Introduction
This guide is now complete!

This guide is dedicated to every steam user who apparently thinks a YouTube video is an acceptable substitute for a text guide.

Also, in case you're confused: black lives matter.
Contributors
The FF4 section was getting too long for Steam. Rather than inserting an awkward break in the section, I'm offloading credits to this section.

  • Thank you to MadTinkerer for information on Enigma Cartons.
  • Thank you to JiraiGumo386 for information on Dress For Success.
  • Thank you to Vuzyss for information on Dress For Success.
  • Thank you to ARTHUR THUCKSAKE for finding and solving Grey Hat.
  • Thank you to Scizzoid for finding Total Boulder Therapy, Total Boulder Destruction, and Same Hat, Different Day
  • Thank you to Doc for a potential fix for a Grey Hat bug.
  • Thank you to Discussions_Acc for finding Are You My HDMI Cable?, The Joy Of Obedience, Sneak Preview, Molyneux's Fate, The Smell Of Clicking Planes, A Bade Case of Tennis Eye, Lacrimosa XL, as well as information on Dress For Success. This guide wouldn't be half the guide it is without you.
Frog Fractions Classic
This section has achievements that can only be found in the original game. You do not need the DLC for these. You don't even need to get past the first chapter.

Al-Uqlidisi's Legacy
"Upgrade to scientific notation"
Gained when you get the Cybernetic Brain upgrade. The game starts you out with a random amount of Zorkmids, which should be enough to allow you to get the upgrade whenever you want it.

Mr. Fruitbags
"Have 100 fruit in the bank"
Hard to miss. After you get the Turtle upgrade, dive underwater and reach the underwater pile of fruit. I imagine this will also unlock if you do it "the slow way."

Bingo!
"Get five upgrades in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally"
This can only be obtained with five upgrades in a row horizontally, which naturally is the easiest with the first row of upgrades. Get Lock-On Targeting, Static Cling Tongue, Durians, Turtle, and then in the second row grab Uninstall Lock-On Targeting. After you get that upgrade, a fifth upgrade will appear in the top row, which will be another Lock-On Targeting. Get that upgrade to get the achievement.

Acute Eating
"Eat 20 bugs in a single lick"
Easy enough to get when you have the Static Cling Tongue upgrade.

The Butter Trap
"Get a hankerin' for some waffles"
Get the Lock-On Targeting and Uninstall Lock-On Targeting upgrades five times. This achievement unlocks after uninstalling the upgrade for the fifth time.

Go Touch Your Letters
"Unlock every letter in the alphabet"
Typing waves occur every 5 waves. On the sixth typing wave (so, wave 30) you'll now be seeing words using all the letters in the alphabet. The achievement will unlock after this point.

Shestov, Jr.
"Finish a typing wave without a single typo."
Typing waves occur every 5 waves. A word is considered typo'ed even if you correct it with a backspace, so take it slow and don't make mistakes. I'm not sure if pressing 'enter' counts as a typo, but it's not necessary.

80% Is Enough
"Finish a wave with a nearly full indignity meter"
Kill all but one bug in a wave, and let that bug eat enough fruit to give you four red squares in your indignity meter, then kill it.

Enigma Carton
"Find out what's in those gift boxes"
Rarely (about one every few waves) a present will drop when you lick a bug. It seems to happen more often for bugs that are closer to the water but further away from you. When the present drops into the water, if you have the Turtle and/or Dragon upgrade, promptly dive under the water. If you dove quickly enough, you will see the present continue to sink. Click directly on it to open it.

Don't Void The Warranty
"Get to wave 10 without any upgrades"
As the description says. The achievement will pop at the start of the second typing wave.
Frog Fractions With Hat (a.k.a. Hop's Iconic Cap DLC (a.k.a. Frog Fractions 4))
Same Hat, Different Day
"Play through the original story wearing a hat"
When you select "Play Wearing a Hat!" on the main screen, a save slot selection will appear, as well as a small pi symbol in the lower left. Click on the pi symbol to play through the entirety of Frog Fractions Classic wearing the hat and with fake Draggy, for the achievement.

It's Not a Snake, Dad!
"Eat 20 apples on your Bugberry"
At any point after the boss calls you into their office in the introduction, click on the phone (your 'Bugberry') in the upper right, or simply press the escape key. Click on the phone's home button to go to minigame which is a variant of Snake. Eat the apples to get longer, and watch out for the bullet-hell-style exploding hearts. Heart explosions don't loop around the edges of the screen, but your 'snake' (or legless lizard, as the case may be) does. Also, the snake body blocks portions of the explosions - you can wrap around explosions to make them harmless. Eat twenty fruits in one game to get the achievement.

Taking Out The Trash
"Destroy 12 drones"
In the Taking The Glider Home Today chapter, crash into 12 drones to destroy them. There's a total of 25 drones. If you don't press any keys throughout the sequence, Hop will crash into a total of 12 drones automatically.

Are You My HDMI Cable?
"Deliver the package to somebody"
In the Taking The Glider Home Today chapter, on the 4th screen with drones, there's an open sewer grate. Drop into the grate to reveal a "shortcut". Make sure to grab the box on your way through, then complete the shortcut and the chapter. When you get to the Home Is Where Your Stuff Is chapter, give the box to Hatricia to get the achievement.

Dress For Success
"Have October reject every outfit"
At the very end of the Home Is Where Your Stuff Is chapter. When Hop lands on the sidewalk, there will be a calendar nearby. Click on it after October starts talking to open some sort of character sheet menu. Click on the Outfit button, and then on every button on the new menu for the achievement.

Shutout
"Win 99 to 0"
In the Learning To Eat Bugs chapter, when in the boxing room of the museum, click on the punching bag repeatedly. Once the score exceeds 99, the achievement will unlock.

The Joy of Obedience
"Do what the video game tells you to"
In the I'll Call Him Right Now chapter, when cards start falling out of the monitor, keep clicking on them through Draggy's dialog.

Sneak Preview
"Spoil the ending"
In the RUN chapter, keep getting hit by spoiler bullets and you will eventually get spoilers for the end of this game, at which point you will get the achievement. You may have to get hit many times over the course of multiple playthroughs of the chapter.

Smellgasboard
"Remember 20 smells"
In the Who Was That Guy chapter, when October is asking you what you smelled, select every option that isn't a mineral, when at least one non-mineral option is available. A fake Xbox-style achievement will pop up first - the real one will appear a few selections later.

Molyneux's Fate
"Find out what happened to Molyneux's bones"
In the Shovels Down, Ladders Up chapter, instead of digging down into the electrical cable, go into Molyneux's Reliquary. Instead of there being a cassette like there is in Dig Extra, there will be an urn. Get the urn and then proceed with the game as normal. There are several dialog options related to it, but I'm not sure any/all of them are necessary. Get to Dig Extra, and ask Draggy about it in order to get the achievement. You may have to click through Draggy's other dialog and/or return to him several times to get the dialog option.

Grey Hat
"Get 2000 points in Dom's homebrew game"
In The Operative chapter, on the final floor of the stealth section, click on the computer objective in the top-right of the screen. It should turn yellow. Getting to the computer at this point will reveal a secret programming game. Type EDIT GON (which may already be written on the command line). Use the arrow keys to go down to line 10, add a new line, and add the following code.
score 2000 + { score }
Press Esc, type GON and the achievement should pop up.

People are reporting problems even opening the computer screen. One user reports that this is due to having a non-English locale setting active on Windows, and suggest changing the locale in order to fix the bug. More information in the comments below.

Masquerade
"Uncover a mimic"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter (or Shovels Down, Ladders Up) chapter), a gem (not a tooth) can be found in Molyneux's Reliquary. Reaching it will reveal its true form: another boulder.

Fresh out of Glowsticks
"Find the portable rave"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter, you can find a lightswitch. When I found it, it was the first area, plainly visible just above the electrical conduit. If you see it, dig to it and click on it to get the dialog and the achievement.

The Smell of Clicking Planes
"Click a plane and smell it"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter, after you get the jetpack upgrade. There are airplanes throughout the jetpack portion of the chapter. Click on one twice for the achievement.

Uncountable Combo
"Do more tricks than fit on the screen"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter, after you get the surfboard upgrade. Each time you rotate in a direction while surfing, a trick name will appear at the bottom of the screen, Tony Hawk/SSX style. Alternate rotation directions without coming to a stop in order to chain tricks. Once you have more tricks in a chain than fit on the screen, the achievement will pop. You can accomplish this easily simply by pressing left/right rapidly.

A Bad Case of Tennis Eye
"See how Carl's doing"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter, after you get the surfboard upgrade. Just outside the Deep Sea entrance, there will be a strong current. One of the walls on the right side of the screen is cracked. Come to a stop while you're in the current by hitting any wall, and then click on the cracked wall to destroy it. Go into the now-empty space to get the achievement.

Total Boulder Therapy
"Calm an angry boulder"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter, in the lava fields area. When a boulder in this area gets line of sight to either of your frogs, it will get angry, and fall in any direction to hit you in the next turn. When the boulder gets angry eyes/eyebrows, you can click on it to pacify it for a turn. Do so to get the achievement.

Total Boulder Destruction
"Make two angry boulders crash into each other"
Post-credits, in the Dig Extra chapter, in the lava fields area. As above with the angry boulders. You can manipulate boulder movement by clearing a path for it, and getting out of the path the turn before it charges. Clicking on the boulders helps tremendously for setting this up. You can click multiple boulders in one turn. Once you have a straight path between two boulders, with one frog between the two, get out of the way for the achievement.

DLC Of The Decade
"Reunite your family"
Complete the Dig Extra chapter.

Lacrimosa XL
"Finally get to the drop"
Once you finish the Dig Extra chapter, click on the Sound Test button in the upper right, and select Lacrimosa XL. Listen to the song for a few minutes for the achievement. If you missed this, just chapter select to Dig Extra, ask Draggy to take you to the lava fields, and re-complete the section to get to the ending again.
Other Secrets
These are other unrelated secrets found after the update (or at least, I didn't notice them pre-update).

  • If you play through Frog Fractions Classic while wearing the hat, there will be a new smell diary. Check out the smell diary while you're in the swimming pool.
  • Press the tilde key at (almost?) any point to display a very convincing boss screen, so your boss will think you're doing real work.
  • A bunch of screens now have something you can click on. The cursor often won't change when you mouseover it.
  • Press spacebar during the glider sequence to honk a horn.
  • You can select several classes for October to attend in her character menu. It doesn't seem to affect anything.
  • You can lick the bucket in the soundboard room at the museum by clicking on it, for extra dialog.
  • You can click on the speaker in the boxing room, for extra dialog.
  • Click on the dragon puppet in the upper left part of Draggy's cubicle for an extra title card.
  • When having coffee with Draggy, click on the coffee to spill it and get some extra dialog.
  • Press space when dodging spoiler orbs to switch between October and Hop. October can absorb green orbs, hop can absorb blue ones, Ikaruga style.. Absorb some of both to get a score to display at the top of the screen. There is an extra line of dialog from October if you get a high enough score.
  • You don't have to take any shortcuts in Ikea. Just go left, and then double-back once Dom leaves the first room. There isn't any dialog for it, though.
  • Whenever Phil is near, Hop's Indignity will rise when Phil says something (typically once every dialog option or so), and lower back down some time later. If you advance too quickly through dialog, Hop's Indignity will max out and you'll have to retry the scene. This may prove to be a problem for speedrunners!
  • If you pick up any of the cassette tapes after having gotten the upgrade the tape unlocks, there's some unique dialog.
  • Click on the Hop within the storage container for some dialog.
  • Cryptomnesia is a real word, and it's neat.
  • Hop has a voiced line when atop the roof after the confrontation with Dom. "Look at that sky!"
  • There's some interesting stuff in the local files, in Frog Fractions Game of the Decade Edition_Data\StreamingAssets. An i-see-you.png, a file called 'cool tapes' (possibly the skateboarding videos?) and curious file that might be an explanation of the programming language for Dom's homebrew vector game.

Having trouble with "The Joy of Obedience" in the "I'll Call Him Right Now" chapter? Here's why: you need to click on a card that's fallen out of the monitor. You'll know it's correct when your cursor changes. Wait until he's on the phone, hover below the monitor until you see your cursor change and then click. I had trouble with this.

ALSO, don't bother playing the game if you're on an achievement hunt and trying to save time. Just hit the "new deal." (or whatever it's called, I'm writing this from memory.) I mean the game is fun but I imagine most people are reading this guide to collect what they missed.

Cheers! 🍻

...figured it out. Literally you just click them with the mouse, hence the "outside" help. My brain assumed it was someone in game that would help... gaaahhhh
RazielSoulshadow 5 Jan, 2023 @ 9:21am
@Crandria Also if you still need that achievement, I didn't get it the first time either. I went back with chapter select and ONLY hit the boxing thing on the right. Maybe that's the key, never touching the speaker one and going straight for the other bag (not even speaking to Toby)?
RazielSoulshadow 5 Jan, 2023 @ 8:52am
Kind of late, but how do you break the cracked bricks in the extra dig section? It says we need help from the surface, but Draggy doesn't seem to provide any and I've already beat it so it's not later on... It's preventing me from getting the Tennis Eye achievement
[ERROR] 9 Jul, 2022 @ 3:25am
just got 'Dont void the warranty'
never again
[x] Zmey 11 Oct, 2021 @ 2:03pm
Tried the emulator and it worked. It requred some more work but in the end I got the achievement.
Thank you for all the help!
Doc 10 Oct, 2021 @ 7:21am
Huh. If you changed in Windows, did you restart afterwards? Also, have you tried with Locale Emulator (that's what I used I think)?
[x] Zmey 10 Oct, 2021 @ 6:17am
For some reason changing the locale to English (tried both UK and US) still doesn't let me enter the space with a computer. Sigh :te_sademi:
[x] Zmey 9 Oct, 2021 @ 2:51pm
@Doc thank you a million!
