Intro
This game is pretty annoying when it comes to having to guess when you play a level what equipment you need to complete it 100%. You will end up having to play every level at least twice, and probably keeping track for yourself what items you forgot to bring and which lithostones you missed on previous runs.

Hopefully this guide will cut down on how much you have to replay levels by telling you up-front what items are needed to collect all the lithostones in a level.

It's very likely I missed some requirements, so feel free to provide any corrections in the comments if you notice anything missing or incorrect.

Equipment Notes
By far the most common equipment requirements are:
  • Co-op Switches
  • Dig Spots
  • Bomb Range Up
  • Fan Range Up

If you are playing single-player, you won't be able to collect co-op switches until you get the cat pet, Perle (look around the map on world 2). Until then, if Lithostones are your focus, you will want to bring Snowball or Kuro (the dogs) with you to nearly every level. Unfortunately since pets are required for both digging and switches, if you are in single-player you'll have to do a majority of the levels at least twice.

In general going into a level with bomb range up, fan range up, and either Perle or Snowball, will end up being your best general loadout. Of course, by world 3 the difficulty ramps up to the point where you will probably want some extra lives from an accessory.

Co-op players will be able to collect nearly all lithostones in one go with proper equipment combinations- a small handful of levels require either 3+ players or for one person to have Perle, while a couple levels in the EX world require more than the max of 3 digs from one pet.

Spreadsheet
Since this game is apparently quite unpopular, and I doubt I'm going to see anyone in here, I'm just going to post the google sheet that I created for myself.

You can take notes and keep track of things for yourself if you select File > Make a Copy- I'd recommend marking at least what pet you brought in if you're playing solo.

Added thank you! EX-B6 probably has some more nuance (I forget if Pearl is the only animal that can hit buttons) but I assume the "co-op switch" is the one pictured underwater.
