Call me crazy, but I think the most effective weapon against Tiger Bugs is high caliber guns like the Morita Hawkeye. Seems like they take more than a clip of rockets. In the Terran Command RTS Tiger Bugs have resistance to flamethrowers and explosions, I wonder if the same thing is going on here.

some bugs, when killed, stayed on the map and turn white over time. you will find it more often with higher graphic settings
