Lucky Pawn
Firstly, you must choose Lucky Pawn after talking to Beauty and Beast. Then Donkeyskin Coat and Briar Rose will appear in your Book of Fables.
Donkeyskin Coat
The Toad will bring the coat to Lucky Pawn and it will be added to your Book of Fables automatically.
Briar Rose
Then go to the glass showcase beside Jack and there you'll see Briar Rose.

Hey, your guide is alright, but just a little more details would help. For instance, to get "briar rose" you have to find and look at the item
