Like most games released within the same era; Criminal Girls: Invite Only uses an industry standard technique called Frame Rate Capping in order to moderate the speed of various in-game animations ranging from character walk cycles to attack animations (etc.). So to put it simply; the greater the frame rate the game is being run at, the faster the in-game animations will play out.

By default, the game is maxed at 30 FPS and some of the in-game animations (in combat especially) will often feel really sluggish and time consuming after a long period of playtime, but with some fairly straight-forward reconfiguration using the NVIDIA Control Panel, we can adjust the frame rate limitation and effectively double the game's performance to speed up everything, including all the tediously long attack animations during combat.

• Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking on your desktop and click 'NVIDIA Control Panel'

1. In the program window, click on 'Manage 3D settings'
   
2. Click on 'Program Settings'
   
3. Click 'Add'

• In the drop-down list, click on 'Criminal Girls Invite Only' to select the program. (You may need to start up the game in the background if it isn't showing up in your drop-down list)

1. Scroll down the settings list and click on 'Max Frame Rate'
   
2. In the drop-down menu, switch this setting to 'On'
   
3. Set your max framerate to 60 FPS (Unfortunately, even when setting this to a higher framerate, the game will not exceed 60 frames per second)
   NOTE: For good measure, you should also turn off 'Vertical sync'.
   
4. Click the 'Apply' button to apply your new settings

And that's it! Restart the game and you're good to go!

With these new settings applied, you can now enjoy the luxury of:

• Faster attack animations.
  
• Faster screen transitions.
  
• Faster combat status message skipping ("Sako became poisoned").
  
• Faster cutscene and dialogue progression.
  
• Smoother looking animations.
