Intro
Don't you like the music, that comes from the radio? You wished, you could add your favourite songs?
You can! And it's very simple.
How to
Go to your Steam folder and follow this path:
Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\StreamingAssets\Music\User
and add your songs there.

In "Car Mechanic Simulator 2018" you had to put .ogg data in the game folder. But not with the 2021 Version! I mean, you still can, but why using .ogg data if you can use .mp3, right?!
Outro
For maximum fun, I advice to use only Rock and Metal!
Have fun fixing cars, while headbanging!

It works, but first of all, when the mp3 starts no problem, but it doesn't get to the next song automatically, you have to do it maually and if you use Ogg it will start playing automatically and it will go to the next song automatically. The path he gives is correct and if you put anywhere else the songs, from music0 up to music4 and user it will have no problem, which means you can have one folder with Rock and another with another type of music. Your welcome.

i also recommend audionautix, as it had its own radio station for audionautix rock in the preious game.

I made a folder by downloading everything I wanted to listen to from Pixabay then Simlink to that folder. Its like I am a game dev and redid all of the music lol

Also, one could simply create a SimLink that points to a folder that contains MP3 songs/audio, so that there would be the possibility of sharing the same folder(s) between different applications/games without the need to actually duplicate sound/song files. I did this for CMS21 and Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. One folder for three games. Neat! ;)

I agree wit it's just must simpler to turn off game music and use favorite streaming app or your own music player to play the files off your hard drive vs. duplicating them to the music folder for the game. This also reduces any complications that can arise when adding extra data into the game folders.

I bought Bacobens Rock Top 500 some years ago - I'll be dropping those into the folder. "Turning Wrenches to Hot Jams!:

Is there a trick to get mp3s to play? Mine do not play.
