Intro
This is my first guide, so don't expect it to be amazing. This is made to *hopefully* replace Abyss's guide. (Edit: This was pre-correction, and is currently in the process of revision anyways)

Friendly reminder, you have 20 save slots, USE THEM, this will help prevent you from accidentally skipping missable content.

There WILL be spoilers in this guide, so just a heads up now

Also, try to avoid leveling up as much as possible, since running doesn't cause you to lose gil, its worth avoiding encounters till a later point in the game since it becomes possible to get bonus stats on level up. Saves time anyways since many early enemies are not very difficult anyways

Final bit for the intro, this may not be 100% complete right away, as parts of it may be done while I play through again

Edit: Just as a heads up, for the first 2 dungeons do *not* open any of the chests, so any time you're in Narshe mines or S. Figaro Cave do not open any chests until mentioned by the guide
Narshe Mines 1
Nothing missable here, just some optional stuff, mostly with Mog during the multi-party sequence, including unequiping him for his spear and shield, and learning his 1st dance

Also don't open any chests yet, will give better items later in the game

Thanks altermaven for the tip
Figaro Castle 1
On your first visit here make sure to collect the phoenix down above the throne room and the chests in each of the shops. These are non-missable but they don't get upgraded. Remember to also enter the left area of the castle as there is a scene there that introduces a party member. Can't remember if this is necessary or not but oh well

When battling the Magitech Armor bosses, make sure to have Terra cast a spell for a missable scene, though its not important to the story in any way, just makes the next scene a bit more digestible.
Figaro Cave 1
Make sure to NOT collect any of these chests yet, as they will give something nicer after a later event. Unless you are just crazy and want some cheap items

Anyways, only reason this is here because the mobs in here can be missed if you do not get the entry before a point very soon in the story. These mobs appear on the Veldt too so make sure to encounter them for rages
Duncan's Cabin
There should be a house north of South Figaro. Enter it and make sure to rest. Afterwards leave and make sure to speak to the old man for some backstory on an upcoming boss and party member.
Also don't forget the potion near the furnace as this is missable after an event later
South Fiargo 2
Yeah just a return here before the returners base, make sure to go back after defeating Vargas to see a scene between Duncan's wife and Sabin

Thanks Wildrune for the tip
The Returners' Hideout
There is a scene here if you check near the top of the table, and chose to leave the paper. Another is also from denying Banon 3 times, where you receive a genji glove, which is far superior to the gauntlet you get otherwise. Both end up getting upgraded into the same item later, but oh well.
Lethe River
The enemies here are a bit frustrating. Lots of darkness to go around, so make sure to bring eye drops.

The boss here isn't too notable, though make sure to use fire on him for some extra dialogue
Senario Selection
Not anything missable yet, though you may not pick the same scenario as me, and that's fine. I will mark which scenario each missable item is behind going on. And don't worry everyone rejoins again
Figaro Cave 2: Locke's Scenario
Hey a return to this cave... and hopefully you remembered to go back and encounter the enemies in here before, as we have some new ones

Enemies: Cartagara, Gold Bear, Acrophies

Boss: Tunnel Armor

Same way just in reverse. You have a choice to open 2 chests now, one with an X-Potion which is not upgraded later, but there is a lightning rod, which while it may help against the next boss, it is upgraded into a better offensive reward later, plus come soon you can buy them anyways if you really want one for later bosses.
Imperial Camp Region: Sabin's Scenario
Make sure to recruit Shadow, as he will help a lot with this next section, also enter the house for a scene, and remember this location for later
Imperial Camp: Sabin's Scenario
Damn, another one time area?

Enemies: Soldiers, Leader, Magitech Armor, Doberman, Satellite, Templar, Cadet, Kefka?

Items: Black Belt x1, Star Pendent x1, Mythril Glove x1, Green Beret x1, Barrier Ring x1, Remedy

Ok I should say most of the entries are not missable, besides the Doberman. Anyways, to receive the star pendent and Doberman entry, make sure to chose the top option, for the Satellite, Green Beret and Mythril Glove, make sure to enter the left tent after fighting Kefka ONCE. Finally, make sure to jump off the ledge north of this tent and receive the Barrier Ring. Also... yeah for anyone who has not played this game some of the bosses in this game either become enemies/get a reskin as a upgraded enemy or boss later. It's not many though.
Phantom Train: Sabin's Scenario
Damn another 1 time area after another?

Enemies: Apparition, Ghost, Poplium, Bomb, Angel Whisper, Cloud, Living Dead, Oversoul,

Bosses: Siegfried?, Phantom Train

Items: Tent x2, Earrings x1, Green Cherry x1, Phoenix Down x2, Sniper Sight x1, Hyper Wrist x1

Ok where to start, make sure to go to the backmost car for both a scene and a item on the ground. In the private compartments make sure to fight Siegfried and the Apparition in chests. Before fighting the train, remember to hunt for the Angel Whisper, Cloud, Living Dead, and Oversoul entries
Mobilz: Saben's Scenario
Nothing major here, just the Wounded Soldier side quest. If you need to know all you need to do is walk between his house and the post office basically. Make sure to say hello to the shop keepers after delivering each letter, and have a total of around 3k gil saved. The item you get itself isnt usefull, but you can upgrade it later into a much better item.
Crescent Mountain
There are 3 scenes here, 2 of which give items, though not sure if they count towards 100% completion, though may as well get them anyways right? Just stand under the lights to see the scenes
Nikeah: Sabin's Senario
Nothing major here, just a scene with Sabin and Cyan in the pub, though do remember to buy gear for all the party members you have found besides shadow, for obvious reasons
Narshe Mines 2: Terra Scenario
Yay more 1 time areas, though this time its just 1 section

Enemies: Valeor, Wild Rat, Dark Side. Specter, Eukaryote

Only for right now the last 3 are missable, because of the security check point. Make sure to fail to encounter the 3 mobs for the Veldt

Also do NOT open the chest in the Moogle cave, it upgrades into a better item later anyways.
The Battle for the Esper
And the end of the scenarios, anyways this area has some enemies you need to make sure to kill

Enemies: Corporal, Hunting Hound, Fidor, Heavy Armor

Mini Boss: Hell's Rider; make sure to steal from him

Boss: Kefka

Items: None

Simple battle, same as the one near the start of the game just a bit harder, Just remember to fight at least one of each enemy before fighting Kefka
Figaro Castle 2
Make sure to have Edgar and Sabin then rest in the room for the scene. This scene is fairly important to the story so make sure to see it if possible, plus you should have Edgar anyways for the discounted items/new shiny tools
Opera House 1
Oh yeah, forgot this place existed despite a scene here being the staple of the game

Enemies Stunner, Goetia

Boss: Ultros

Oh boy, make sure to get the 2 rats for collection, and this time Ultros is a bit more dangerous, so just keep an eye on him, also avoid blitzes as he counters with Acid Rain, while it might not be super dangerous if you have decent levels, the sap is an issue because of low health values currently. The boss also often casts debuff spells like imp, and often uses lv3 confuse so avoid having levels at a multiple of 3
Vector/Magitek Facility
Oh boy, we have a doosy here, quite a long dungeon here too, make sure to have some magic learned

Enemies: Belzecue, Chaser, Derstroyer, Flan, General, Lenergia, Magna Roader (P), Magna Roader (R), Onion Knight, Proto Armor, Sergeant, Trapper

Bosses: Ifrit and Shiva, Number 024, Number 128, Crane L and R

Impossible fights: Guardian

Items: Flametongue, Ether, Remedy, Thunder Blade, Icebrand x2, Dragoon Boots, Zephyr Cloak, Golden Helm, Golden Armor, Tent, Golden Sheild, X-Potion, Stoneblade

Very long dungeon here, many of the items are tough to find so be sure to look everywhere. Also, be sure to encounter the flan in the garbage chute and collect both magicite before leaving the chute. Also if you encounter Guardian just run, you can not defeat it... yet

So Shiva and Ifrit... very simple bosses but again in theory still bosses, just blast one down and the fight will end.

Number 24 is also weird, he often loads different elemental "data sets". Basically these signal both his weakness and the spells he uses. He often casts tier 2 or 3 elemental magic, along with a special spell for each "data set". Avoid hitting with other elements as he *will* absorb them, so just a very annoying boss. Oh and dont forget to steal the rune blade from him

And finally Number 128, pretty annoying boss but by keeping his arms in check hes pretty manageable, just be careful of when he eventually casts protective spells and haste, but by then you should already have absolutely demolished him

Final note, make sure to encounter the chaser during your exit, but be cautious as they are fairly dangerous

And finally the cranes... Very annoying as this is a pincer attack.
One absorbs fire, while the other absorbs lightning, after getting hit 3 times they cast either Fira or Thundra, absolutely shredding your health. They mix the battle up between attacking the party, or casting the spell the other absorbs to increase charge count. Basically, the gist of it is burn these down *fast* as they will not play nice
Narshe Mines 3
Oh Narshe again? Well go to the house below where Terra woke up, there are chests here, one of which was opened by a thief! Follow him into the mines, and enter the area you couldn't earlier due to the size of the magitech armor. Anyways after reaching the top, make sure to save Mog instead of the thief, as golden hairpins become plentiful later. Plus if you don't pick Mog you permanently miss one of his abilities anyways
The Cave to the Sealed Gate
Got a tip from the comments on this, it may be missable, but either way treat it like it is

Enemies:
Entrance: Lich, Antares, Ninja
Lava Rooms: Outcast, Provoker, Zombie Dragon
Gate: Kefka?

Sadly I won’t list items this time, I tried to type them out and my tab crashed, so will link the wiki

Just make sure to be careful of all the enemies besides the Antares and Zombie Dragon, as they all have powerful attacks or annoying statuses

Cave to the Sealed Gate[finalfantasy.fandom.com]
Grenade Forest
Ok so this is only missable after a certain point, but its just frustrating to get. West of the Veldt is a lone forest, you should encounter bombs here. Your goal is to encounter a grenade, as you will need it for 100%, unless you stall the boss inside the burning house for far too long (which is a horrible idea since the boss is *very* frustrating to deal with
Vector 2
Alrighty banquet time!

Talk to or fight all 24 guards

Enemies: Imperial Elite, Mega Armor

And now for the answers:

To our hometowns

Leave him in jail

That was inexcusable!

Celes is one of us!

Now ask each question once and ONLY ONCE:

Then lets talk about the espers

Yes, the Espers have gone too far.

Respond with the question you asked first

Take a break

Fight the Imperial Elites

Yes

That the war is truely over.

Yes

If you scored max make sure to loot the Castle and the Abandoned Base

Also there is a scene afterwards between cid and stezer, I believe it is on the airship, so travel there before leaving
Burning House
100% one time location

Enemies: Balloon

Boss: Flame Eater

Items: Flame Rod, Ice Rod

Easy dungeon, just takes time, also try to learn explosion
Esper Caves
Ok so this is a one time dungeon so you know how it goes

Enemies: Adamankary, Bonnacon, Mandrake, Land Grillon, Venobennu

Boss: Ultros

Items: X-Potion, Healing Rod, Tabby Suit, Chocobo Suit

Anyways, this is one of the tougher dungeons, and this Ultros fight is one of the hardest. Make sure to be careful of the Adamankary as they can use sneeze. Reminder to pick up White Wind from the Venobennu

To note on Ultros, he uses his typical rotation, but now sprinkles in some T3 spells like Firaga, and Thundaga, very annoying but after Relm joins in just sketch him and he realizes how disgusting he is, fleeing the battle (poor Ultros)
Triangle Island
Oh boy... here we go

I have no tips here, but your goal is to encounter the Intangir.

Realistically, the only way to kill this is to cast Stop, then throw strong attacks at the enemy. You will likely want Edgar, Sabin, Cyan, Gau here, since these are pretty much the best melee fighters you have, though if you bring Locke, you can steal magicite shards, if you're into that I guess. Just make sure to heal in-between meteors after stop runs out. Around 1.2k hp it can flee, so try to keep stop on as long as possible.
End of WoB: Prep
Ok so now that you finished the sad scene with leo, reminder to receive all the missing entries or items in the dungeons I did not list, any Espers obtainable in WoB along with all the encounters on the overworld, as you can not return after defeatingUltima Weapon
Make sure to stop by Doma Castle before going to the Floating Continent

Also DO NOT forget that dance you were holding off on for a while, it is obtained at the serpent trench, and this should be 7/8. THIS IS THE ONLY MISSABLE DANCE
End of WoB: Floating Continent
Oh boy, this is 100% the toughest dungeon you will go through for a while, well till WoR kicks in

Enemies:
-Air sequence: Sky Armor, Spitfire
-Continent Pre-Escape: Apocrypha, Behemoth, Brainpan, Misfit, Dragon, Ninja, Platinum Dragon, Gigantos
-Continent Escape: Naude

Bosses:
-Air sequence: Ultros and Typhon, Air force and Lazer Gun and Missile Bay
-Continent: Ultima Weapon
-Esacpe: Nelapa

Items: Elixir, Murasame, Beret, Sasuke

Oh no, multiple bosses this time? Oh yeah

Be ready as after you start you have an endurance run until the 2nd boss is down, also did I mention the music for the Ending boss is Kickass? Anyways the enemies here are very rough, so stay in back row. For the Air sequence, Ultros is hella easy, but the boss after isn't

Say hello to the Air Force, a very frustrating boss. Make sure to take out its Lazer gun AFTER the Missile Bay. Also after taking out the Lazer Gun, take out the Bit, it absorbs magic with its inherit Runic status, so avoid using magic till its down. Afterwards its a 6 turn blitz to get the boss down before it hits your party for a high power attack

And now you are on the continent... welp it gets worse from here

Ninja's first. They will throw Edges to hit your team for a good chunk of dmg, and can gain Clear status. Just hit them with low lv magic to clear this easy.

Now is the Platinum Dragon, just a tougher Wyvern

Apocrypha, normally not an issue as long as it is not the last thing alive, as it can cast L.3 Confuse, L.4 Flare, or L.5 Doom when hit/on its turn. Though it dies when it runs out of mp so basically free mp if you run low

Behemoth, usses the tough attack Beatdown, along with countering everything with it. Avoid using summons on it too since it will counter with Meteor :)

Misfit uses Lifeshaver, so watch out for that, though with gaia gear, this and the boss become much less of an issue

Brainpan casts stop on a party member, along with using 1000 Needles

And the last enemy is the Dragon. Oh boy these guys, they have a chance to counter any attack with Sneeze, also uses a devastating physical Tail, also uses revenge to do more damage as it losses hp, and finally Cold dust to freeze a target

And finally... the boss, Ultima Weapon

This man is a literal beast. He uses massive attacks to sweep your party, and also has the HP of some WoR bosses. Man thanks game

He starts using physicals along with Flare and Blaze. After reaching 12,800 HP, he begins using a pattern, Quake, Bio, Meteor, and finally either a physical, or its special attack, Full Power. He then uses Fira on the full party, following with Mind Blast, then gives itself Protect, Shell, and Haste. Then finally... he charges for Flare Star his ultimate attack, which does unblock-able, and defense-ignoring Fire damage to all party members equal to 80* the level of a random party member divided by the number of party members.

And now for his 3 phase after reaching 6,144 HP. He uses his physical, Tornado, Graviga, Rasp, and then Blaze. Also has a 1/3 chance of countering any attack with Blaze.
After this is the escape, where you should remember to not approach the elixir right away, instead walk around and claim it then.

Reminder, do NOT jump, Shadow will come in if you pick to wait for him, and you will go together
If you don't wait for him he will die and be unusable for the rest of the game, leaving lots of scenes miss-able, plus he's much better than a later party member anyways
WoR info
Ok... so a lot of stuff here could be done in any order. So just a heads up I will label everything once again, so its easy to find, though early on the events are fairly liner.

For the return through South Figaro Cave, dont forget to pick up the ether/x-potion/and hero ring located at the east end, west end, and northwest end respectively.
Solitary Island 1
There is 2 different scenes that play out depending on whether Cid lives or not, basically you play a mini-game to decide if he lives or not. Whether he does or not has no later effect besides this scene, though him dying leads to a very emotional scene that fits well with the current position in the story
Tzen WoR 1: Collapsing House
Ok first 1 time area of WoR

Enemies: Nightwalker, Scorpion, Zokka

Items: Ether, Magicite Shard, Blood Sword, Healing Rod, Holy Rod, Hyper Wrist

May take a couple tries but it is possible to open every chest and still escape in time, just remember to equip a ribbon as petrify is a game over without other party members
WoR Mobliz 1
Wow... this place is in ruins, also hey look whose here!

Anyways, this is an optional area

Boss: Humbaba?

Fairly tough boss, but you get Fenrir who can teach Teleport, so might as well do it, goal is to just survive long enough to reach the actual boss

Boss: Humbaba

Frustrating boss here... unless you have Bio for some juicy Poison damage.
He often casts 1000 Needles, which as it says, *always* does a flat 1k damage. He also rotates between physical attacks and some other stuff thats not really worth mentioning. Basically just hit with Aura Cannon and slam Bio till he flees
WoR info 2
Technically everything after receiving the airship is optional, but really its not easy to finish the game in this state. Many of the sidequests may be pulled from the wiki because of this to save time
Deathgaze
Ok pretty tough boss, though I'll just link the wiki for this, since I can't really explain how to find it

Deathgaze[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

Anyways summary is he is on 6 tiles on the world map while in the airship. When entering the boss, he casts L5. Death. Afterwards he can use a couple spells including Areo, Death, and Blizzaga. After 3 turns he flees, despite this, he does NOT heal in between battles, so his 55,555 hp is actually fairly low.
Sabin's Ultimate Blitz: Duncan's Cabin
Once again, hard to explain, so I will link the wiki

Duncan's Cabin[finalfantasy.fandom.com]
Solitary Island 2
Take a stop here to receive the Quetzalli esper to learn Slowga and Hastega
Mt. Zozo
Recruit: Cyan

Enemies: Mugbear, Punisher, Glasya Labolas, Devil Fist, Luridan

Boss: Storm Dragon

Items: Ice Shield, Thunder Shield, Aegis Shield, Red Cap, Gold Hairpin, Key to Cyan's Chest, Books

The Storm Dragon is in a chest near a save point

Storm Dragon[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

Basically the Dragon casts wind element attacks, and uses strong physicals. Definitly the roughest of the dragons currently available due to its raw hp/attack stats
Narshe Mines WoR 1
Recruit: Mog

Items: Moggle Charm, Elixer, Pod Bracelet, Ribbon

For the Moggle Charm check above where mog was standing, the other 3 items are obtained after opening the chests I told you to leave, located in the West end of the Moogle Cave, North of the save point during Terra's escape, and one Northwest of the same spot.
Veldt 1 WoR: Cave on the Veldt
Recruit: Gau

Items: Berserker Ring, Ichigeki, Tigerfangs

Enemies: Twinscythe, Gorgimera

Mini boss: Death Warden

Boss: Behemoth King, Behemoth King (Undead)

Find Gau on the Veldt first by having 3 party members. Also if you forgot to wait for Shadow you will find Relm who you recruit later
Dragon's neck Coliseum 1: Shadow Recruit
Recruit: Shadow

Ok first stop here in this guide, for now just bet the Ichigeki to recruit shadow
Mobliz 2
Recruit: Terra

Boss: Humbaba

Oh boy is he tough now, He has the same attacks as last time, though now after losing a majority of his health he uses Humbaba Breath, removing the first 2 party members from your party, basically just spam bio and keep your health up. After finishing the battle you get Terra back
Jidoor WoR 1: Owzer's house
Recruit: Relm

Enemies: Blade Dancer, Caladrius, Coeurl Cat, Crusher, Misty, Rafflesia, Still Life

Boss: Chadarnook

Items: Emperor's Letter, Ether x2, Gold Needle, Lakshmi Magicite, Lich Ring, Moogle Suit, Potion

Make sure to look at all the paintings for items and enemies
Narshe Mines WoR 2: Umaro
You MUST have Mog in order to recruit Umaro

Recruit: Umaro

Enemies:
-In town Garm, Lukhavi, Test Rider
-Northern Mines: Magna Roader (B), Magna Roader (G)
-Southern Mines: Garm, Wizard, Psychos
-Back Mines: Knotty, Illuyankas, Onion Dasher, Anemone, Tonberry

Bosses: Ice Dragon, Valigarmanda, Umaro

Items: Force Shield, Valigarmanda Esper, X-Ether, Gauntlet, Midgardsormr Esper

Enter the mines and follow the path to where the Battle for the Esper took place. There you can find the Ice Dragon.

Basically hits your party with ice magic attacks. He can freeze party members but other then that generally its not a rough boss with Fira/Firaga

Valigarmanda is the same, he just uses Blizzaga and Northern Cross. Just slap the boss with Fira and occasionally heal.

Jump into the Back Mines after Valigarmanda and then open the chest to the southwest for a monster in a box. Strategy here is to avoid letting the enemies close in as they use a stronger varient of Knife which will basically ohko the party member in front of them.

To get Umaro you must claim the magicite in the skull then win against him with mog in your party

Anyways Umaro is a pushover before he eats the Green Cherry, afterwards kill him before he can hit you. He's weak to Poison/Fire so if you don't have Firaga just spam bio and its a pretty easy win
WoR info 3
I will be linking the wiki from here to help with the many puzzles in these upcoming dungeons. I will still list all the enemies and bosses for easy access, and giving tips for the couple I've done
Zone Eater's Belly
Recruit: Gogo

Items: Hi-Either, Pinwheel, Magical Brush, Thunder Shield, Genji Armor, Red Jacket, Fake Mustache, Hero's Ring, Zephyr Cloak

Enemies: Amduscias, Baalzephon, Covert, Kamui, Shambling Corpse, Wartpuck

Zone Eater's Belly[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

Fairly simple dungeon, not 1 time either so don't worry if you miss anything. Only way to enter is by going back to the triangle island then encountering the Zone Eater and letting it consume you
Phoenix Cave
Recruit: Locke

Enemies: Chaos Dragon, Clymenus, Face, Galypdes, Necromancer, Ouroboros, Seaflower, Zeveak

Boss: Red Dragon

Phoenix Cave[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

2 Party dungeon here, and many of the enemies are either undead or absorb fire, so general rule of thumb here is cast blizzaga or thundara. Anyways many of the chests here are empty but honestly it is likely worth opening them since I'm not sure if they count toward 100% or not
Narshe WoR 3
Items: Ragnarok Esper OR Ragnarok Sword, Cursed Shield

You can receive the Sword or Esper by going into the weapon shops back room, and the shield by going into the relic shops back room
Veldt Region WoR: Gau's Father
Once again, just linking wiki, make sure to bring Sabin and Gau for this though

Gau's Father's House[finalfantasy.fandom.com]
Cultists Tower
Recruit: Stratigo

Enemies: Lv 10 Magic, Lv 20 Magic, Lv 30 Magic, Lv 40 Magic, Lv 50 Magic, Lv 60 Magic, Lv 70 Magic, Lv 80 Magic, Lv 90 Magic, Magic Urn

Bosses: Magic Master, Holy Dragon

Make sure to have Relm to recruit Stratigo

Cultists Tower[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

Make sure to learn ultima before entering as you can only us magic. Also Magic Master will cast ultima upon death, so either cast reraise or kill him through him running out of mp, though 50k mp is quite a lot...
Dreamscape
One time dungeon here

Enemies:
-Dreamscape: Alluring Rider, Coco, Pandora, Parasite, Weredragon
-Train: Al Jabr, Samurai, Suriander

Enemies:
-Cave area: Coco, Devil, Enuo, Figaro Lizard, Samurai, Suriander

Enemies: Aspidochelon, Creature, Mahadeva, Medusa Chicken, Moonform, Sorath, Warlock

Boss: Hidon and Erebus x4

Dinosaur forest
Come here to kill the 2 big dinos for bestiary completion

Enemies: Brachiosaur, Tyrannosaur

Dinosaur Forest[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

Tyrannosaur is a slight threat, with a 1.5k meteor, wheres the other... you can see for yourself
Final Dungeon Prep
Reminder, you will have 12 Characters for the Final dungeon out of the total 14, so be prepared for that. Make sure to have everything you need before hand and keep a save, to check for any missing entries after the dungeon.

Also reminder to collect all 8 clock elixirs in the towns, and do all you Colosseum stuff
Kefka's Tower
This is it... the final stretch

Enemies:
-Outside: Great Behemoth, Great Malboro, Vector Lythos

-Cave: Great Behemoth, Great Malboro, Primeval Dragon, Fiend Dragon, Vector Chimera, Landworm

-Factory: Duel Armor, Fortis, Death Machine, InnoSent, Metal Hitman, Mover, Junk, Muud Suud, Prometheus, Gamma

-Palace: Demon Knight, Yojimbo, Dark Force, Ahriman, Daedalus, Cherry, Outsider

Bosses:
-Outside: Demon (Party 2/3)

-Factory: Fiend (Party 1/3), Inferno/Ketu/Rahu (3rd party)

-Palace: Ultima Buster (2nd party), Gold Dragon (2nd party), Skull Dragon (3rd party), Guardian (2/3 party), Goddess (1st/2nd party)

Final Bosses: Statue of the Gods/God Kefka

Make sure to bring Strago into the Fiend boss fight or a lore will be unobtainable!

This is a *very* long dungeon. Many of the enemies can kill you fast, but many also have lores for Strago. There are quite a few dangerous enemies (without ultima). They are Great Malboro, Great Behemoth, Duel Armor, Deamon Knight, Yojimbo, Ahriman, Cherry, and a couple others.

Now for bosses, Ultima Buster is a souped up version of Ultima weapon that *will* use Ultima at a late point in the fight, you can burst the boss down before Ultima pretty easily.

Inferno is another souped up boss, this time of Number 128. Same way to kill it it just hits a bit harder.

Gold Dragon is a joke of a boss, mostly due to using very weak Thunder spells/the amount of elemental absorb/resist gear you have by this point

Goddess is a very difficult boss without Ultima/Flare. She has inherant shell/haste and will "confuse" any members who get hit with Entice, which is uncureable. She also will make anyone who does physical damage to her take *all* physical damage for her after hitting her. She also uses high tier thunder spells/Flash Rain/ and Quasar (for those who dont know or didnt see it from another boss, this is a high power non-elemental spell that is also a lore). After being hit 8 times she will cast Cloudy Heaven, which will doom the whole party, and anyone who dies from then on becomes a zombie.

Fiend time! This is another difficult boss (again without Ultima). His first 1/2 of his health he will cast spells you have seen before, all high tier ice elementall spells so Blizzaga, Absolute Zero, and Northern Cross. After being hit 8 times at any point during the fight he will switch the rows of the party with Reverse Polarity. After seeing the massage "Fiend's aura is trembling violently!" he will gain reflect, haste, and image. He will now either cast Fiendish Rage (his unique attack), just attack, or use Force Field (the lore you MUST obtain) which will pick a random element and make him immune to it

And last but not least, Demon! This is by far the 2nd hardest, as he will use very strong attacks. His first phase will use Metal Cutter, Tyrfing, and Stop. Any stopped characters will be killed shortly after by Blaster. In Phase 2 he begins to cast Meteor, Areo, Flare Star, and Southern Cross. When hit 8 times he will use Wave Canon, a lightning spell

Kefka's Tower[finalfantasy.fandom.com]

The End
Just a reminder the bestiary has a nifty tool that allows you to see any missing encounters on the map/in dungeons, it should be shown with a big ?

And a big thanks if you made it to the end, if anything else needs adding, let me know in the comments and I'll get right to fixing it :)

Anyways big thanks to the wiki too as it is a great location to check information, as I used it to check the last 6 or so dungeons as they have a lot of stuff :)

This will be updated in the coming months for the last couple dungeons as I finish dreamscape and beyond, and actually bother to learn WoR enemy attacks

Would like to suggest adding this for the magitek factory: you can steal mythril mail off the sergeants and some other enemies, and magicite shards off the flan. #024 has one of the Icebrands you can steal, and #128 has a Kazekiri which I think is for Cyan. Would also help knowing that you only encounter the magna roaders during the cart escape sequence, and the chaser after you get off, before you run into Setzer and you fight the cranes. Also, you CAN go back into the factory after getting off the cart, but you can't explore the whole thing again, just the very top area. In general the whole place/sequence is a treasure trove and a very good spot for early AP farming, in case that doesn't become obvious to anyone.

I could swear I remember in the SNES version I played a long time ago Gau started out w/ more than just 9 monsters. I've started over on this version a few times and I don't think I've seen that change. Is one of the hidden achievements involved in catching EVERY monster available with Gau? Please say no....

And in response to the gau thing thats intresting, I could be wrong on this but I think its a specific starting set of rages you get? I cant say for certian since I dont know the game all that well outside of the widely known things

Oh that's what you meant, both of the dungeons with the upgrading chests upgrade once WoR starts, but S. Figario Cave also upgrades after obtaining Celes. The upgrading items I think for the Cave is Thund. Rod and a non-upgrading X-Potion. Overall though its just better to open after WoR starts though because (I think as I mention before the tunnel armor boss) the thunder rod *is* decent at the time but the boss is simple enough that its just not worth picking up the rod unless you're doing a challenge run

Where did you make the corrections? I don't see anything new on the scenario entries. When do you open the chests you mention are upgradeable? After the Esper battle or at the end of WoB, or after WoR starts?

Whatever version of this game steam is selling is messed up, b/c by the time Gau joins you on the veldt, he should have every monster you've encountered up to then, but he doesn't, even if you run through the other scenarios first. Really dumb and frustrating.

Fixed somewhat, I didnt completely understand exactly what was meant though, so if its not completely fixed feel free to lmk

I don't see anywhere in your guide that makes it clear to open which upgradeable chests until after the esper battle or WoR.
