(video of all loading screens without text)

Small note before i start this section: originally i was gonna speedrun through the campaign of postal for screenshots of the loading screen. so i started up Home, pressed f12 for the screenshot and postal registers this as a key press, so the level starts. i can still screenshot, but the screen is just empty with the UI for your Heatlth, Ammo, Armor and Weapons.
i can reccomend you to watch the video linked above in this section for all loading screens.

Postal is by far, along with Postal Redux, the most grimm and dark game in the Postal Series.
for most people who played Postal 1 before, its just a game about The Postal Dude (thats his actual name) going Postal and killing everything in his path. I however, along with many others, see an actual story in this game. lets look at the Level Entries first:

Note: when reading the date, its noted in m/d/y (month/day/year) instead of d/m/y (day/month/year)

as you have realised by now, Dude is probably bringing a diary on his crusade.
His crusade in Paradise lasts for 7 days, multiple missions a day. this is wierd, isnt it? doenst he need to sleep? take breaks from all that walking? why is this?
one of the main arguments is that if he takes time for resting or a break, the cops will catch him and his crusade ends. but i have a different idea of why this crusade lasts so short.

Did you know that The Dude has 2 voice actors? both Vince Desi, and Rick Hunter voice the dude in Postal 1. even though you will probably not notice this at first, in the files the 2 are credited differently. Vince is just marked pretty normally, but Rick however is marked as /Demon.
keep that one in mind.

Although Postals campaing ends after Airforce base, i think his crusade lasted longer. later in the Dudes crusade, he finds himself in Tokyo, wich is all the way in Japan. since Paradise, the hometown of Dude, is in America this is extremely interesting. in the game, we never see Dude take a break, rest or take a vehicle of any kind for transport, he just walks at all times and runs in combat. it took him 2 years to get there, but all of that without a single break and on foot... thats not human

finally, Dude goes to far, he goes to the most grimm place in this whole game, The Elementary School. in this cutscene, Dude walks to the school with the intend of shooting it up, luckely for us nothing he does works. the kids are safe and Dude breaks down. he loses his mind and gets captured, his crusade finnally ending.

we get an ending sequence with another cutscene and dialogue, this is what is said:
Population pressure and the stress of modern life may cause an increase in violent tendencies.
The urban environment is the incubator for all sorts of undesirable behaviors.
However, much his atrocities disgust us, he may actually consider himself a hero.
This is common among those who are referred to by the popular slang, "Going Postal".
In his tortured mind, he may feel he was battling against impossible odds.
It is not unusual for some individuals to believe that the entire fate of the world rest with them.
In the end, our subject displays all the classic symptoms of a paranoid delusional.
We may never know exactly what set him off but, rest assured, we will have plenty of time to study him.

So, it turns out The Dude is a delusional person. looking at how he is described, he is probably suffering from Schizophrenia.

i dont buy this tho, not fully. it explains why he would act out like this, but that doesnt explain the strength he has to take no breaks for 7 days, walk for more than 3 years and why he would consider himself a "Hero".

Story from Postal Redux
Postal Redux is the remake of Postal 1. eventhough it is a remake, Redux offers the most information on The Dude out of the games. this game has 2 things changed from the original: a new level, The Carnival, and new level entries for the Hard and Nightmare Difficulty. this new info is really important for the lore. The loading screens also got changed, there now in a better quality and have better effects.
the ending is also changed, but not because of what is depicted. not fully atleast.
this quote is from Jon Merchant, Producer and Designer: "The whole idea of the origina ending no longer applies anyway - it was supposed to depict something that, at the time, would have been completely unthinkable, and out of touch with reality. Tragically the sad truth is that, in today's world, it is no longer an unthinkable nightmare but a very depressing reality."
eventhough the ending is now changed, the original is still important for The Dude, but we will come back to that later.

now, lets see the new Level entries:

Home
Diary: Moving to "Paradise" was a tragic mistake. People here are... sick. I hear gunshots, screams after dark. Now the phone calls, sayin' I'm being thrown outta this house. MY house. Wearing kevlar vest and carrying a sidearm at all times now.

The Truckstop
Diary: Worst fears confirmed. Group of lunatics tried to invade my home. Must get to truckstop and Sherrif, see if anyone there can help me. Afraid only God can help me now...

The Outskirsts
Diary: Like animals- even the Sherrif! Everyone here is infected with something. Something in the air, or water. Don't know. Maybe from Air Force Base? Hope not- That base may turn out to be my last hope...

Parade of Disasters
Diary: Must face the possibility that I am only uninfected person in Paradise. Air force must napalm entire town... ensure this madness doesn't contaminate rest of country! Wait! I hear... music? Damn! It IS music! Better chck this out...

The Bridge
War Journal: It's war now. That "parade" of murderous maniacs marching down the middle of Main St. was... sobering. Everyone here is Mad, sick... Must attempt to cross the bridge, lose myself in the mines....

The Mine
War Journal: Didn't think I'd make it. Sitting duck on bridge. Must work my way through these caverns... they open into junkyard on far side of town... eitherway, I'll have the advantage in these narrow mines!

The Junkyard
War Journal: Crossed the bridge, successfully navigated the underground mines and have emerged into salvage yard. Am now straight in MY mind about what I have to do and will do it as efficiently and remorselessly as possible..

The Trailerpark
War Journal: There MUST be others like me- immune to this germ warfare or whatever it is. Approaching trailer park. Maybe some sane people there. Can't get hopes up, but must not despair either.

The Train Station
War Journal: Drenched in blood- mine, others. Could I be infected too? Up ahead... train station. If I can get out, I can warn them. Yes. Then I can warn everybody.

The Farm
War Journal: Looks like a farm. Birds? OSTRICHES? Good Lord, am I infected, mad like the others? Must move efficiently. Got to get this dirty job done. Let feathers fly!

The Construction Site
War Journal: Blood everywhere. Like a river, flowing around me, puling me in its wake like a helpless child. It's all got to go now. The whole town. Prepare for... deconstruction!

The Ghetto
Diary: My head... pounding. Must work way towards Air Force Base. Coming to a "bad" section of town... Better be... careful... Might get mugged...

The City
War Journal: Keep wondering about the Base. If I run into a flyboy, it's God's guarantee he'll try to put a cap in me, figure I'm infected. Oh, hell, I'm gonna die once I hit the city anyhow...

The Carnival
War Journal: Unfamiliar bright lights dot the horizon. As I draw closer, the wind carries distant screams. Of joy? Of terror? Is there any difference anymore?

Central Park
War Journal: Taking too many hits... Getting weak... See green up ahead- maybe a forest? Probably a park. Can't go backwards- nothing back there but death. Keep moving, soldier...

The Industrial Complex
War Journal: The Industrial Complex is the last obstacle between me and the Base. Too far to quit now. Whatever waits at the Base, I'm going to see it with my own eyes.

Air Force Base
War Journal: This is it. The new Alamo. Me or them. Can't delay, can't risk infection. C'mon, grunt, let's Rock and Roll.....

EZ Mart
War Journal: I woke up from the strangest dream this morning. My head is pounding. who came in here and moved around all my furniture? I'd better go find out...

Shanty Town
War Journal: The veterans of many wars fill these slums. I'll bring my own war with me.

Earthquake
War Journal: The earth trembles below my feet. Just how long has this crusade gone on for? Months? Years? Decades?

La Palamino Resort
War Journal: I grow weary from this struggle, but there's no time to rest. Not for me, and not for others.

Tokyo
War Journal: In the blink of an eye, I find myself across the globe. Fate has brought me here, and I will answer it's call.

Osaka
War Journal: Is it too late? Could it have spread this far? It may be hopeless, but i will not waiver. I will continue this fight. It's all i have left.

The End
Diary: I've been here before. I know it. But... Something's changed. Will they understand me? Forgive me? Is this where I find salvation?

with these new Entries we get to know more about why The Dude became this way.
Dude probably left his previous home and went to Paridise to get away from the struggles in life. Paradise isnt much better however. he becomes scared because of the violence in his neighbourhood. he hears screams after dark, gun shots and more. and as a cherry on top of this cake, he gets told over the phone he will be evicted soon. he is so worried, he buys an Ar-15 and a Kevelar vest.
interesting side note, but Dude uses a moddified MP5 without a stock and changed barrel instead of an AR-15.

Dude gets out of his neighbourhood, gunning down all hostiles in his path. his mental state gets worse after a group of "lunatics" tries to break into his house. he is worried that there is a virus going around making people act like they do. his plan is to get to the Sherrif for help. sadly, the Sherrif is also gone "mad". The dude now needs to fight for himself. he wonders if this virus is from the Air Force Base, an important place wich is probably his last place for help since its guarded by the army. his crusade starts. When he comes to the bridge, his war starts. all journal entries now are marked as War Journal instead of Diary. everywhere Dude goes, he leaves destruction and death.
eventually, when getting to the map The Ghetto his diary entry shifts from War Journal back to Diary. its noted his head is pounding, keep this detail in mind since its gonne be important soon.

After his crusade stops at the Base, he blacks out.
he wakes up in a new place, a new appartment.

After exploring the area, he walks into a mart. people realise who he is and Dudes crusade starts again.
after the Palamino Resort, Dude probably blacks out again and he finds himself in Tokyo.

start to notice a pattern? he blacks out, has no control over his body and when he wakes up he is somewhere else. but why is this?

Dude also starts to lose his mind at this point, he forgot when his crusade started. he also forgot all of his crusade until the base when he woke up near the EZ Mart.

and then the ending came. Dude, after all this time comes to a familiar place... a church. he recognizes the place, but cant exactly name what happened or where he recognizes this place from. he realizes his mistakes, hope people can understand why he did what he did. maybe, just maybe, Dude finally finds peace here
The ending to Redux
Dude loads up his guns and walks towards the church. the area is dead silent, only the wind can be heard. the only other sound is the ringing of the church bell.
Dude walks forward, the are slowly starts to become darker, more dead and barren. Eventually he finds a small group of people.

before going further, when playing on Easy and Normal, only a priest is present in this Scene.
if you play on Hard or Nightmare, there are 2 aditional people: a man and a woman.

Dude approaches further, it turns out its a funeral. the people dont even notice Dude watching along.
Laughter can be heard, maybe in Dudes mind. the casket gets lowered into the ground and Dude finally snaps. He loses his mind because of this scene.
he breaks down crying, covering his head in fear. later on, the police gets called and Dude gets carried away into a cell.

the last cutscene has the same dialogue like the original, here it is again

So, now we get to the real deal with Dude.
Remember i said that you needed to remember the parts where Dude had blackouts?
and remember i said that the original ending still had a purpose to fulfill?
this is the reason:
Dude is not Human, not anymore.
Dude now is possesed by a Demon.

when the Funeral happened, Dude got vulnerable, wich made it easier for the Demon to sneak into his body.

this also explains the 2 different styles of Entry in Dudes diary. The demon has this wierd, dark poem writing style, while the real Dude is scared for his life. when The Ghetto happens, the Demon got stronger and took over more of Dude. this explains why Dude gets a massive headache and also why he could walk for 7 days straight without rest. When the attack on Air Force Base was over, the demon took over the full body and went to the elementry school. what was depicted there was Dude stopping himself, just barely stopping the demon. but, after all this fighting, Dude needed to rest. The ending of Postal 1 did happen, but it wasnt Dudes doing.
Eventually, Dude his consious comes back and he is near the EZ Mart. this later on also happens when he suddenly wakes up in Tokyo.

but why do i think this? well, its not a think anymore... Rampage and Coop both confirm this idea that Dude is slowly taken over by a demon.
The hidden lore behind the Coop ending
Coop at first looks like a team of 4 copycats, looking like The Dude wich continue his rampage and at the end there breaking him out of his cell... there is 1 thing tho that is overlooked.. these arent copycats, there something closer to clones.
my evidence? the coop entrie of the level Home: "On this day, the demons have brought us together, so that each may help to strike out against the man"

The man is a different name for The Dude. the 4 dudes arent copycats, there Demons that are trying to stop the Dude.

These Dudes, along with other copys are also seen in the Rampage ending.

here is a video with the ending of the Coop mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODOP0TxKoyc
in this Video, we hear the Dude softly talking to himmself, he has lost it at this point. the demon is now in full control.
how do i know this? Rampage happens after Coop. The 4 demons break out Dude, but there killed. Dude, who is now fully possesed and lost all of his personality, gets back to his home and starts his new, never ending crusade.
Postal Redux Rampage Explained
After the second Crusade has started, the Dude is not only hunted by the police and army, but also the demons of hell. Dude is getting stronger by the second, his grind for power cant be stopped.

in the end, there is another entry:
"After overseeing the subject for some time, the primary assessment enters its closing stages. The subject's next of kin have refused to cooperate with the ongoing evaluation. While the subject remains largely unresponsive to outside stimuli, caretakers have reported brief moments of coherency. Here in these increasingly sporadic times of lucidity, he describes himself as embarking on a self-proclaimed everlasting crusade, some sort of unending rampage. It isn't certain exactly who he's competing against, but he seems he desires the judgement of some unknown figure. Communication with this unseen force suggests an inability to distinguish between his delusions and reality. Observations show him withdrawing further and further into himself. Diagnosis is unclear at this point as despite our continued efforts, the subject's condition seems to only deteriorate with time. He appears to be trapped inside his own mind in an endless struggle against himself..."

as noted by this entry Dude is not lucid anymore. there where brief moments. but at this point, there was no more Dude. this was the Demon speaking. The demon is on an everlasting crusade, on a mission to become the most powerfull thing in existence. The Dudes old personallity is not fully deleted. he is just changed. because he stays in his mind for the majority of his treatment, it isnt noticed that he is changing. The Real Dude is getting sucked in, slowly losing his battle against the demon. this is the Dudes crusade, he needs to win from this demon to remain inside his body... sadly, he lost. The demon fully changed the Dude. to make matters worse, the 4 demons break into the vacility and break out The Dude. his rampage starts, the crusade has begone.

in the ending of the Rampage Campaign, we see The Dude on top of a temple, covered in corpses of copy's of him. these are demons being send out to take down The Dude, none have succeeded. This demon has become unstoppable, there is nothing we can do to stop it now.

Postal 2 Story
what is truely wierd is the story of Postal 2, isnt it?
how come the Dude is free now? how is he more sane?

lets talk about that later, for now we just focus on this story.

Postal 2 starts with The Postal Dude getting out of his Trailer. Champ, his dog pees against his legs wich angers Dude. in anger, he kicks Champ and after this Champ returns to his dog house in pain.
the dude looks at his broken down car, but he still cant fix it.

every day, The Dudes wife (also reffered to as "The ♥♥♥♥♥") send out the dude with a list of tasks.
pretty simple and nothing that is to note worthy here.

at the end of the week, Dude returns home after its declared by the government that The Apocalypse has started. he gets inside and after a short conversation with his wife she says: "Do you remember my rocky road?" after this we can hear the dude shouting NO and then a gunshot follows.
for a long time, people speculated that The Dude shot his wife, there were also cases where people said that the Dude got shot. in all honesty, it would make sense that the Dude got shot, why else would he shout No?

After a couple years, we got Apocalypse weekend.
Dude wakes up after a nice dream that turns into a nightmare. he is in a hospital with a head injury. this means he got shot by his wife in the head. he reads a couple cards: 1 from the local Vet that Champ is beign put down at the end of the week, a couple bills, insurance that has taken his Car and Trailer and lastly his Wife, who has left him and she hopes he dies soon. with a massive brain injury, the dude makes his way out of the hospital, all the while having brain damaged moments where the world looks different, more dark and broken. the dude needs to survive the weekend while fighting within an apocalypse. his task? find his car, trailer and champ. after that, leave paradise.

quick fact, after the mad cow mission there where plans for a pidgeon mission. in a funny cutscene its explained by Vince that there isnt enough budget for a pigeon mission. all jokes aside, this was the actual reason why this mission didnt get into Apocalypse Weekend.

after finally finding Champ, The Dude and Champ go to the bridge, fight through military personel and other people to get out. at last, The Dude and Champ find there Trailer and car, but there is 1 last problem: he needs to kill Mad Cow Mike J, a demon who has been spreading the Mad Cow desease and is a cause behind this apocalypse.
The Dude kills him and both he and Champ leave Paradise
Fever Dream and Paradise Lost
After Apocalypse Weekend, The Dude and Champ leave Paradise while it gets nuked. there finally out of the town, but then Champ sees a stray cat. he jumps out of the window and chases it back towards Paradise. Dude, not wanting to leave his companion, turns the car around and tries to chase Champ. Sadly for our Dude, his head injury kicks in. The Dude loses control of the car and crashes. this crash sets The Dude in a coma for 11 years. while in this 11 year coma, Paradise changes because of the nuclear fallout. The Dude gets Visions of a dark future. what is this future? Postal 3.

if you didnt know, Postal 3 was not developed by Running With Scissors and was so hated by both them and the community that RWS (Running With Scissors) made it a canonical fever dream.

Warning: the following will be an extremely small summary of Paradise Lost, since i havent played that DLC yet. it will still contain the main things, but dont expect great details. the following summary is based of the information of the Fan Wiki for Postal 2. the source is found via this link: https://postal.fandom.com/wiki/Paradise_Lost

After waking up from a 11 year long, radiation induced coma, The Dude finds himself at the outskirts of a wierd, unfamiliar town.

Welcome back to Paradise.
After The Dude set off a Thermo-Nuclear bomb in the Office of Mike J, Paradise got 4 different Seasonal zones. each zone is sepperated by underground passages. the closer you get to the blast zone, also known as Ground 0, the worse the weather effects get.
these 4 zones are: The Arid Desert, The Rainy Foliage, The Nuclear Winter and The Ashen Skies.

after a whole week full of troubles, The Dude comes face to face with a demonic version of his wife. after a long fight, he defeats her and gets Champ back. The Dude and Champ leave this hell hole, thanks to the help of another Dude, Voiced by Corey Cruise who also voiced The Dude in Postal 3, is a Voice Option in Postal 4: No Regrets and is the main voice actor in Postal Brain damaged.
After leaving the Hell hole, our Dude has 2 options: tie up all loose ends by visiting Faction Leaders or GTFO. we all know what our Dude wanted.

after a final showdown with: Papa Desi (Vince Desi), Mike J, Zack Ward (The Dude from The Postal movie), Gary Coleman and his minion and Osama himself he finally leaves Paradise.
well... AFTER another nuke goes off.
Postal 4 Ending
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuoEFEVI9IU

When you complete Postal 4 without killing anyone (Pacifist), you get a Paranormal ending.

to quickly sumorize Postal 4 for people like me who dont own the game:
The Dude and Champ have lived in there trailer after the events of Paradise Lost. they are more or less on a never ending Road Trip. one faithful day after needing to make a quick stop for a toilet break, there Car and Trailer get stolen and they head towards Edensin for work to fix there situation.

After finishing the game in Pacifist, The Dude and Champ leave Edensin in ruins. but hey, even though they still dont have there home or car back, they still have there health and eachother.
suddenly, out of nowhere a stranger appears who can teleport quickly and whos face is constantly hidden. somehow he got the car and trailer from The Dude back. there is no catch, The Dude has his home back. The Dude says towards Champ that there "Guardian Angel" was looking out for them. not even a second after saying this, the eyes of the stranger glow blood red, he spreads his wings out while playing The Scream sound from Postal 1 and flying off.
While The Dude and Champ drive off into the sunset, the sun glitches out and there driving towards The Eye.
What does this mean?
my guess is that The Original Dude, The Demon, is constantly watching and following The Dude.
why wont be revealed... then Brain Damaged came out
Postal Brain damaged ending

After a long battle with The Other Dude, The Original Demonic Dude, There is an interesting Dialogue at the end.

Our Demon says he is a Tumor at the end of our brain, a Jungian persona among other things.

for me and many other people who dont know what a Jungian Persona is, it is a "Persona", made by the psychiatrist Carl Jung, wich was represented as a sort of mask. this mask represents us how we show ourself in public, while hiding our true selfs underneath it.

The Other Dude also makes it clear that this isnt the first fight he and The Dude had. there where many before this one and there will many after this one. Everytime the OG Dude dies, he groes even stronger. after being shotgunned to the face by our Dude, the dream ends and The Dude wakes up.
we can now see a strange symbol now present on his face.

but what does this symbol mean?
while there are many theories to this symbol, one very interesting one i will note in a seperate Entry, we simply dont know. the Sumbol is used by the Iluminaty, wich in the dream of our Dude is the only party who aknowledge The Other Dude.

Theory Time
so, after all this information i have given, what do i think?
i personally think that The Postal Dude from Postal 1 and Postal Redux are the same person.
Redux shows us a more human side to the Dude, while Postal 1 is just fully what the demon in The Dude wants.
after the ending to the campaign, the demon fully takes over The Dude.
after this, four demons come to take him down, wich didnt work.
The Dude breaks free and starts his second crusade wich results in the Rampage Ending.

meanwhile there is another Dude, The Dude from Postal 2.
this Dude is the last remnant with the mentality of The OG Dude before he got fully possesesd.
This Dude now is the last thing that can take down this demon, being constantly watched and monitered by the demon.

but this theory has a couple big holes, mainly this one: if the demon was the guy who gave our Dude his car back, why would he? if this Dude is the only one that can take down this demon, why would he help him? my guess to this is that there are other Dudes who help Postal 2 Dude. before leaving the Hell Hole there is another Dude, Corey Cruise. This Dude helps our Dude out. there are many others that help our Dude to help him in life, so that one day he can finally kill this demon.

The demon in Brain Damaged also has invaded the mind of our Dude. this is to keep a constant eye on him, so he can become stronger when The Dude shows the slightest bit of new strength.

The Symbol is a marking from the demon, so that The Dude knows he is marked.

there is another big theory that i found while searching, one that would make more sense..
lets see it
A different Theory, a different story
while searching for possible leads on what the Iluminaty symbol at the end of Postal Brain Damaged could mean, i came across this very interesting theory wich got reposted by a reditor named No-Recording-8140. this will be copy pasted, but i still want to analyze it here since it would be very cool and offers different meanings for things in the Postal games. here is the Theory:

I like to believe a theory i saw a while ago (i don't remember its origin). it was something like this:

The dude lost someone very important to him (ending of postal 1 in the cemetery) and it made him go mad (enteriety of the postal games i believe) to the point he`s cursading against something unknown even to him (Ending of postal 1 too).

The Demon, as especified by the game files in postal 1, is never meant to be the actual dude, it`s an antagonist and a guide in the dude`s head to help him destroy the thing that made everyone mad and violent. Although he looks like he`s having too much fun with tha chaos around him.

In postal Brain damaged, first it`s all a dream, so all we can say for a fact is that it`s a reflection of dude`s perspective on the world (but not a reflection of the world itself, since he`s brain damaged/schizo). So when we see "Karen, the destroyer of managers" it may be just a day he went to the mall and saw a karen there.

Now, for the illuminati: I think he believes the coronavirus is created by the illuminati, alongside aliens to enforce world domination. Wich may or may not be true in the Postal universe, since there's no explanation for the illuminati sign at the end.

The fight with the other dude is just him having watched evangelion. Yes, postal dude canonically watched evangelion: neon genesis.
Theory Analysis of The Dudes Crusade
So, this is an interesting theory.. and it makes more sense than this my theory.

After the Cemetary scene in Postal Redux on hard mode, we see a preist along with a man and woman.
these people are The Dude and his wife. they lost someone very important to them, my guess is their child.
After the death of there child, The Dude falls into a deap depression and he gets more schizophrenic. he allready had that before this loss, but its worse now that he is so depressed. his wife cant take it anymore and leaves our Dude.
so Dude and Champ leave there hometown and move to Paradise. they hope they can start over again in this new town, sadly this wasnt great for him.

before moving to Paradise, Dude has been monitered by docters for his Schizophrenia and Depression, this can explain his diary since he needed to write it for the docters for a documentation of The Dudes day to day life.

back to Paradise, i reccomend to watch this video first and then come back. that will explain why it was a mistake to move to Paradise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vto7fOz1E2A

because The Dude allready is in a fragile state of mind, the violence that is pretty normal in Paradise dont help him. eventually, he just cracks and goes Postal. he goes on a massive rampage in Paradise and eventually, he comes to an Elementary school. he looks at all the kids having fun, he drops his gun and breaks down. the loss really hurts him here, he cant look at his own kid growing up or having fun. while in this mental breakdown, in his mind he sees himself on the graveyard again, during the burial of his kid.

the wierd poems where his schizophrenia taking over, the other notes where genuine fear that The Dude experienced.
after the lockup, there where many trials and appointments. even though The Dude backed further into his mind, he eventually came out like he is now in Postal 2. there where no Dudes that came to rescue him, this was the day he got released and his schizophrenia made him imagine this.

After his release, Dude and Champ return to Paradise. the population still doenst fully trust Dude. but be honest, we wouldnt either. Dude finds a new wife, but this relation is extremely toxic. his Schizophrenia is less at play now since he is more sane.
after Friday in Postal 2, his head injury in combination with his Schizophrenia make The Dude see things wich manifest into real things. examples of this are the zombie Gary's, Corey Cruise in Paradise lost and all the zombies that are present near the Chinese restaurant. although, that last one is only partially a manifestation.
after the nuke goes off in Paradise and Dude crashes, he dreams of Postal 3 as a bad nightmare. all the while Paradise changes.

after he wakes up, Paradise has changed and Dude searches for his buddy Champ.
Corey, the other Dude in a brown coat that helps him is not really there, this is just the Schizophrenia that kicks back in that make The Dude see things.
there are also wierd voices in his head, the voices that made him think he has a crusade against something to finally find peace with the loss of his kid.

In the end of Postal 4, there is no real angel that helped our Dude. He did get help from a stranger, but not from this demonic angel, that was just a manifestation of his schizophrenia.

the brain injury is still not fully treated wich leads to the wierd dream our Dude has in Brain Damaged. all the things seen are real things The Dude experienced, but are changed due to his Schizophrenia and brain injury. The Other Dude, this demonic Dude is the physical version of the voices in his head telling him there is more behind the loss of his kid.

After the Corona virus breaks out, The Dude thinks there is something behind it.. The Iluminaty cult.
maybe, just maybe, this same cult was after his kid. this also explains the new marking on The Dudes head after he wakes up from his fight with himself.

The first boss, Karen, is just a memory of him seeing a Karen in a store. this got warped by the state of his mind and because of his shizophrenia.

The end fight is because our Dude watched a bit to much of Evangelion: Neon Genises.

the future for our Dude is probably a crusade to find out what the Iluminaty is, why it may be conected to the loss of his kid and he will probably find out why he got marked with its mark / logo
The Dudes Father theory (from MURDATYME)
this theory has a good bit of evidence and is made by MURDATYME:

I like to say, Thank you for writing this, I love the postal games and i have been seeking the lore for a long time, But i'd like to point out two possibilities, 1, The postal dude in the first game's story might have died, Notice how in the rampage ending of postal redux, The therapist says "The subject's next of kin have refused to cooperate with the ongoing evaluation.", Which would explain why the postal dude is out of the asylum in Postal 2, Because that's not him, It's his kid, And thats why In postal 1 and redux you dont have a choice but to kill, but in Postal 2, Postal 3, And Postal 4 you have the option to play through the game as a pacifist, Because you aren't HIM, And the original postal dude might have died, In the redux ending, Maybe that was his body being lowered into the grave and thats why he cannot interact with anything, After some time in the asylum, He dies and that was his death.
And if demons exist, Maybe the demon of his father is haunting him in Brain damaged and by killing is father it just causes him to kill more of his self so his Father can steal his son's body and continue his rampage, Because he didnt want to just die in a asylum, He wanted everybody to know he was around and he would not die so easily, And he'll be there long after civilization is gone., So in Postal 4, He the OG dude (AKA his father) was helping his son through to make sure he didnt die, Knowing that OG dude needed his Son alive to take control of him. And in brain damaged, Each time his son replaces his sunglasses with his father's, His world view gets a little bit more shaded into his fathers, until the possession is easy enough.
The End
we have reached the end of this massive explanation.
let me know what you think of this analysis and my theory on the story.
are there any theory's you have on the Story of Postal? let me know in the comments, maybe i will dedicate an intire entry towords it if the theory is interesting enough

I wonder if there are people who played this game as a child, or who experienced traumas who encountered scary things in their dreams or in a normal state. I am curious
