[Fixed Solution] Game cannot start

simple solution,

go to your Velvet Assassin game local file folder location path -->_CommonRedist-->PhysX--->9.12.1031--->PhysX-9.12.1031-SystemSoftware.msi

open the file and then select uninstall(Remove)

when you finish uninstall it,
next step is go to
Velvet Assassin game local file folder location path -->redist-->PhysX_9.09.0121_SystemSoftware.exe

open the file and install it.

try to open the Velvet Assassin game, should be able to PLAY GAME NOW (Enjoy)

The 9.12 PhysX Software is in: Steam x:\ \Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist
Whatever should be happened BUT it does not help uninstall 9.12 and reinstall 9.09 (in game folder
"x:\SteamLibrary" \steamapps\common\Velvet Assassin\redist
Does not work on Win 7 ... Thus to say...

_CommonRedist is not in the game folder?

thank you this solution worked for me. the only thing is i didnt have to uninstall so i skipped that first step. and found the rest in local files. thank you again.

quando dou play metade da tela fica preta e a outra metade branca ,ja deletei o jogo e instalei de novo e o problema continua não sei mais o que fazer se alguem tiver alguma ideia agradeço

Windows 10 :
- install NVIDIA official legacy PhysX drivers :
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/
- do NOT run the game exe in Compatability mode nor Run as admin : doing this stopped the game from working.

That works for me.
