This should help out with the torture scenes when entering Arsenal Gear for the first time, and also after defeating the Rays. It doesn’t generally interrupt any other gameplay, but during the two torture scenes, you can just hold the button or tap it fast and it’ll work even better.

Also, whenever Codec calls are coming up, just begin holding the button and it’ll skip everything super fast. Yes, triangle already skips Codec calls, but holding this while the call loads up is even smoother and faster.

Go into the Controller Settings. You can either do this before starting the game (first screenshot), or while in-game, press the Steam/PS button to pull up Steam Big Picture Overlay (second screenshot).

Then enter the Edit Layout:

Buttons section, and the gear icon for triangle or Y button:

Set the “Hold to Repeat (Turbo)” to on, and set “Repeat Rate” to 10:

Back out, you’re good to go. Hold or mash the button during torture, and also hold the button when Codec calls are booting up and it'll skip as fast as possible with ease. This worked for me by mashing the button, it also seemed fine just holding it all the time. It works the same on Steam Deck as well. I left this setting on all the time and it didn't seem to interrupt any other game elements.
