All potions requirement to rank up friendship to rank 10 must be rank superior or higher. Please keep that in mind!
Oswald

  • No potion requirement. Just story progression.

Cards

  • Scheme - 2 Patience. Draw 3 cards.

  • Two Is Better Than One - 1 Patience. Choose a card in your hand to duplicate. The duplicate is put into your deck and lasts until the end of current haggle session.

  • Barrage - 2 Patience. Raise interest by 2 for every card in your hand.

  • Mulligan - 1 Patience. Discard entire hand. Draw a new card for each card discarded. (Including stress cards.)

  • Rattle 'Em Off - 3 Patience. Apply "Fluidity" for 1 turn.
    > (Sylvia buff) (Fluidity makes you draw 1 more card each time you play a card.)

  • Hustle - Closer. Raise Interest by 8 and close sale. If interest is maxed by this card, increase final price of potion by 15%.

  • Take It or Leave It - Closer. Raises Interest to next level. Effect ignores customer shield. and Closes sale.

  • Regulated Breathing - 1 Patience. Reduce stress by 1 at the start of each turn. Lasts until the end of the current haggling session. This effect can be stacked by playing more this card.

  • Serenity of Mind - 2 Patience. Draw 5 cards. Can only be played if stress level is less than 20%.

  • Tranquility - 1 Patience. Discard all stress cards from your hand. Effects do not trigger. Decrease stress by 5 for each discarded.

  • Caffeine Rush - 1 Patience. Discard up to 2 stress cards from your hand. Increase stress by 3.

  • Dig Deep - 3 Patience. Increase stress by 5. Then raise interest by 5 for every 4 points of current stress level.

  • Subliminal Messaging - 2 Patience. Apply "Subliminal Suggestion" for 3 turns.

  • Final Push - Closer. Raise Interest by 12 for each current level of Interest. Close sale.

  • Rhythm - 2 Patience. Apply "Prepared Rhythm".

  • Throat Spray - 2 Patience. Remove a random debuff from Sylvia and decrease stress by 3. Can only be played as opener.

  • Catchy Tune - 2 Patience. Raise interest by the most recent raised interest amount.

  • Encore - 0 Patience. Increase patience by 4. Can only be played if patience is currently 1.
Extra
Random tips
  • You obtain their #1 coupon on rank 4. #2 coupon on rank 8.

  • Luna is unlock on day 13 while Xid can be unlock on day 13 if you have the greater mana point ready,

  • Corsac unlock on day 22.

  • You can buy slimes starting day 22 with Corsac. In total you need 4,700 if you're planning to buy all at once. You get A slime for free. B slime = 300, C slime = 700, D slime = 1,200, E slime 2,500.

  • Leveling everyone to rank 10 might be hard if you have already surpass day 40 depending on how much progress you made.

  • Make multiple save file or each time in the day you use. It's in case if you encounter a bug or mess something up. Especially if you get bad rng on haggling session.

  • Feed the slimes pure mana to duplicate them as gift as a fast way to rank them up.

  • Rush slimes if you can. Free duping expensive ingredients. Definitely worth it. If you want quick way to get a lot of ingredients, feed the slime with pure essence and feed the essence to it again until the return diminishes. Then just put whatever color ingredient you want to the specific slime and stuff it with essence you duped.

  • Recommend to gift everyone a gift whenever you go out. Even if it's not their "favorite" and only "like" would still help so you don't have to hang out and waste too much time in your day. But if you need to reduce stress by hanging out, do it with a character you want a card of.

  • After day 40, money isn't really needed if you already have all the ingredients you needed. Focus on making their required potions.

  • You might not even need to upgrade your cauldron or barrel for the final boss if you have reach 3 star masterwork for them. Just putting them in 15% barrel would probably be fine. Especially if your potion has a lot of good traits. (I beaten the game without upgrading anything cause I have extremely bad luck when it comes to getting a specific item I need lol.)


Competition/Haggling Session
  • Highly recommend to put Mint's "Fortitude" card in your deck along with some draw cards for the final boss. It makes it extremely easy. Corsac "Pivot" with a lot of draw cards build works too.

  • Recommended to use Baptiste "Compromise" and "Strategic Withdrawal" for competition because there's no way you're getting max interest before running out of patience or meeting the price requirement.

  • Recommended Xid chorus build on literally anything especially once you get the "Improv" card or just draw more cards one.

  • I don't recommend using Luna stress build for the final boss. You'll get over stress super quickly.

  • Quinn closer aren't really good. Better off using Roxanne/Salt and Pepper/Luna closer.

  • Just don't do Luna stress build unless you ran out of options on competition. It's not worth the stress carried over the next day/haggling session.

  • Saffron "Requlated Breathing". Corsac "Ferocity of the Squirrel" "Serenity of the Mollusk" "Mind of the Slime" will sometimes carry over to another haggling session. If you use them during the competition or before you close your shop and reload before you lose. The effect may carry over to the reloaded save file. (I'm pretty sure these are a bug, I don't know when this will be patched.) (You can stack "Requlated Breathing" over save file.)

@Karmic Justice Yeah, tbh. I like using Pivot too just because it cost 0 patience + it does well with Xid deck. It's not worth ranking up Corsac that high most of the time though. If you're already that high with Saffron just max her out to get Tranquility to completely let go the need of shield.

I am of the opinion that if your haggle sessions go longer than 5 sold potions, the stacking effect of "Regulated Breathing" basically invalidates any need for cards that grant you shield. Since the stress reduction happens before you draw cards, you will often begin each turn with "most" customer-induced stress wiped clean away, and no risk of stress cards. Best used in conjunction with Rhythm/Chorus/Improv decks.

I found out that interest-over-turn card's effect triggers before patience reduction when you end the turn. If their interest level maxes out by the debuff from those cards, then even if ending turn makes patience less then zero, they will take the potion.

@oeso0621 Yeahhh there's definitely some balancing issues. I only ever get to use Luna centered deck once in my first play through for FInn because I was struggling BADLY. I mean I won because of it but it's not really reliable when all you draw is stress card afterwards. Not to mention you have to deal with high stress for the next day.

Yeah Saffron and Xid just has some of best cards in the entire game no doubt. Combine Rhythm and Chorus with any draws cards is almost automatic win unless you're very unlucky or high stress.

And all of the interest-over-turn cards are not recommended. Opening Act might have uses because it prevents customers from shielding themselves, and gives cost reduction, but others.... JUST DONT. Dealing interest now is always better.

And all of the stress scaling cards from Luna is just... NOPE. There is no way to deal with penalties reliably.

To be honest, Saffron's Rank 9 should be "Search a card from your deck, and draw it. Stress must be below 5% to play this card. Cost 2"
And Luna's Caffeine Rush should be "Draw 5 cards. All stress cards drawn by this card discarded without triggering its effect. Must be over or equal to 20% stress to play this card. Cost 2."

Saffron still has one of the most powerful drawing card with heavy restriction, And Luna has one of the best high risk high return card, Not only her decks are more reliable, but also due to how stress works in the game, 5 draw only happens when you are lucky, mostly, you will draw 4 or 3.

@oeso0621 Oh the Saffron one sound hilarious! I didn't get to use it since I went into the final with 12% stress and wasn't taking the risk lol. Yeah the fuel to the fire I think they acknowledge the bug in the patch so it might get fixed soon??
