Input.ini location
You find it here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\TowerGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Open up the Input.ini file.
Inside Input.ini
You open up the .ini files, and then you paste this

[/script/engine.inputsettings] AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.000000,Sensitivity=0.10,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False)) AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseY",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.000000,Sensitivity=0.10,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=True))

If you really want to you can set the MouseX' bInvert to =True to flip the X-axis as well.

Save this, and boot up your game! You should now have the Y-axis (and/or X-axis) inverted.

It's too bad these newer, younger developers don't know that we older, inverted-y users exist. Thanks for the fix!

Don't forget to save the file AND change it to "Read Only" in the properties panel. You may find, as I did that the Game.ini files needs these same lines or even set to "Read Only" the input.ini file may use the game.ini file to reset the input.ini file back blank. It did this to me after 2 play through using the inverted Y. Then when I went to replay to try a different action I found the inverted Y had reset back to the original setting. I opened the input.ini file and even though it was set "Read Only" it had returned to the blank page. Once I added the same lines to the game.ini and saved it with "Read Only" set no more return to default changes. So Far... Knock on my forehead!:steamhappy:

Glad I could help! And I totally agree. It should be in by default, but here we are. No idea if it'll be implemented natively.

Thanks!! Now I can actually try to play this!

Such a shame developers haven't got around to it for so long, a single option in the menu, a standard one at that, how long could this take to implement properly?
