Basic things
This guide will sort from the easiest achievement to the hardest provided with basic knowledge for newbies and how to expedite it. First and the most important part, most of Chivalry 2 achievements could be obtained in Offline gamemode making it much easier to unlock.

If you don't want to do it in offline gamemode, that is totally fine! But, there is one achievement that is bugged out as of writing this guide (patch 2.5.3) that needs to be done in offline gamemode which is called "brave brave sir robin".

Do note this guide might not be accurate, because steps in this guide will be based on HOW I unlocked them. Most of my achievements are unlocked by playing multiplayer gamemode.
Battle of the bastards
<Can't be done in offline gamemode>

This achievement needs you to kill someone who is using a bastard sword with a bastard sword. The bastard sword is the base skin/variation for the longsword that is exclusive to knights. The bastard sword appearance below (notice the blade near the hilt is much thinner).

Bastard Sword

Regular Longsword

Getting this achievement in offline gamemode is impossible because bots will never spawn with the bastard sword variation.

  • Tip: this achievement is the embodiment of "the sooner, the better", because it is more likely to find fellow newbie knights using a bastard sword variation.
This is fine
You need to die to fire damage. The quickest way is to play in Rudhelm, because there is a lot of pyres and burning objects that you could use. Other method is by using Crusader's firebomb to burn yourself.

fun fact : if you got knocked down due to fire damage, that means that is a fire thrown by your ally.
Win (as) ... x times
Nothing here to explain, much easier in offline gamemode. Though if you want to do it online, attacker side has higher chance of winning than defenders or check the team that is steamrolling the other. You dirty team switcher

    Win as Agatha/Mason 10 times
This achievement is much faster if played in TDM.

    Win <Map> x times>
The maps that have this particular achievements are Rudhelm, Lionspire, Darkforest, and Coxwell. Search for stages in the map that needs you to defend a particular spot with chokepoints or a singular objective (I will rank the stages that have high win rate for defenders and their pictures, give it your all when you get this stages as defenders).
    • Rudhelm
      Stage 1, Siege ramp push
      Stage 2, the gatehouse <1st>
      Stage 3, Razing encampment
      Stage 4, Siege ramp push
      Stage 5, the courtyard <2nd>

      stage 6, Heir defense <3rd>

    • Lionspire
      Stage 1, Ram push
Stage 2, the gate door <3rd>
      Stage 3, the courtyard <1st>

Stage 4, Gate with banners <2nd> (could be first if there's dedicated engineers)

      Stage 5, Explosives

    • Darkforest
      Stage 1, the roadblock
      Stage 2, the caravan push
      Stage 3, the gatehouse <1st>

      Stage 4, the caravan push
Stage 5, Burn down the roadblock
Stage 6, castle siege <3rd> (could be second if defenders coordination is better than attackers)

      Stage 7, Duke's defense <2nd>

    • Coxwell (imo the hardest map for defenders)
      Stage 1, Village razing
      Stage 2, Gate door <1st>
      Stage 3, Cart looting
Stage 4, the market square <3rd>
      Stage 5, Agatha's last stand <2nd>
  • tip: In offline mode, team switching is necessary to get to a particular stage that you want much faster.
Kill 10, 50, ..., 2500 enemies
<Can't be done in offline gamemode>

There's nothing much to say here, just play and enjoy the game! But, might as well I give some info about the game's weapons.

Some knowledge I picked up whilst playing, hopefully it help for you new players.

  • Ranged weapons such as bows and crossbow can only be blocked by shields, but blocking without one will reduce the damage you take from bows and crossbow.

Ranged weapons such as javelins can be blocked even if you don't have a shield. But when they hit, they will stagger the enemy and cancel their actions.

    • Hitting an enemy with a thrown shield will also stagger them like javelins and throwing axes.

Tip : Stab attacks could hit 2-3 opponents, first is when there's a person behind the one you attacked or you dragged your attack sideways (right or left) after stabbing the first target to the second one. This applies to all weapon types, except for bows, crossbows, or weapon that is too short.
The things I do for love
You need to kill an enemy by making them fall to their death. Quickest way is to do FFA in the "Fighting Pit", either use knights charge or spamming the kick button until the enemy fell (kicking a crawling enemy will get them farther away). In team objective maps, only Coxwell that doesn't have death falls such as rivers, cliffside, traps, etc.

(middle hole in fighting pit)

(I don't recommend this one, because I've seen times where the enemy would be alive and will die to fire damage instead of fall damage)

(there's 2 of this type of traps, hit the x by either hitting it with melee attack or throw something at it)
100 kills as a(n) archer, crusader, footman, and knight
The same as before, just play and have fun with the game. Though, this one could be done in offline gamemode.

But it's not really worth it to do it offline, especially if you're new to the game and will play it in the long run, since both of your account and class level won't increase from offline play.
Health-based achievements
I got better
You need to be revived once. Much, Much easier to do in multiplayer due to the fact that bots will prioritize fighting the enemy. So when the bot tries to revive you, you are more likely to bleed out first.
What do we say to the God of death?
Very easy to do, you need to bandage yourself 3 times in one life. Any damage taken, no matter how small could be bandaged. So make sure you refill bandages in supply chest.Do note, ammo chest/barrels will not give you bandages.
  • tip : If you are being lit on fire, using your bandages will put it out much faster than waiting for it to die down.

Field medic
<Can't be done in offline mode>

Revive 10 teammates in total. Nothing to say here, just revive crawling teammates. This is impossible in offline because bots will never be knocked down.
Tip : Man-at-arm's medpack will instantly revive and heal crawling/downed allies. Also, the medpack will heal 100 health to allies while 50 (roughly) health to yourself, so use it on yourself when you REALLY need to.

Seeing red
Achieve double kill while your health is below 25 hp. Much easier in offline mode.
    • Tip : actively search for 1 v x situations, whether it's you doing solo, helping a teammate being pinched down, or tunnel-vision the enemy archers.
Projectile based achievements
    Fight in the shade
This achievement needs you to play as an archer or pick up a bow and let loose 1000 total arrows. Nothing much to say here, whether you miss or not will be counted for the achievement. Good luck if you hate playing archers!
I'm not sure whether crossbow bolts will be counted.

    Yadome!
This achievement needs you to deflect 100 projectiles. The projectiles in question are thrown objects, whether it's a thrown weapons or thrown props (barrels, crates, fish, etc). Simply block the oncoming projectile and do note, countering thrown weapons will PROBABLY not count for the achievement.
Doing this in multiplayer will be much faster because bots will only throw objects if they spawned in with objects that needs to be held with 2 hands (harp, water jugs, etc), this sadly only happens in brawl mode.
So blocking arrows, ballistas, and bolts will not count for the achievement.
The count
This section is actually only for one achievement, "The count", but might as well I tell the difference for riposte and counter. The count needs you to perform 200 counters.

Counter

To perform a counter you must do a block then attack before the enemy's attack hits you. Think of counters as a dangerous game of Simon's say. If enemy doing an overhead you must do a block to an overhead. Enemy do a stab, you perform block to a stab. Enemy do a slash, you perform a block to a slash.

Also, light attack could counter heavies.

(+) The good of counter
  • A successful counter will cancel the enemy's attack, unless you counter it at the end of the enemy's swing. This could save your teammates and destructible objective from getting damaged.

  • A successful counter will refund your stamina from doing an attack, additionally it will replenish your stamina even more when you hit an enemy, blocked or not.

  • Doing a counter will not push you back little by little. This will save you from getting pushed to a trap or close the distance to enemies.

  • If you're holding a shield, countering will not be done with your shield and ultimately increasing its longevity.

(-) The bad of counter
  • Mistimed/mismatched a counter will obviously get you hit.

  • It is tricky to perform and relies heavily on timing, especially to those that are new to the concept.

  • The enemy may stall/slow down their attacks to bait your counter, making you vulnerable.

  • Weapons have different "weight" or timings that could mess up your flow.

Riposte

Ripostes are easier to perform, simply block an enemy attack then follow up with an attack.

(+) The good of riposte
  • Easy and less risky to perform, you don't need to mind timings as much as counters.

  • Very good for combos and mix ups.

  • Riposte could be feinted to a kick. Do a light attack after blocking a hit, then kick.

(-) The bad of riposte
  • Very taxing on stamina.

  • Since riposte is heavily reliant on blocking, it will break your shield (if you use any) and slightly push you back every time you get hit.

  • Gives the enemy much bigger opening for a retaliation if compared to counter.

Remember, both counter and ripostes could be feinted to a different type of attack. So watch the enemy's timing and attack pattern, so you could gain an advantage against them.

  • Fun fact, you could counter thrown weapons, arrows, and bolts if you time it right.

For further research, i recommend this video below

Night Knight
You need to kill 10 person with your bare fist, much easier in offline mode. Remember to press 6 to use your fists.

I recommend using a knight or footman, due to their health and speed respectively. The technique that I used is by downing the enemies first with a weapon, then slap them. Special attack of the punch is much better due to its damage and its stagger time, though timing is needed.
Baker's dozen
This achievement needs you to kill 13 enemies by throwing bread at them. The fastest way to get this achievement is to play TDM, the map Betrayal of the Courtyard and Tournament Grounds have a lot of places where you could get bread.

There is 2 particular maps that is called "Cathedral" and "The Great Hall" where you use map props to fight, both maps have much more bread places compared to TDM maps. Though, I do not know if these map will interact with the achievement properly.

  • tip 1: To ensure a bread kill, knock down your enemies first then throw bread at them. If you're doing it in offline gamemode, a single light attack and bread throw will do the trick. (bots have roughly 70 HP, bread will do 30 damage if it hits the body)

  • tip 2: Make sure to do aim labs first for that sick headshot!
Long range menace
This achievement needs you to kill an enemy over 100 meters (the range could be seen after you succeed in killing an enemy). The easiest to obtain this achievement is playing as the attacker in Lionspire with a warbow due to its range and damage. The location could be seen below.

(Stage 4 of the map)

I advise to do this one in offline gamemode due to the fact that you are more likely grief and damage your allies in multiplayer.

  • tip 1: (patch 5.2.3) Despite the achievement saying "kill an enemy", killing an ally will also counts (in offline gamemode, at least). making your chances doubled.

  • tip 2: Pressing your scroll wheel will make you see the arrow POV, this way you could adjust your aim and prediction much better than before.

  • tip 3: If you haven't unlock the war bow yet, you could use the shuffle function in class select. This way you could spawn into a random class with a weapon that you haven't unlock yet. Though this method needs luck to get a longbowman wielding a warbow.
Bring out the big guns
The achievement needs you to kill 50 enemies in total with siege weapons. As of patch 5.2.3, there's only catapults and ballista. The easiest to use being the ballista while catapults give the benefit of multi kills.

The fastest map to do this achievement is playing in Lionspire, due to the fact that there are a total of 2 catapults and 2 ballistas that could be used in the first stage, additionally theres 1 more ballista when the gate is broken.

there should be a pic here, but it got corrupted(Red circles are catapults, blue circle is ballista)

(Ballista for defender's side)

(Ballista in the 3rd stage)

  • tip : for catapults, the range is determined on how long you charge the bar.
Brave brave sir robin
This achievement is known to be bugged by the community as of patch 5.2.3

I recommend heavily for you to do this in offline mode, because by my personal experience I have gained 50+ kills twice in multiplayer and it didn't get detected by the system. It hurts man.

There are 2 methods for this that i recommend.

1. Playing FFA in offline mode with 50 kills settings (do note, this one didn't work for me. But, I've seen people succeed in getting the achievement this way."

2. Play team objective map, i recommend lionspire for this one because bots are less likely to have movement problems. This worked for me, though i got the achievement after a whopping 105 kills!

First is to play as attacker to get early kills, switch to defenders to hold out until the timer is low, when that's done switch back to attackers to do the objective. Do that repeatedly until you are on the "banner on the walls" stage, then use your best cleave weapon as defenders.
Afterwords
Thank you for visiting this guide, this is my first guide that i wrote. Hopefully there's little flaws here and there.
