Step-by-Step
1. https://www.moddb.com/mods/splinter-cell-pandora-tomorrow-fixed-shadows-widescreen-support/downloads/scpt this is the link, just click the red DOWNLOAD NOW and wait for it to finish. This has fixed shadows and widescreen support so don't worry about that. (Disclaimer: This is not my link)

2. Now create a folder on desktop and name it Pandora Tomorrow.

3. (Using 7zip or winRAR) extract it into the folder.

4. Go into the folder and go to SCPT, then Game Files, then system. Now rename the SplinterCell2.exe to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.exe and rename SplinterCell2Logo.bpm to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora TomorrowLogo.bpm.

5. You can just play the game right now, but if you want to play it in your current resolution then go to Game Files, system, then scripts. Now go to SplinterCellPandoraTomorrow.WidescreenFix.ini and adjust X and Y accordingly.

6. At the top left-hand corner of Steam, press Games then Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library, then go to Browse..., then Desktop, then Pandora Tomorrow, then Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.

7. Now it's in your steam library. You can set up your own custom box art, but if you want some that are already set up, here are some I used.

For the box art:

For the custom title:

for anyone getting the

General protection fault!

History: VerifyClasses <- UGameEngine::LoadMap <- LocalMapURL <- UGameEngine::Browse <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

I tried renaming it to <different_name_each_time_it_is_run>.exe and <different_name_each_time_it_is_run>LOGO.bmp
Strangely it works everytime I try this hack. Windows applies a compatibility settings fix specific to the current name. Changing the name of the .exe fixes the crash on start for me.

@MiniDaddy Holy shit that may have gotten my problem fixed. Either that or getting a new PC in July helped.

This guide works perfectly,
HOWEVER I found better success getting the game to run correctly if you leave the files unnamed.
If you prefer, you can just rename the game only through the steam library and leave the file path the exact same.
At least this way, in my experience, cut scenes errors and other anomalies don't happen at all

@SpoonSnooper maybe try deleting it and reinstalling, not renaming anything. See if you can play it at its default resolution with no problems then start changing stuff one-by-one?

I did all your steps, and added it to Steam. But when I try to launch it from my library it shows the splash screen then gives me this error :
General protection fault!

History: VerifyClasses <- UGameEngine::LoadMap <- LocalMapURL <- UGameEngine::Browse <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

It launches fine (But the cutscenes crash so I gotta skip em) when I click the .exe from the folder itself, but trying to launch it from Steam just doesn't seem to work. Is anyone else having this issue?

Specs : Windows 10, RTX 3080 Ti, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor 4.50 GHz, 32.0 GB.
