Instead of buying a large quantity of small, bad robots (ex. 5 Stalkers, 5 Destriers), instead save your currency for one bigger, better robot (ex. 1 Butch, 1 Fujin).

- Black market chests (kinda trash tbh)
- Special Delivery chests (less trash, but still bad)
- Components from the Workshop (This is your best way to get components for robots, although it takes a LONG time to get even just one robot or weapon - a month or more)

Sometimes, but rarely, Pixonic (the War Robot developers) will give out free robots, tokens, and weapons. These usually happen around War Robots' birdays and Christmastime. You can get some really good robots from these. I got a Giftbringer Fenrir and a Sheriff Demeter from these free giveaways. You don't even have to fill out a form: it jsut pops up on your War Robots Hangar screen!


Instead of upgrading your Kid (the default Titan), save up for a better one, like the Ao Ming, the Minos, Sharanga, or the Nodens. Also save up for better weapons. Check the info page for each titan (the "i" in the circle next to a robot) to view Pixonic's recommended equipment for each titan. This applies to robots as well.


If you spend enough time and effort, and spend your in-game currency well, you can get some pretty good robots without spending a single cent of real life money.
