This method works. Consider briefly reading the following before watching the video to avoid making unnecessary, time-consuming mistakes.

To access this puzzle load the level Pre‐Conscious: Tearless Lake. After exiting the tunnel hug the right side of the map and follow the pickets until you reach the final tree, it’ll be near the largest body of water.

If you’ve made it this far you should know the invisible route to take as it’s a copy of one of the earlier levels. If not, watch the video and practice the route before touching the blue coral sphere. If the coral is lost (which is easy to do) you’ll have to restart from the beginning of the level (Pre‐Conscious: Tearless Lake) to get to the tree again – not fun.

As far as I can tell you need to left‐click to drop the coral, but it can only be picked up by running directly over it – this makes perfect sense! Once you ‘grab’ the coral try to aim as far up into the air as possible (whilst still being able to navigate and not fall) before manoeuvring along the platforms to the broken mirror. I believe this helps the coral avoid being caught by any platform edges on its ‘inverse’, mirrored plane – which seems to happen frequently in other guides.

Once you arrive at the square platform directly in front of the broken mirror you’ll then want to aim down at the floor and left‐click, as though you were placing it down normally (so as to not knock it from the platform) then move backwards, leaving the platform. I would suggest carefully approaching the front of this square platform (right at the end of the preceding stairs) before placing the coral, as opposed to rushing straight into the broken mirror and risking the coral bouncing off of it.

You should be able to see its reflection in the water of the ‘inverse’ platform – that means it worked and you can now climb the stairs to the unbroken mirror.

Hopefully this guide helped you.
