This guide is coming from an arcade gamer who has played many arcade games...including Ridge Racer!

...and since the developers wanna be ♥♥♥♥♥ and not explain anything, I'll do the honors!

For starters, learn to drift. The easiest way is to play this like an arcade racer (Ridge Racer). Use buttons for accelerate, brake and handbrake...not triggers. When going into a hard turn, just tap the accelerate button to start drifting. On some sharper turns, you may have to start a normal drift and then push the handbrake button to turn sharper.

Xbox Controls:
A-Accelerate
X-Brake
B-Handbrake
RT-Boost

PlayStation Controls:
Cross-Accelerate
Square-Brake
Circle-Handbrake
R2-Boost

Next set the difficulty to Easy! It's in the "Settings" menu.

Next, during the campaign (Tournament), get first in every event. If you pick or customize the right vehicle, this will be a piece of cake!

The problem is when you get so far in the campaign, you will get stuck in 4 elimination events with a terrible car. The best way around this is to go back and beat all of the old events in first. Then you will unlock another car for those events and you will also have to customize it to high drift and high speed. The issue is that the events will say you passed, but not show what position or trophy you placed. You have to place 1st in all of the races.

Just follow the tips above and you should beat this game in no time!
