Yeah that makes sense, I've always thought the Defender gets to "play" first. But it says "A" on your Feint card there, indicating King Arthur's Feint Attack should be played first. Weird...

Because if two cancel effects are played in the same fight, the one that defender has, works first.
That is why you canceled my cancel, so your second effect works as well
