Introduction

I made this guide because I saw some people use gun that ridiculously high recoil that shoot the same caliber that some gun have lower recoil but hey if the gun look good it look good right? thankfully from the old damage spreadsheet the dev seem to didn't change much from old patch.

Damage is arranged by color that do the most damage to the least ex. red, orange, yellow, green and light blue and color applies to the same weapon category not related to other catalogs.

R = Magazine capacity

Assault Rifle

Note that SA-58 recoil goes beyond the image but also deal the most damage. Caliber .300 Blackout deal almost the same with 5.56

Submachine Gun

Shotgun

I tested Buckshot and Slug it seem to have the same recoil.

Pistol

the Five-seveN recoil be like yep I'll stay right down here.

@willemvanoranje I just tested LVAR and MCX without attachment it literally got the same result while in your guide both have different stat

recoil seems to be innacurate from our testing ( https://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3126978037 ) its not done yet but alot more detailed already

@Kool-Aid someone did spreadsheet that test by shooting armor and no armor the outcome is dev did follow what the caliber should do the most damage irl

how are you deriving their damage? Through shots to kill?

300bo is more deadly than 556....its a larger payload...and subsonic has some deadly rounds like a hollow point w/ slits down the slug that flowers upon impact to the size roughly of a 50 cent piece...a 556 or 223 is roughly the size of a 22lr.. .223dia 300bo is great for up to 2-300yds but superb for 100 yds or less

Yes. In general, some stats displayed would be great when choosing a weapon.

that is what I wish the dev add is tell you how many round per magazine but you are right will add later.
