I’m beginning to think I need to run 3 half-elves with some cha just so I can choose which option I really want, but I still need to know how to make certain the diplomacy guy gets assigned diplomacy lol.
Lastly, have you experimented with a hasted rogue? My next experiment may be trying to use ready action range and then regular attack with the haste action, to try to get off 2 sneak attacks per round.
It won't come up usually, but late game on high difficulties or high enemy health multipliers it may very well happen.
If you are using point buy your primary attribute would be 16 or 17, and you would need 2 ASI's to make it 20. In this case casters generally want 2 ASI's and Flawless Concentration feat, not much of other choice there.
I really underestimated the importance of DEX vs Armor - but you have shown me the light!
Many thanks! Alavairthe! (May your skills prevail!)
The only thing i'd mention is that seems that the scavengers don't actually keep a 'cut' of what they loot, as the price they give you for items left behind is the same as you get for selling them to a vendor.
Therefore, it's not worth going out of your way, and possibly diverting resources that could go into the rest of your build, to increase your encumbrance for more than you need for your own equipment, or the time to hunt down and sort/sell loot. Just grab the items you think you'll use, and leave the rest for the scavengers. Especially since you have the option to buy items back from them in case you did miss something you wanted.
