Stormtrooper Guide

"As an Imperial Stormtrooper, your superior gear and numbers should make surviving until the morning's extraction a trivial concern."

Stay together
This hint is well known by most of the players, however it's still one of the most important things. There is a huge difference between a group of 2 or 3 stormtroopers. Every single Stormtrooper is important.
This is a Stormtrooper vs Ewoks game
This hint is similar to the previous one. Always keep in mind that every killed Stormtrooper becomes an Ewok, who will later eventually try to kill you. Try to help others as much as you can, this isn't a competition between Stormtroopers which is won by whoever has the best Score.
THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT MAPS
For most of you this hint might sound silly but not everyone knows there are 2 maps (Ewok Village and Research Station 9). Each map has it's own locations so it's important to know what map you are currently playing.
Try to find weapon caches and crates
This hint isn't anything special, just try to find the weapon caches and crates that are lying around the map. The weapon caches replace your E-11 with a DLT-19 which has greater firepower and a flashlight with unlimited battery but also a longer reload. Also you get an Incendiary Grenade that provides light and damages Ewoks that touch the fire caused by the grenade. The crates contain a Transmission Signal which reduces the time the shuttle needs to arrive by around 10 seconds. Try to remember the spots where they can be found, however be CAREFUL as they aren't always at the same place.
Watch out for Ewok Traps
Ewok Traps can become very annoying if you don't know how to handle them. Each Ewok Trap does 150 damage of which only 50 regenerates meaning you lose 100 Health points permanent. There are 2 ways to locate them:
1.The simpler method is sometimes watching up. If you see a network hanging - be careful.
2.The harder method is by carefully looking at the road. If you see a rope - be careful.
Also try to remember where the Ewok Traps are.
You may shoot to attract other stormtroopers
It's as simple as the title says, you can attract other stormtroopers by shooting, however be careful as you may also attract some unwanted visitors. It's only recommended to do this when you're at a safe place with some other Stormtroopers, the Ewoks already found you anyway or someone is running near without noticing you.
Keep your health high.
It's very simple, just try to keep your health high. The higher your health the lower the chances an Ewok attack will kill you. Be careful as your health only regenerates 50 of the health points you lost.
Roll away from Ewoks' Wisties Pouches.
The Wisties Pouches don't affect the roll speed so a few rolls back should you get out of range without losing too much health points.

Get to a safe place
One of the most important things in Ewok Hunt is to get to a safe place. Here is a table how safe what places are:

The imperial station in the south

As you see in the table, it's much easier to survive in Research Station 9 than in Ewok Village, as it has more open areas. 3 players at the imperial station are enough to make them very hard to kill and 5 or more Stormtroopers make it practically impossible unless there are 5+ Ewoks who spam Wisties Pouches or Stormtroopers who make mistakes. There are also some weapon caches near. Which make the imperial station the best camping spot (At the paved area in the north are only 1-2 weapon caches which lie a bit away from the area itself) and Research Station 9 the better map for surviving.
Don't roll away from the Wisties Pouches' center. Roll away from the place they came from.
Else you will safe 40 Health Points by rolling away from the Wisties Pouches faster and lose 100 Health Points because of a Teddy bear.
Watch out for red points on the minimap
There are 2 reasons why you should do this. The first one is your own safety. Sometimes there might be an Ewok spotted by another Stormtrooper right behind you. The second reason is that it might help you finding other Stormtroopers. If you see an Ewok in the minimap which isn't spotted by you, run there and you will find another Stormtrooper (or a corpse). Sometimes it can also happen that you spot an Ewok but you don't physically see him, because of grass for example. Watch at the minimap where the red point, go to the place and melee attack the Ewok.
Use the melee attack
The melee attack is a pretty weak attack in modes like Supremacy or Galactic Assault, that's why not many players know about it. However in Ewok Hunt in can become SUPER powerful sometimes. 1-2 hits are usually enough to kill an Ewok, also it doesn't need a reload and always hits the enemy, even if you are not pointing at him. Press v to melee attack.

Strategy questions and answers:

Q: I have the decision: Go to the left to some other Stormtroopers or go to the right to a weapon cache:
A: Depends on your choice. I personally would go to the weapon cache and then run to the direction the Stormtroopers were (the actual answer is both >:)). However make sure the weapon cache isn't empty or your actions were for nothing.
Q: I am the last Stormtrooper. What should I do?:
A: Depends on the map. On Ewok Village this usually means death :´( Your only chances to survive is to hide in a corner without lights and watch out for Ewoks (without lights because some Ewoks will try to make a surprise attack then). On Research Station 9 try to get to the imperial station and then also hide in a corner. After the message of the shuttle coming you it depends on how far the extraction point is.
If it is very far away, continue hiding, you will survive so at least.
If the distance is medium, wait a bit and then run without stopping. Only stop once, before the shuttle and throw a grenade if you have one, so the Ewoks at least won't be able to melee attack you, however the chances of surviving are very low.
If the distance is short wait until the shuttle is very near then run, throw a grenade and board the ship. You have to be lucky to survive.

Follow other Ewoks if you don't see any Stormtroopers
Sometimes you won't see any Stormtroopers on your minimap. If you see another Ewok who looks like he knows where he is going and don't know where to find any Stormtroopers, follow that Ewok. It's likely he will lead you to some Stormtroopers.
Don't completely rely on Hunter's instincts
The Hunter's instincts ability is the Ewoks main ability, however you shouldn't completely rely on it because of the poor range it has. Also watch out for flashlights, explosions and blaster sounds.
Know your enemy
When you want to attack an Stormtrooper, first look at him a bit closer. If his weapon is a bit longer than usual, it means that he has taken the DLT-19 from a weapon cache which makes him a lot more dangerous. Also watch if he has full health as it might help you create your attack plan.
The Wisties Pouches are your main weapon. Use them wisely.
The Wisties Pouches are your main weapon, however they have a very long cooldown. It's better to save them for later than shooting from a far distance at a lonely Stormtrooper.
Make surprise attacks.
When there are 2 or less Stormtroopers, you may make a surprise attack. This means not throwing Wisties Pouches at all, not using the Valiant Horn and attack the Stormtrooper(s) from the back. Before they realize they got attacked, they are usually already dead.
The valiant horn
The valiant horn is usually useless. You should only use it when an Ewok mass attack happens. Then first hide behind a stone or something, blow the horn and attack the nearest Stormtrooper
Throw Wisties Pouches a bit farther than the Stormtrooper is
If you do, there are 2 things that can happen:
1.The Stormtrooper is an experienced player and rolls away from the direction you are. However then he has to roll through their center which will cause the Wisties Pouches to deal more damage.
2. The Stormtrooper isn't an experienced player and runs away from the Wisties Pouches' center in your hands, which usually means an easy kill.
Attack Stormtroopers with low health
If you are in a mass attack for example and you have the choice between attacking a red and a yellow player, attack the red one. One alive and one dead Stormtrooper are less dangerous than two injured.
Follow Footprints
Hunter's Instincts doesn't only highlights and shows Stormtroopers, it also shows their footprints. If you are having problems with finding Stormtroopers, watch out for footprints as they can help you. However you sometimes have to guess the direction the Stormtrooper(s) went.
Use Ewok huts
The Ewok huts can transport an Ewok to an tree house. Use them to your advantage. You may use them when you are under fire and need to escape quickly for example.

Use Ewok traps to your advantage
If you see a Stormtrooper running in the direction an Ewok trap is, wait until the Ewok Trap activates. At this moment the Stormtrooper has only 50 health, so try to kill him before he regenerates. Sometimes Wisties Pouches will be able to kill the Stormtrooper without the help of a spear.
Camp safe spots at the beginning of the game
At the beginning of the game most Stormtroopers will try to get to a safe place. If you camp one, there are chances the Stormtrooper will get into your hands, which is an easy kill.
You make more damage from the back
Not everyone knows this but you make more damage when attacking Stormtroopers from the back. From front you deal only 20 damage while attacking from the back deals 40 damage. A stormtrooper with full health has 200 Health points, so 5 hits from the back are enough to kill any Stormtrooper.
You are able to kill Stormtroopers with one hit

Ewok Guide: Q&A

I have the choice between going to a group of 4 or 1 Stormtrooper:
The answer is simple, go to the lonely one. To make progress you have to kill Stormtroopers and it's much easier to kill a lonely one than a group.
When should I try to attack Stormtroopers?
When there are 3 or less Stormtroopers, always, however if there are more, it depends on the place. If it is a unsafe place for Stormtroopers it's usually still worth trying, however if it's a safe place you should only attack in the case of a mass attack. Else better just try to deal as much damage as possible with Wisties Pouches.

I found a way to get atop of the station in Ewok Hunt Research Station 9, and I was wondering if there were any tips on getting atop of the station again. I was only able to get on top once. I want to try again. I already have a friend to help me, but I am wondering if there are any easier ways to get atop of the station because I am having some difficulties.
