[Medic] A note to brothers in arms
By Absolute Unit
Good evening.

During some recent period of time what I've noticed, players experiencing some problems in this game, such as lack of communication and understanding principles of the game. Those are new players, as well as an experienced one. Especially when it comes to cooperation with Medic. Worth to say, I played with dozens of great people, who are diving into roleplay, behaving good and professional on the battlefield and doing what they have to do according to their selected role.

So here are my few words to those who can improve their understanding and become better teammate.

Medic is there for you.
Yes. There are good and bad people. Good and bad medics. People with lack of experience or maybe they just had tough day and they didn't pay attention to your asks for help. I know you might have a bad day too. Still, give medic a chance to revive you. If you can wait those 30 seconds while guy with morphine tries to reach to you under the artillery strike - do it. Yes, he might die. But at least he tried and you let him. That means a lot. Don't surrender when you see friendly medic is 30/20/10 meters away from you. Some cases I've had - people surrender when I was 2 meters away from them running 70 meters just to witness final breath of a fellow Rifleman. It's really demotivates whose who are trying to do their job and save YOU guys on the battlefield.

You perfectly know - Hell Let Loose is not that fast. Aspire the teamplay, communication and battle spirit.

Together we stand - divided we fall.

My advice is: Don't play medic if you find it frustrating. I'm not really here to roleplay and medics as they are implemented in the game right now are borderline useless apart from very few situations Respawning is almost always faster and also i don't have some random element to it that i can't control like the medic dying on his way to me, running by me or just turning around halfway. You don't get to tell me how long i have to lay on the ground waiting.
As long as they don't add some mechanic that punishes dying in some way, the medic class will alyways be just an afterthought.

I usually tell downed soldiers that are over 50m away from me to respawn. They can usually get back into the game quicker than it will take me to reach them unless it happens to be an open plain or I know the site is clear. 80m and over just isn't worth it, unless it happens to be someone trying to build a garrison. :health:

Also, to my fellow medics: Revive first, bandage later. I`ve seen too many fellow medics focusing on one patient at a time, while having 2-3 other dying soldiers less than 10 meters away from them. :stress:
They won't bleed out anytime soon. Get the rest of them up! :metal_slime:

Ironically, the presence of medics often counters their role. If a medic is within 20m of 5 downed players, and those players wait for the medic, the medic's going to take a while to get those players back up. But he's not guaranteed to try, and he's not guaranteed to survive. If those 5 players wait the 30 seconds you're asking for and the medic dies or abandons them, they've missed a spawn wave, and the team has spent longer without those players because the medic existed.

If you're on a deep push, or you know your medic is going to, as quickly as possible, either get you up or die trying, it can still make sense to wait. But by default, unless a medic is 5 meters away and moving toward me, I'm giving up. My time has been wasted by too many medics who aren't interested in committing to their role.

And if you're playing medic, you better be sticking morphine in every single person you get near. Because you've got an "aura" that effectively slows the respawn timer of your teammates.

Im releasing 8 times out of 10 because respawning is usually better than a rez. Medic it's almost useless. Not sorry.

Medic was the first class I'v ever mastered and I agree perfectly I have gotten to the point where I will have to debate to myself if someone is worth saving and if they might just quit on me.
If you are a actually good medic then you know how painful it is to have let someone die.
So can yall PLEASE not give up when a medic is near it hurts out souls.

Things sure are bad - I blame the devs as "this is too hard lets make it easier" ALWAYS has this effect, every single game that takes coop goes down the drain when you cater for the crowd who just wants fast paced action and finds dropping 50 "hard"
