• Grinding for the potion provides a unique goal outside of standard gear upgrade progression.
  
• The potion can be used with a Fairy's auto potion use for infinite automated potion use
  
• Ornette's Spirit Essence is made up of 3 grinded pieces and 2 crafted pieces which are combined.
  
• The grinded pieces can be a one time drop or obtained through a pity system.

Ornette's Spirit Essence - The Infinite HP potion estores the same values an Instant HP Potion (Extra Large).

Generally, grinding for treasure items in Black Desert is considered a long term goal. The individual potion piece drops are called "Ancient" pieces. The pieces can also be obtained through crafting using more common, consistent drops.

Both will drop from the necessary grinding spots, so there will always be an RNG chance to skip grinding all of the pity pieces but the pity pieces allow for more consistent progress. Afaru also has a chance to drop the potion items.

In order to create the Infinite HP potion, five items are needed in total. Three items are potion pieces that must be grinded for.

Sherekhan's Panacea - Obtained from grinding Sherekhan Necropolis.


Ron's Tintinnabulum - Obtained from grinding Forest Ronaros.


Ash Halfmoon Kagtunak - Obtained from grinding Blood Wolf Settlement.


After all three pieces have been obtained, show them to NPC Merindora in Grana then you are able to gather the remaining two items from the following NPCs.

Musical Spirit's Sound Stone - Exchange Peridot Leaf x300 to NPC Moyamo (Okiara River node manager) obtain the item.


Gayak's Courage Stone - Exchange Garmoth's Scale x30 to NPC Camira (Sherekhan Necropolis node manager) to obtain the item.


When all five items are obtained, they can be arranged in your Yaz's pouch inventory as a '+' shape. This way you can combine all of the items at once to form the potion.



However there is an alternate method that allows you to create smaller infinite potions that scale up with every grinded piece you obtain, which may be more beneficial.

When you have obtained one of these potion pieces, you may take one of them to NPC Merindora in Grana. When chatting to her, she will give you Everlasting Water.

Everlasting Water - Can then be combined in a '-' shape in your inventory with any of the three potion pieces to form an Infinite HP potion that heals a lesser amount.



This method also works with the "Ancient" potion pieces as well, you will simply receive Ancient Blessed Spirit Essence instead.

As mentioned, while grinding for potion pieces, pity pieces will drop at a fairly consistent rate as a way to allow constant progress in obtaining the potion pieces.

Once you obtain 100 Pity pieces, they can be taken to NPC Merindora in Grana. She will award you with an item which you can combine with your 100 Pity pieces to create a potion piece. To combine the Pity pieces and the item from NPC Merindora, use Simple alchemy.


If you have already obtained some, but not all, of the potion pieces before the Pity system was added, they will have been changed to "Ancient" pieces. "Ancient" Pieces cannot combine with pieces that aren't considered "Ancient".

Ancient pieces are potion pieces that drop as a single drop, they can be taken to NPC Merindora in Grana and use the “Exchange” option below:

Below is the location of NPC Merindora, you can speak to her to convert ancient pieces like mentioned above. You must also show her all 3 potion pieces before you are able to exchange items for the Musical Spirit's Sound Stone and the Gayak's Courage Stone.



After showing NPC Merindora all three potion pieces, you can visit NPC Moyamo (Okiara River node manager) at the location below and exchange Peridot Leaf x300 to obtain Musical Spirit's Sound Stone.



Finally is NPC Camira, who can exchange Garmoth's Scale x30 for Gayak's Courage Stone.

Sherekhan's Panacea - can be obtained from Sherekhan Necropolis. It can either be gained through the pity pieces as mentioned or as an "Ancient" item drop.

Sherekhan Necropolis is a grind spot with a unique mechanic, during the day the area will spawn different mobs to those it spawns during the night.

The following mobs can drop Sherekhan's Panacea:

• Garud (at day)
  
• Belcadas (at day)
  
• Lateh (at night )
  
• Belcadas (at night)
  
• Nybrica (at night)
  
• Garud (at night)
  
• Federik (at night)
  
• Sherekhan Guardian Spirit.

Sherekhan Necropolis drops the Dragon's Fang pity piece as well as Dragon Scale Fossil and Garmoth's Scale(s).

If you're grinding here, be sure to keep both of those items when you're grinding here as they'll be needed for the exchange pieces.

The Dragon Scale Fossil are also used for an exchange for one of the Infinite MP potion pieces, so consider saving extra if you intend to make the Infinite MP Potion as well, though they can also be obtained from the marketplace.

Ron's Tintinnabulum - Can be obtained from grinding Forest Ronaros. Once again the item can drop as a one time "Ancient" item or be gained through exchaning pity pieces.

The Forest Ronaros Guardian and Forest Ronaros Catcher can drop Ron's Tintinnabulum Potion piece along with the Pity pieces, Tranquil Tinniolum.

If you would like to go for the Infinite MP potion, this area also drops Rumbling Earth Shard(s) which are used an exchange item for one of the MP potion pieces.

Ash Halfmoon Kagtunak - Can be obtained from grinding Blood Wolf Settlement. As with the other pieces, you can obtain this through a single "Ancient" drop or be gained through pity piece exchange.

The mobs known to drop the potion piece are Kagtum Guard and Kagtum Executioner, they also drop the Pity pieces, Blood Wolf's Oath and Garmoth's Scale(s) which can be useful to keep for the exchangable pieces.

To help you make progress a little bit faster, there are weekly quests based around grinding the zones that usually drop potion pieces.
You may only choose one of the six Pity piece quests, there are three different weekly quests for HP potion pity pieces and three for MP potion pity pieces. Here are the quests:


The quests are simple kill quests and don't require any extra work than you might already be doing if you're grinding for your potion pieces.

Once you have an Ornette's Spirit Essence or Odore's Spirit Essence in your inventory you can visit NPC Merindora in Grana, she will have a quest for you in which you will be able to gain a title for earning your Infinite HP Potion.

The quest will be named either "Herald of Dawn I" or "Herald of Dusk I" depending on if you have Ornette's Spirit Essence or Odore's Spirit Essence respectively.

This will grant you the Blue version of the title [Herald of Dawn] or [Herald of Dusk]. Dawn relates to the HP potion and Dusk relates to the MP potion.

Adventurers who have previously completed creation of the Infinite Potions before the pity pieces were added, gained the option of an additional yellow version of the title [Herald of Dawn] or [Herald of Dusk] titles.

Due to player feedback, the ability to add the Infinite HP & MP potion to the family inventory has been added, this means that players no longer have to farm multiple copies of the item.

Since this feature has been added, additional potions can now be placed on the Central Market place for silver.

Atanis Element is an exchangable item that can be exchanged for pity pieces of any infinite potion at a 1 to 1 ratio.

This allows more grind spots to be used, or for the you to obtain pity pieces in a different method. Here is where you can obtain the Atanis' Element:
