By Beefy.Wisdom
Want to be one of the people who get the "Doctor WHO?" achievement?
You're going to need to get the "Long Weekend" achievement, as part of getting the others for the achievement.
Read this guide to learn how to beat KFO-Transit on Hard, solo.

Why try so hard for this achievement?
If you didn't know, you have to beat this objective map on hard to be able to get a new character. To get that new character, you'd have to complete all the Transit Objective achievements (You don't have to beat the map on HOE, Normal, and Suicidal) and you have to beat this map on hard. So here's how you can beat it.

Multiplayer makes this map harder to beat, with more people, the zeds get stronger. Unbalanced teams can screw the whole team up, and no coordination can lead to screw ups as well. In Solo, the zeds are weaker than in multiplayer, less zeds in general, and easier to do.

(This is my first guide, and if anyone wants a video for this i'll make one, just comment if you need a video guide)
Choosing Perks
For every single wave, except the Patriarch wave, I advise you kids to use the Berserker class. I used a level 6 class, so i'm not sure how useful it will be using a Berserker that's less than level 6.

Why use the Berzerker? (in this case, level 6)
1) You start out with Armor.
2) You start out with an Axe.
3) Most kills are only done with 1 melee attack. (Or 5-7, depending on the zed)

Berzerker Loadout:
-Armor
-Either Handcannon or Magnum (takes out those pesky crawlers quickly)
-Claymore Sword (When you don't have enough for one, use an axe)

On the final wave, for the double patriarch, (Yes, there are 2 Patriarchs, if you didn't know) change to Demolition. I'll explain what you have to do in the final wave.
Hazardous Transport w/ Berzerker
You had to pick up Nitroglycerin, and now you have to do that long, painfully slow walk to the cooling room, great. Just keep in mind that zeds can spawn behind you. There's usually atleast 1 fleshpound and maybe 2-3 scrakes, which usually come behind you as you slowly walk...

(When you get to the door you have to unweld, if you want to make your life quicker and easier, use 3 grenades and blow the door up)

Inside Job
This is the mission where you have to weld 2 electric boxes to heat up the generators. After you finish buying stuff from the trader, stand in front of the box next to the trader, don't go up the stairs yet.

(The box will be outlined in white before the wave starts)

When the wave starts, start welding it until it reaches 100. Next, go behind you into that room and go up those stairs and weld that generator. You'll notice that the zeds pay more attention to breaking the welds instead of you. Go back to the 1st generator and kill all the zeds. If they did damage, quickly re-weld. Then go to the 2nd generator and kill those zeds. Then keep repeating this process until you complete the mission.

(Side Achievement - If you kill 250 zeds before the generators create 200 watts of power, you get the achievement, "Totally Metal")
The Final Wave
Change to your Demolition class immediately, that's the first thing you should do.
(Or run to the trader with your berzerker class and then change to Demo if you're far away)

Sell everything you have, buy pipe bombs and the L.A.W.

You're going to place about 4 pipebombs in a circle under the hole on the pile. (Put one in the middle if you want) That's where one of the patriarchs will go.

Next, place a pipe bomb on the door you see in the image below, then add 3 more pipe bombs in front of it. Keep walking straight and keep putting the pipe bombs down.

Once you set them up, stand near that door, but not too close to the pipe bombs, and watch for the patriarch at the hole. If he comes, shoot him with the L.A.W if needed, and the bombs will do the rest of the work. It's likely the Patriarch will come through the door, however. Just listen to the bombs explode. Whichever one blows up first is where you need to shoot first.

(Also, you can chuck grenades to the area where pipe bombs blew up if you're at a last resort)

Finally, pick up an eye from the Patriarch, and use it on the door, and you completed the map!
Final Words
I apologize if this guide doesn't sound like it makes sense. If it doesn't sound like it makes sense, i'll do a video walkthrough and post the video up if you'd like. Just comment if you want me to.

Thank you for reading this guide. I hope you guys all get the achievement. Happy killing. :-)

Another vote for a video review. That will raise your guide to 5 star status. Good guide anyway

Dwarfs axe is as powerful as claymore, but it knocks zeds back, which can save you from a raging fleshpound.
However, after I tried completing the map with it, it didn't turn out very well (I died).
You were actually right about the claymore, because it swings (as it seems) slightly faster and has a longer range, and the fleshpounds can be kited without them raging at you.
Well, I failed in the end anyway, because my Demoman perk is only lvl 3. Gonna try it again today.

@Pvt. Parrot - I don't have the Dwarfs?! axe, so I don't know how strong it is, so i'm sure you're right.

imo, dwarfs axe > claymore for dealing with FP-s
