How to unlock costumes for every character. (Goodnight Update Included)
By SHAKAL
Costumes are alternative outfits for each character in Dead Estate. Each Costume is tied to an in-game Achievement, and collecting all 8 gives the Achievement "Costume Party". Currently only B Costumes and C Costumes exist.

Jeff "A"
Jeff's default costume gives him a green trucker cap, a green coat and a dark brown t-shirt with blue trousers and red boots.
Jeff "B"
Jeff's B Costume turns him into a garden gnome with a light blue shirt, pointy red hat, and blush on his cheeks. His size is also altered in cutscenes, though in-game his sprite is the same size as the other characters.

This Costume is unlocked by clearing Dark Mood Woods as Jeff on Painful difficulty or above. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Dwarf".
Jeff "C"
Jeff's C Costume turns him into a younger version of himself, wearing a red letterman's jacket with a blue shirt under it, black pants, and red shoes. He is skinnier in his sprites, in-game and in both ending cutscenes.
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Jeff on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Youngin".
Jeff "D"
The Fisherman
Complete Mental Power.
The dream route. This time Jeff has my favorite Jar Brain. It allows you not only to hit with 99.99% accuracy, but also to accumulate projectiles in the air, which is very convenient when fighting bosses, because you can shoot a couple dozen times before each one appears... In general, it goes through the first time, if you do not screw up.
Jules "A"
Jules's deault costume gives her a pink bra, black nails, cuffs around her wrists, and yoga pants.
Jules "B"
Jules' B Costume gives her an orange sleeveless sweater with a red scarf, a green skirt, and changes her hairstyle. It's designed after Ashley Graham from Resident Evil 4, with the name "Ballistic Jules" coming from how Ashley's breasts are referred to as "Ballistics".

This Costume is unlocked by defeating Chunks as Jules in under 1 minute. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The President's Daughter".
Jules "C"
Jules' C Costume gives her blue shorts, a matching buttoned shirt, white ankle boots, and a loose red jacket. It's designed after Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop.
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Jules on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Bounty Hunter".
Jules "D"
The Lifeguard
Complete No More Running.
All normal floors. This is the most difficult challenge. Jules and her shotgun are enhanced, of course, but the ability to move is tafen. All the heroine can do is jump and fly away from her shots. Apparently, the appearance of Chunks is disabled here, so you shouldn't worry about him. For a more or less convenient playthrough, you will have to take items for the firing range, increase the damage area, etc. The Jar Brain item is A MUST!!! With it, rooms and bosses will be cleared incredibly quickly, and you will have to constantly run shoot around yourself much less often.
Cordelia "A"
Cordelia's deault costume gives her a tight-fitting black dress and arm-warmers.
Cordelia "B"
Cordelia's B Costume gives her a purple dress, a purple graduation cap, and changes her hairstyle. She also appears to have lost some weight, with her face and body being noticeably thinner than normal.

This Costume is unlocked by beating the True Ending as every character, which can be tracked by a gold ring around each character on the select screen. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Scholar".
Cordelia "C"
Cordelia's C Costume gives her a red hat, dress, and lipstick. It's designed after Alcina Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Cordelia on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Countess".
Cordelia "D"
The Sunbather
Complete Triple Digits.
All normal floors. This challenge is not difficult in itself, but your mouse will fall apart by the end. You don't have to think too much about upgrades, because you only need to go through the main floors.
Fuji "A"
Fuji's deault costume gives her a pink leotard along with her signature pink and white mask.
Fuji "B"
Fuji's B Costume gives her a white business shirt with a yellow tie, light gray business pants, and replaces her mask with a pair of glasses. It's designed after Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

This Costume is unlocked by knocking out Chunks on on all 4 main floors in one run. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Candidate".
Fuji "C"
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Fuji on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Wrestler".
Fuji "D"
The Beach Bum
Complete Bulking Up.
All true ending floors. Fuji is not weakened in any way, so it is easy to play.
BOSS "A"
BOSS' deault costume gives her an inmate outfit tied around her waist and bandages wrapped around her chest and her right eye.
BOSS "B"
BOSS' B Costume gives her the inmate outfit that she usually has tied around her waist, a black eyepatch covering her right eye and removes the bandages wrapped around her chest and right eye.

The Costume is unlocked by defeating a Boss in under 10 seconds. Completing it unlocks the achievement: "The Inmate".
BOSS "C"
BOSS' C Costume gives her a green military suit, a black eyepatch covering her right eye and a green hairband. It's designed after Big Boss from the METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER.

This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as BOSS on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Legend".
BOSS "D"
The Pirate Queen
Complete Weak Throw.
All true ending floors. The BOSS throws bombs right next to herself, but that shouldn't scare you. Are you afraid to get close? Lure the monsters to you and blow them up! Often, explosions will push enemies away from you, which will give you time for further action. You can think about upgrading agility.
Luis "A"
Luis' deault costume gives him a yellow button-up shirt with a gray suit overtop and gray dress pants.
Luis "B"
Luis' B Costume greatly changes how he looks, giving him armor, black hair, and red sunglasses. It's designed after Stan from the upcoming game Nightmare Cops.

This Costume is unlocked by completing a Looped run as Luis without picking up a single heart. Other healing methods such as Ambrosia are permitted. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Nightmare Cop".
Luis "C"
Luis' C Costume gives him a brown blazer with a red turtleneck sweater underneath it, black pants and shoes, and slick back hair with a shaven face.
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Luis on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Detective".
Luis "D"
The Swimmer
Complete Unarmed.
The Shrine. Luis is hysterical - his gun shoots very fast, but deals only one unit of damage. Clearing rooms with such meager damage is not an option, the test allows you to move immediately without killing anyone in the room. We search for all the treasures, collect good items and a set of "useless body parts" to create a force field that already causes good damage. Then - for the key and to the boss!
Mumba "A"
Mumba's deault costume gives him his signature white blob skin.
Mumba "B"
Mumba's B Costume gives him pink skin and turns his head and body into large mouths full of sharp teeth. It's loosely based on Horror from Nuclear Throne.

This Costume is unlocked by reaching the Exit Realm as Mumba on Painful difficulty or above. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Abomination".
Mumba "C"
Mumba's C Costume turns him into a brown bear.
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Mumba on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Critter".
Mumba "D"
The Sea Creature
Complete Death from Above.
The Shrine. Half of the enemies will not reach the Mumba if it hangs at the highest height, but you will have to run from some of them. Especially from the boss: set on fire - flew away, set on fire - flew away. Any items to enhance the fire - must have!
Lydia "A"
Lydia's deault costume gives her a blue buisness suit with her long brown hair.
Lydia "B"
Lydia's B Costume gives her a yellow jumpsuit with black stripes and changes her hair into a ponytail. It's designed after The Bride from Kill Bill.

This Costume is unlocked by completing a run as Lydia without breaking any Pots. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Assassin".
Lydia "C"
Lydia's C Costume gives her grey hair, bra, and gloves, an open pink hooded jacket and shoes, and sunglasses on her head. It's designed after Mariah from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Lydia on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Magnet".
Lydia "D"
The Captain
Complete The Year of the High Roller.
The Shrine. This time Lydia is very limited in equipment - the pistol has only 50 rounds, and if she spends it all, she will die. There is nothing difficult in the test, if you find a good weapon in the box and do not miss most of the time.
Digby "A"
Digby's deault costume gives him unkempt reddish-brown hair, wearing a tan boyscout uniform with a red ascot, brown shorts and red shoes.
Digby "B"
Digby's B Costume gives him a white t-shirt, blue hair, and a red hat and backpack. It's designed after Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin'.

The Costume is unlocked by finding and destroying an arcade machine in the Attic Sanctum. This machine appears in a special room that only appears when playing as Digby, similar to the room Mumba is unlocked in. Completing it unlocks the achievement: "The Funkhead".
Digby "C"
This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Digby on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Supernatural".
Digby "D"
The Sailor Boy
Complete Time Attack.
All normal floors. Digby is given 8 minutes to complete this route and this is... enough! Just keep a combo and the guy will erase all living in the area in seconds.
Axel "A"
Axel's deault costume gives him blond wavy hair and yellow shades. He has a shirtless leather jack, with his bare chest being visible as well as (fake) abs.
Axel "B"
Axel's B Costume gives him black hair, with a red and black jacket/shirt and black fingerless gloves. It's designed after Travis Touchdown from the No More Heroes series.

The Costume is unlocked by picking up a Laser Blade as Axel. Completing it unlocks the achievement: "The Crownless King".
Axel "C"
Axel's C Costume gives him a white business shirt as well as a blue suit jacket and red tie. It's designed after Reigen Arataka from the Mob Psycho series.

This Costume is unlocked by completing a run with every individual Curse enabled as Axel on any difficulty. Completing it unlocks the Achievement "The Teacher".
Axel "D"
The Model
Complete Ununundead.
All normal floors. Axel has been reset to 1 HP, but has gained incredible strength! It is unlikely that it will take more than one attempt to complete, because the character has a huge damage, fire rate, five rebirths.

I'm pretty sure Digby's "C" is based from Kageyama Shigeo's costume from Mob Psycho 100. The achievement name "The Supernatural" gives me the vibe, since Shigeo is an esper & has the same outfit

Mumba´s D costume is after the character "Fish" from Nuclear Throne. Another excellent twin stick shooter rogue like. I have over 400 hrs in that one.

You sure that Solid Snake wore an eyepatch? The only time he does is when he's an old fart and only on the left...
