It allows for good build ups, you're not going to get the boosted start that fake AI have, but by the time the first corner comes, you're usually already taking lead,\

So, as said in the beginning, if you mimic these settings you can still have more fun completing the customizations before/during race restarts {Single Player}
These builds are also easily taken into Horizon Online,
Dampering: when you convert RWD to AWD< you'll see default settings having been to give more grip to the front, as the wheels control the cornering, and accuracy, You should generally up them both again in AWD mode, as it must grip-rather-than-slip on the road/terrains you want to drive it on.
It's basically stronger grips, warmer tyres, and happy-smooth-go all the way to the finish.

But on 90° turns you need to be dropping back to gear 1, with these builds, if you download them,
You should have noticed by now, {i haven't tried driving it on Automatic, but i can IMAGINE it being insane :? - The higher torques are in lower gears of the 1000KW cars, now, under your reigns.
Depending on how powerful the car, sometimes I can recommend 2nd and 3rd gear to prevent slippage on the wheels, when they are so powerful.
BUT< if you lose control of any car going high speeds, besides braking, you should be gearing back to 1st, so that you can come out of this.
You will discover car's sweet-spots with this method of tuning, and driving , and the Final Drive, can help you get the sound you want to hear from specific cars too, Like a 599XX EVO, 2.38 was the FD value to help achieve 480+ KM/H back in the day :D

Drop your gears, or break, I don't like to generally increase Break STR, usually 111-120%, but 145% is GREAT< for all cars easily driving past 300KM/H

So these are built for controllers, but wheel-feedback would be appreciated,
You are getting such higher top speeds that builds up and up and up , in first gear, that you can hear deeper sounds from the cars,

Driving any HYPERCAR off into the oblivion trying to get 400KM/H would be your life gone on Day1,
You need to learn via the gears, what speeds are good, and at cornering,
This game is MORE realistic than FH4 [Which was awesome considering we drove, 500KM/H in a Ferrari 599XX EVO]

Another thing: about the Camera- use cockpit view, and the guidelines - this is another mechanic that is your tool to drive the best. The Guideline is for a new country. I've never been to mexico? it allows us to know the best lines so that we build in the muscle memory, and learn the paths that the bots drive - Which once learned allow you to manipulate these bots, once you're acing PRO - you should then try unbeatable. 90% difficulty - with no assists, is my way of making money.

I Drive the Gauntlet, A LOT< tune cars for this - Ferrari Enzo is my current rival to beat at 900's ,
The Titan { by the Volcano } A LOT _ For testing tunes, AND Skill points regenerating! you can drift the entire event and get a combo score multiplier at the end :D

Use Handbrake on the red guide lines entry, to see if speed adjusts accordingly, or then starting gearing down, and using wheel brakes further, till the line turns yellow-orange, or blue
Try Coasting, if you just geared up , you don't always need to brake.

Use Speed Zones to drift, see what speeds you keep and track them vs. other drift cars; etc

Ferrari F50GT is better than F40C this game :) but they're both EXCELLENT
Lambo SE FE even the standard one, higher top speeds than the FE, OFFROAD TOO :) You can customize the engine to full spec, take rally wheels, and it's still within S2 rank

Cars with some of the highest combos; Some of the best cars, will not have higher than 5x combos even with Mastery, but you can use the Radio to get occasional skill songs, 10x the current rate. You should drive whatever feels best for you, and think, of cars really driving 400+ KM/H without Traction control on. What will you ever achieve? in the real world, SC and TC would be on by default, advanced cars let you turn them off, to have fun, in strict environments.

Each car is unique, and driving with the guiding line is recommended, purely to sidestep bots, and manhandle their paths, but also to learn new /better paths. Use the interior car view to help learn the roads as well, as it can be better seen from the driving seat, compared to car's 3rd person camera.
Adjust your FOV's in the Graphics menu to help you also find the comfort of your view you want,

456 Hours, and today I turned on Stability control, Do yourself a favour, and turn this on, forever. TC is nothing compared to this.
SC is meant to keep equilibrium of the car on, always. It keeps tires balanced, and equally spinning them all at the same RPM, it ensures speed is maintained around all types of corners, and most importantly, it tries to still keep you on the road!/track, , It's better than TC.
I think, it's good to use, to learn a car, and see where it's limitations, and strong points are. It helps identify , but it does feel like the car has got a ghost in it, to help you. Each car does feel very unique in the Stability control.

I tried TC on and off with a lot of cars, some it just doesn't even activate on, and in many cases, when you expected to drift, because the car is losing grip/you intended for it, with handbrake, TC can sometimes make you lose course, completely, like a Wrong-Turn continuation.

Drifting with TC on, is a fun exercise you can use to modify, your own drifts that are always going out of control.

SC on the other hand feels like a TURN ON_ something you cannot live without. When you're learning new cars, for the first time, or a track, where you're colliding with the barriers on every corner.
If you play unbeatable bots by now, sacrifice 10% of the credits, to play with this feature on.

SC on, is a great way to help you practice clean laps on Rivals, in cars that are new to you, or perhaps 'older' cars, that need that little something extra to drive it better. I can guarantee that a 1980's Ferrari with SC on, feels great, if you minimze your usage of brakes.

ABS Brakes,ARE GOOD< but not worth the 15% difficulty CR loss, and i can guarantee, we should be learning to drive, not brake like pro's.

Learning the speed that you should take the corners, and which gear comes from driving manual.
As per all these hyper cars, and driving manually, 3rd, even 4th gear is okay to go around a corner [assists off] and prevent spin outs. But it's definitely recommended to test the cars within their limitations, as they would have factory-delivered it to you, had to ordered it.

IF You are able to MP, xbox live networking Menu of Win10 - Connected, NAT / not Blocked:

You should put assists on, Traction Control, ESPECIALLY if it's raining,
AUTO, not always recommended, MANUAL IN MULTIPLAYER CAN REALLY BE KING WITH THESE GEARBOXES!!!

So you should noticed, the higher speeds from lower gears, and be looking for sweet spots in gears 3-5, even if the car has 9/10 gears,

Driving, 700's 800's S1' S2' with modified gear timings is a pleasure, even if to have fun, get to know the routes,
Take it with a pinch of salt, even the same setup will never feel the same on all cars, if replicated,
That's why it's so RPG- stat values for cars to determine best performance,

HAVE FUN< it's a lab of car chemistry,

P.S. you can do traction control off, - Especially on Drift Open and smoke your competitor's eyes around corners, First gear drifting is very capable, and some good escaping speeds,/ watch each car's limitations,

As per FH4 issues - Your network devices should not be in a disabled state. Ensure all network adapters are enabled,
-If you use WIFI - make sure your home network profile is set to private profile, and not public.
Check Control Panel, Search for Firewall, and make it default to normal settings, then make sure Forza is added to the Private firewall allowed exceptions.

Run as High Priority:
Open your steam library, Right click Fh5
In the game properties,
type in launch parameters

Can't Sign in- Stuck selecting account, but it's not working with your Microsoft account:
Close the game
Windows Key / Start Menu
Search for and open the "Credential Manager"
Navigate to the "Windows Credentials"
Scroll down to "Generic Credentials"
Click on and "Remove" any Generic Credentials that start with "Xbl_Tickets".

Check status, Blocked is not what you want, and NAT Moderate is okay, -> Click FIX< let it do it's thing, and then click try again,

RUN CMD AS ADMIN<
sfc /scannow for Windows Image checks, vs the online version corresponding with what you have installed,

○Ensure Geforce Overlay is not turned on for this game,
○Even Steam Overlay off is better- [○PRNT SCRN button and pasting to paint documents is better than steam overlay]

○More Nvidia Control panel : Ultra Low Latency mode didn't work when on - crashed multiple times, it's best to put this off, globally

Update your xbox one S controller - Firmware up to date, boom, game fix. -> but it's been 2 patches since this has happened. It did still DC once, or twice even with this firmware after first patch. It was then confirmed to be the game, and not the controller/firmware, as it's always used when plugged in.

Other fix; generally good for open world games:

You need to fix your PC's that can crash even word documents
-Starting with a custom set paging file ,
Open the start menu, and type 'sysdm.cpl'- press enter,
Go to ■Advanced, ■Performance, ■Settings
Advanced in the new window and click the button down saying 'Change'
Make sure it's not automatic,
Set minimum 8192MB for Initial Size, and go up to 16000MB if you have 16GB RAM,
Apply,, Restart PC,

Windows 10 Display settings: It's best if GPU scheduling is OFF<

Turn Steering / Handling to Standard, and Not Simulated, -
TC, and SC< are not always required, but this can be more fun with SC on,

Make sure Steering is never simulated, as it's wildly unstable, with a controller. Probably best if you have a wheel.

The most common thing I've done to achieve this is drive free roam, for roughly ten kilometers,
fast travel to at least 3-4 places

Well, if you are here by now, studio drivers got an update,4 Jan 2022, and Geforce experience seems to amplify the game,
you need to ALT+Z and actually turn the shadow play off, do not have a layer always recording you in the BACKGROUND/

Set a frame Cap Limit, match your monitor refresh rates, if possible, or drop resolution to get higher refresh rates, if you want/ don't get generally good FPS<Check Rock Paper Shotgun performance settings, ideal from anything a gtx1070/--Level, and rx500-series up from AMD,. there is also scaling, in the FH5 Graphics menu -> [good for streaming] or alternative screens you may need to use: start with 'Ultra quality' ;) Good for 1070, but downscaled the game's everything, - You can jump hills, and see those zones you fall through ∞ - Reset your car in the menu, -X button ,

AMD can partially reference the frames per second limit seeing as the pure power is uncontrollable for MANY game engines
Sidenotes: Ryzen cnotroller if you dont alread y have it you need it in critical terms to make sure game does NOT eat your PC, with high FPS comes high temps; so low per monitor basis, or vsync amounts,

If you stream, it's good to cap FPS 10~15FPS above the recording amount

TC OFF Feels like being released of a poison, slowing you down in the woods, when you're running from a terror, / beast/ thing you don't have enough time to look back on, and evade, simultaneously,

The Hotspots on this map are 24%, 30% , 74% - Watch out for the trees, Smaller cars, are actually better favoured, or, offroad wheels, to demolish terrain easier, Use that handbrake to drift on grass :D
