oh my goodness this patch saved me! I still kept the game to windowed 1920x1080 with only 2 saves as backup [deleted the oldest save as soon as a new one popped up] but the patch works great! Did find it odd that I could play the older sherlock games no problem but this one was having the issues ^^;

@isabeller76 I don't know if it helps, but it definitely doesn't hurt. It simply allows older games to use more than 2GB of RAM

Just amazing.

My game crashed twice after doing the prison part (annoying 1h wasted) and I had no idea what to do. This fixed all of the crashes. Both auto-saves and manual ones.
