This video shows where the map border can be breached to explore the vast area outside the intended chapter 7 map.

Always eager to explore every nook and cranny in the games I play and looking for unusual spots to reach, I stumbled on a gap that lets one reach the final area of the chapter via a shorter route, also allowing one to round the city on the backside. One can even travel to where the river abruptly ends beyond the bottom waterfall.

Jumping into the void
If you have not yet unlocked the achievement for staying airborne for more than eight seconds using jump-gates or geysers - "Fox? Or Flying Squirrel?" - this offers another way to get the achievement without actually using jump-gates or geysers. Watch the video to see where you can jump into the void (two such places are shown), endlessly falling and falling and falling ...

There is a reliable way to escape Chapter 5 Part 7 which can be used to skip several chapters.

i got the Fox? Or Flying Squirrel? achievement in chapter 1 during my first playthrough. i just jumped on the glaciers to the right of the entrance to the cave, it has no floor collision so you just slide... it acts as if you're falling endlessly.

Some players, however, struggle to get the achievement using geysers or jump-gates, so this is a solution for them.
