Iridium
Iridium can be mined with a T1 ore extractor when placed down in the iridium cave Cave is just under the sand falls here. this will also lead you to the Sulphur area and Osmium area
Aluminium
Aluminium can be mined with a T1 ore extractor anywhere in the biome with large grey rocks.
Sulpher
Sulphur can be mined with a T1 extractor in the gas covered area.
Osmium
Osmium can be mined with a T2 ore extractor in the osmium caves. The easiest cave i found to put one in is just off of the gas filled area where you mine sulphur..
Uranium
Uranium can be mined with a T2 ore Extractor in the uranium cave. Its a bit tricky to find, so first you start in the rock spire biome. You then find this crevasse and follow it. On the other side of the crevasse the cave is almost directly straight and a bit to the right. For people who find it easier to follow coordinates, entrance is at 580:35:-655
Super Alloy
Super alloy requires T2 ore extractor and can be mined in super alloy cave. To find, go to the nose of the big ship and head in the direction im looking. youll find this cave entrance and can set up extractor inside. For people who find it easier to follow coordinates, entrance is at 1065:65:1700
Zeolite
Can be mined with a T2 ore extractor in the zeolite cave. The cave is attached to the osmium cave next to the sulphur zone.
Tips
1.After testing found that the T2 ore extractor takes 27 minutes to fully fill up.

2.Would keep a room near the extractor to use for storage and/or a shredder to store or dispose of the basic ores in till you feel you have enough.

You should make a guide with where you can get it with t3 so we can set up automated resource producing with consistent results

Update for anyone wondering, the T3 Ore Extractors were nerfed. You can now select what resource they mine, but the options to pick from are based on the location of the Extractor. So if you want Super Alloy, for example, you have to be in one of the Super Alloy locations.

The inconvenience from this is mitigated by the inclusion of Drones, which can be used to automatically move items from place to place. Throughput would be based on travel distance and how many Drones you have.

Use the tier 3 ore extractor if you are ruining the automation update or above. It can extract anything, anywhere. As of the fish and drones update the anywhere part was removed, but you can still select the ore you want to extract.

Also A tip for maximizing storage space if you have a recycler then don't bother storing cobalt, iron, titanium ,silicon, magnesium or aluminum and just store super alloy or super alloy rods and recycle the super alloy into the resources when needed.

5.star.kiwi In the advanced crafter it costs 8 super alloy and 1 aluminum. I don't remember how to unlock it.

In regards to any questions that may come up regarding T3 extractors, from what i read in the patch notes they will only mine specific resources and you wont have to worry about the excess junk.

I wont be updating the guide for now unless there's a significant change in extracting or new ore that's extract able. Currently i'm waiting for the game to have significant updates before i play it again.

Thank you all for getting this to the second highest rated guide of all time for this game, as of the time of this comment.

Good photos, thanks.

Also - just for anyone trying to mine Uranium, definitely go to the one in this guide past the ravine/crevasse in the east. The other/newer Uranium mine by the Lush Highland area (just above the water) is super crampt and can only really fit 2-3 separate miners so it's not really an efficient place to scale up mining.

Super alloy has numerous places you can find it if you can't use the ore extractors yet to mine it. The labyrinth to the north-west of the aluminium field has alloy all along the ledges above the labyrinth. The far west side of the sulfur field where it's dense with fog has lots of alloy scattered around. The alloy cave itself has a small amount scattered inside it. Finally the crater has alloy scattered in the middle, you might have to look under water too for some.

By the time you've unlocked the means to mine alloy you may start experiencing a purple asteroid event which bombards your base relentlessly. This one is an alloy asteroid, but you must collect it as the asteroids are falling as the alloy vanishes very quickly. Try to not be near the water when this event takes place so that the alloy lands on solid ground and is easier to find (unless you've covered the land with plants and buildings then you might struggle to find it.)

Not sure if anyone else has said it but there is also another (more annoying to get to) uranium cave a little over yonder from the big ship crash in the place that turns into a sort of fertile valley looking thing in the distance to the west(?)

also some stuff hidden by the map border over there.
