Introduction
Hello, and welcome to this guide! First I just want you to check this guide out, second I want you to, if you haven't already, really try out the 10 workshop characters below, they really nice ones. The times included were achieved on The Endless Abyss with 3 stock, eight minutes, and done on a level nine Doctor Melee Mario AI from workshop (Snolid Ice's.) For this reason, I did not choose Melee Doctor Mario to be on the ten top played, despite my long track record with him. So sit back, relax, and read away.
No. 10 - Toon Link (FelixBlobDev's version)
It's pretty self-explanatory why Toon Link comes in with a measly 1 minute 3-0 KD best game. The majority of Toon Link's moveset consists of many projectiles and light to medium-hitting sword attacks. The few strong early-killer moves that he possesses come out very slow and can be easily parried, or with some characters, countered and turned around, the latter being done several times by the Dr. Mario. I experimented with several configurations of abilities, and found the most effective to be the following: Reg. Arrow-Whirlwind-Remote Bomb, as with Reg. Arrows come the full-charged Light Arrows, and it is extremely easy to set up remote bomb-whirlwind combos for large sums of damage. I'm sure that somebody with more experience with Toon Link could crank out a better time, leave a message in comments below if you succeed in doing so.
No. 9 - Commander Video (D The Hedgehog Edition)
Another pretty self-explanatory entry. The fact that I even managed to get a 53 second 3-0 time with him is exceptional, as he needs to get up to at least MEGA to gain access to ridiculous kill-power, and even then the options are limited and tricky to pull off (Spike with Up-B??) While I admit he becomes nothing short of a diety by the time he gets to ULTRA, it is tough to get a quick 3-0 time in a very short time unless you were to use the braindead approach that only works against AIs
(Strong attack spamming.)
No. 8 - Yu Narukami (levi edition)
This character is RIDICULOUSLY powerful, but only once lots of time has been put into him. A lethal array of smash attacks both fast and slow, a great neutral game, a "unique" airdodge mechanic, and an exceptional projectile all rolled into one. I managed to get a time of 46 seconds with good juggle gameplay and projectile-aerial combos ALONE, (No strong attacks in this house!) but I'm sure that the braindead approach would yield a faster time, but at cost of general enjoyment and loss of brain cells.
No. 7-6 (Two-way tie) - Richter Belmont (A Jaunted Fennek edition)
Richter is... well just about as overpowered as I was willing to go for this guide without breaking my "No OP characters/skins" policy. Anyone who mains Richter is a piece of crap IMO: Projectile spammability, ridiculous frame data, a nigh inescapable one-use down-special that deals 30, you name it. Surprisingly enough, with all of that power, I wasn't able to achieve more than 43 second time against the Dr. Mario. (Do note that I managed to get 30-sec times against the bulkier Etalus) Please do not use this character online, lest you bring torment to the online world.

Pretty please?
No. 7-6 (Two-way tie) Levi (George Seinfield Edition)
I promise no more furries in this guide, honest. (Really.) Anyway Levi is a good option, being a semi-clone of Terry Bogard, (Smash Ultimate version) with tweaks. His Buster Wolf and Power Geyser supers can easily kill from 0% at the edge of a stage, but you usually only get full meter by the time you've taken a stock. Like with Mr. Belmont, I managed a 43 second game against the doctor, but only with a lucky off-stage kill and proper use of Power Geyser on his second stock. Unless you are an expert at the character or had a lucky game, you shouldn't expect a rapid game.
No.5 - Morshu (FelixBlobDev edition)
Congrats on FelixBlobDev for another entry on the list; I applaud you for your great content, and I hope more is coming!

"Lamp oil, rope, bombs, you want it? It's yours my friend, as long as you have enough rupies!"
-Morshu

This big, greedy fatty in the Number Five seat?? Really? Well yes quite frankly, but JUST, with a time of 42 seconds, leaving Mr. Belmont and Furry Terry in the just with a one second lead. The only way this shop-keeper could ever hope to come this far is by his RIDICULOUS edge-guarding capability against the slow-to-recover Dr. Mario. His key to victory is his down-special Lamp Oil toss and his "Lamp Oil, Rope, Bombs" jab. You land this down-spec to 3-hit jab combo at edge results in a proper kill option at percents over 60. Whadda jab am I right? It's yours, so long as you brought enough rupies! Hahaha, jk, the Steam Workshop is now non-profit.
No. 4-3 (Two-way tie) - Browncoat (Big Jimmy, the Ball Taker edition)
Betcha didn't expect to see this lil' zombie shuffle his way into a 4-3 tie with {REDACTED, read on for your hints dummy} but oh yes. I had a large amount of fun playing around with this shuffler, (so much that I spent a whole day beating up the Doctor with it :P) because of his lightning-quick dair spike, and a neutral game worthy of Zomboss' approval. (Almost too OP to put on this list.) He and the next seat come in with 41 second times. I very much recommend dropping a like, favorite, and maybe an award on this shuffler!
No. 4-3 (Two-way tie) - Travis Touchdown (Renlira edition)
A personal favorite of mine to play both online and offline. Tbh I was surprised as crap that Travis managed to score so high up a place, on account of the time needed to recharge battery after literally almost every move. (And also cause' in a recent update Tiger Suplex is no longer spammable.) But hey, his ability to take stocks at 50% at edge with F-strong and his two spiking aerials granted him a time of 41 seconds and a tie with Browncoat.
Note this:
The two upcoming fighters have greatly increased times over their competition whether with a powerful ability or for just being built for quick kills. Buckle in for these speedster times!
No.2 - Melee Captain Falcon (Heinz BoofenShotz edition)
Another melee character to be with our crumpled-up Dr. Mario for emotional suppo- wait no, he's beating the Doctor up too. *Sigh* Well anyway Melee Captain Falcon, one of my fav's on this list, comes in with a time of, ready? 33 SECONDS. Yep! He got a 3-0 in 33 seconds with this combo: Rush in with Side special-up strong-up strong- fair. KIlls at 50% from edge (With bad DI from AI) but to accomplish this combo, the AI needs to DI juuust right, (I literally spent like 30 min trying to beat the 33 sec only to get beaten by the Doctor's DI.) I heavily recommend this character to those who want a quick, powerful, rushdown playstyle.
No.1 - Jigglypuff... just Jigglypuff (Turpix why?)
Bruh... after all the good characters that I STRUGGLED to crank good times out of, they all got dusted by a pink puffball at... 28 seconds time. I'm not going to be able to do more tests as our Doctor Mario has walked off the set to find medical assistance (Ironic ain't it?) So... why you ask is this little NIGHTMARE up in the number one seat? Well, how I did it destroyed about half of my brain cells, (More than Mr. Belmont could EVER do, at least he mixes it up and gives you a rush.) and here is the nightmare-fuel combo that I will never play Jiggs again for: Dash attack-dash attack-dash attack- Up special sing- down special Rest. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- HELP ME! WHERE'D DOCTOR MARIO GO?? I'M HAVING A SEIZURE!!
Epilogue
Ok... *gasp* I think I'm cool... *gasp* well... you, no, WE made it to the end of this guide. I was going to put something formal here, but after Jiggs... I just don't have the energy... Good luck, don't suck, pray to heaven lest you encounter Turpix's Jigglypuff. (Annoying AF.) ...I need a drink...
