Unit Movement Controls

CW3 has several options to simplify unit movement. Many of the key bindings here are mine, based on customization in the game settings. Make sure you review/set them to work the way you want them to work. :)

Select one unit by clicking on it.
Select all nearby units of the same type by double-clicking on one unit.
Select all units in an area (regardless of type) by dragging a box around them.
Select all units of a specific type by selecting one or more of those and then pressing Shift-A
Modify (add or remove units from a selection) by holding down the Shift key and clicking on some units. You can also hold down Shift and follow any of the above selection procedures to add more units to current selection.
Land these units in the same formation as when they took off (or as close to as is possible) by holding down the Formation key (“M” for me).
If you are going to move the same group of units repeatedly, group them. Ctrl-n (n=1-9) allows for group creation/addition to an existing group. Shift-n (n=1-9) lets you select units in the group.

You can also fine-tune intende landing spots. CLick on the green icons where the units will land, then adjust them. Also if you click on an in-flight unit, it's target destination will turn yellow to aid in identification.

Really hadn't twigged that I could select multiple units, let alone group them. This might be a short guide, but the information is very useful. Thank you.
