all stickers, It heavily depends on the look of the Majors. So ask around if it's a great looking sticker & weigh in Heavily YOUR Choice. Some like Kato 2019 & ATL 2017 will look epic, while some will look like Berlin. Team Paper stickers however, I can't recommend the top teams Enough!

These are the teams you REALLY Have to look after and if you score them for very cheap, you'll only need to wait it out. Some can go further than $1 faster than the capsules so look out for them. Being cheap at $.25-$.27, look in the CS:GO Homepage during the Crash & check out which of those you'd want to invest most. To me, NAVI & Faze are true great choices.

Team Foils are Very risky. With some making it to $20 & others not quite reaching peak prices for most, The big names again are what I'd recommend. Faze, NAVI, G2, Tyloo, & Cloud 9 being best options, Some will be super pricey at nearly $4. It's all up to you if you want to spend that much but don't kick yourself if they shoot up to $10+ after 8-12 months as it's happened before.

Player AutoGraphs:
It's too easy to say Go for the Foils, but at Nearly $.12 for each of them or even lower, The Potential is easily there. Some able to climb like Crazy, Rain, Niko, Elige, & more can climb to $.40's+ & leave you with a wealth of great profits. Some will need to take extra time to get you there however, so please be patient with them.

Golds are especially difficult to predict. With steep prices making you almost go for Capsules instead, some however can really bring in the bang for your buck later down the road. With you sacrificing $5 or so out of your wallet, waiting & sitting needs to be your practice with these special stickers. Even as the Golds in Berlin weren't exactly what we had in mind, some have already made massive money. If you can chance it, you may come out on top.

Paper Stickers aren't exactly the best investments to make if you're a die-hard investor that is all about money. But if you're like me & enjoy the Major, had a ton of fun watching, & want to hold onto the memories, Paper stickers are the cheapest and sometimes the best stickers you can get! After all, for $.06 or even less for most of them after the Crash, What's the harm putting for or five on a few skins and applying them to make you feel like a pro player. After all, to some, the memories of your First Major, your sixth, or any numbered Major is more important than making the most money you can.

Big Name Stickers:
Golds, Foils, Papers, All of them are heavy opportunities and one that shouldn't be left behind. Kenny S Foils, S1mple Foils, Niko & Ropz Papers, It doesn't Matter. You can't let a grand opportunity go for something as high as a $2.50 Foil of Kenny S. More than likely it'll double in price sometime in 8-12 months or even more. Golds will be so spendy, but get it for the right price & you didn't just pay off this Major, but maybe the next Three of them.

Passes:

While opportunity can rise in the X3 Token Pass, it's far too risky for most peoples blood. It's far better to get the packages for $2.50 or so each than to risk $20 or so. This said, during the Crash, if you're crazy enough to take a chance, maybe... Just maybe you can score in the long run. Risk does sometimes equal rewards after all.

The Crash & Openings:

While I can say it's not the best idea to open Souvenir Packages & Capsules, more than likely you won't end up with what you're looking for. So for this reason, I would like to say; "JUST BE PATIENT!" If you buy something in the Major, that's the best advice. Don't Panic, Don't fret, & Don't Open. You'll make some money most likely & while others can pressure you to open what you got, it's best if you ignore the call of a slim chance Gold and take your $1 profit after a good 8-12 months from your Capsules. For Packages, Maybe doubling your money.

The Crash isn't something that's always timed as we think it will be. It's a Major! Things happen! No one knows when the Crash will happen! No one will know when the Stickers will be available to buy before the Major happens! We just don't know! Panicking over this however isn't something you should do at all!

Since being part of the CS:GO Community & being a part of the 2017 ATL Tournament, EVERY SINGLE MAJOR Since then I've been a part of the crash! ONE ALWAYS COMES! So do not freak out if one is later than you think, It'll happen! Well, I'm 99% Sure of that... After all, it's a Major! Who knows what'll HAPPEN!?
