Tier List
Explanation
So I already posted this a few days ago, but something didn't sit right with me and I decided to fight the bosses again, but this time without using any UV Sunscreen or even Eclipse unblockable. Eclipse is the best weapon in the game because of its amazing unblockable, but I felt that it was perhaps too strong. A lot of these fights you could easily beat just by spamming Eclipse unblocable, even against normal Sejima.
Also keep in mind that this is on Holic, with +999 gear and food buffs. Also this is only counting the story fights. I know there's other fights like Sister (high A or barely CHEATER tier) and Sara, but those aren't required to beat the game so I don't count them on this list.
So I've rearranged the tier list a bit, and I think I've come up with the final version!

Starting from the lowest to the highest:

Suzu, Chief, Yu - These three just aren't very strong. Yu and Chief's damage, even on Holic, is extremely pitiful. For reference, in the last Yu fight where you have to fight Yu + 2 bodyguards, the bodyguards are more of a threat, considering that Yu does about 600 damage and the bodyguards do 30k damage... yeah. Same situation with Chief. They just do no damage, so even though you have to fight both at the same time, it's not a problem.

Suzu actually does a fairly decent amount of damage, but again less than an end-game trash mob. Elite shadow souls at endgame do roughly 30k damage.

Mother Soul, Awakened Sejima, and Rui - definitely a tad more difficult than your average mob. They hit like a truck, at around 100k damage, so they are most definitely dangerous. However, the good thing is that it's a solo fight, which is the easiest fight in the game. For Mother Soul as well, despite having 3 pieces of gear and strong damage, you get Rui making it a 2v1. And we all know how unfair outnumbered fights are in this game. Rui and Awakened Sejima only have 2 pieces of gear. For some reason Sejima loses his hat, but that's good for us.

Mido
- Here's where the 1v1 fights actually begin to get difficult. Mido is very sneaky, as she's the only one who actually does anything resembling mixups. The vast majority of enemies, including bosses like Sejima, are very predictable in their attacks. They will typically attack hhh, mmm, lll, and rarely deviate from it. Not Mido. Mido actually mixes her attacks up, which makes things more confusing if you aren't prepared for it, and I most definitely was not prepared for it the first time I fought her because there's no other enemy that's like her. She likes to do things like hhm, hhl, llm, mmh, etc. If that wasn't bad enough, her weapon animation is also different, since she kicks on her third string. Seriously, did you see her 3rd mid attack? What the heck is that, that looks like a high!

So yeah, she's actually a fairly tricky fight. Not super bad since for the most part you can hold block and try to learn her mixups and wait for a counter, but it definitely took more than a handful of tries to get past her. She's only a B because despite being a lot tougher than your average enemy, it's still just a solo fight and she doesn't have anything else other than some slight mixups.

Sena and Mana - There's a simple reason why these two are in A. It's a 1v2, and we all know how broken 1vX fights are. And unlike the Yu/Chief fight from before, these gals actually do damage. And they hurt. A lot. They're not really any special. It's just the 1v2 that makes the fight tough.

Regular Sejima - Oh my god... oh dear. This fight was one of the most frustrating fights in the game. I was legit about to pull my hair out. If you've fought regular Sejima on Gamer+, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about.

First off, normal Sejima is more durable than Awakened Sejima because he actually has his hat, so that's a thing.

Second, he's counter happy. He's so counter happy in fact that he can counter attacks that he shouldn't be able to! You can legit hit him, hear the hit sound, see the damage numbers, and he'll still counter you and tear off all your clothes! WHAT THE FFFFFF LOOK AT THIS!!!.[im2.ezgif.com] This also means that you can never attack into him because 90% of the time he'll just counter you. So your only choice of attack is to just... sit there and hold block and wait to counter him. That brings me to my third point.

Third, normal Sejima has like a frickin 1 second unblockable that dashes full screen. Very hard to react to, and you can't dodge it because it's a dash. Oh yeah, and he also likes to use it the second the fight starts. So that's cool, already got one-shot before I could pull my weapon out... but the worst part is that he likes to mix this in at random. Remember how I said that you can't do anything but just hold block? Yeah well when you're holding block, he likes to just randomly use this unblockable, and you get hit because you're completely unprepared since you're waiting for a normal attack.

Fourth, the terrible camera placement. It's like a 1.5v1 because not only are you having to fight the hardest boss in the game, but you're fighting against the terrible camera placement. Because of the way the room is shaped, the camera likes to get covered by the giant wall in the middle of the room. Or if you get pushed back to the door, now you can't see anything. Even though you fight in the same room in both Shadow Soul and Coexistence routes, you start at the door on Shadow Soul, which is much worse since you have less space to maneuver and your camera is even more messed up. Lovely...

Fifth, the weird high ground in the room. The room has a few weird steps and chairs that you can actually go up on. Which causes weird things to happen and just makes fight him more difficult because he'll do a low, but it looks like a medium because he's on higher ground than you. Frustrating.

Sixth, his cheating wake-up attacks. All enemies can do this. They're able to wake up the second they get knocked down, which means you can't do too many attack. You're stuck using the counter, then 1 attack, then quickly block incase they wake-up attack. But it's worse on Sejima since his attacks do so much damage and you're backed against the wall so you get hit by all 3 attacks and instantly die. Sometimes, sometimes for no reason, he'll wake up even BEFORE your first attack! So you'll counter him, then try to hit him on the ground and he'll just for some reason instantly wake-up attack before you even touch him. WHAT THE HELL?

SGV - Honestly not much to say. They're just regular school girls, not really anything special. Except that there's 5 of them. And of course, since it's Holic, they all hit like a truck. And Eclipse unblockable isn't very useful in 1vX fights since you'll get hit by one of the other girls when you're in your animation.
I've tried. I really tried many times, but I just gave up and used sunscreen at the end. At least fighting Sejima is actually somewhat fun and exhilarating. This SGV fight is just horrible though. Does anybody actually enjoy 1vX fights in this game?
