You will fiddle around with save files, and I am not responsible for any potentially lost data. It should be in your best interest to preserve your original files. I have tested the methods contained in this guide on my alt account and didn't run into issues, nor did I get banned from any online services. You should be fine, but still.

Gaining XP and leveling from lvl 29 to 30 by finishing a race event does not trigger the "XPerienced" achievement for reaching the level cap in the campaign. To prevent this, you have to level up through other means, such as finding collectibles and clearing free roam activities.

The only XP gain that matters is at the exact point where you rank from from 29 to 30. Don't worry about how you'll get to this point. You can still do races at lvl 29 since they are worth the most. That does not void you out of the achievement, as long as you don't level up after a race. Just pay attention to when you are about to level up and start grabbing collectibles and do the activities.

With this knowledge, you can avoid the missing achievement trigger and unlock it during your first playthrough.

As mentioned before, you gain the most XP by winning races, so most players likely lock themselves out of the achievement because of the game simply not accounting for that. And while starting over and rushing through the story again really isn't that bad, it is still annoying.

So for these common cases, I have prepared a copy of my save file as a download. This profile is just about to reach level 30 and all that you have to do is grab a single collectible to rank up. I intentionally left one that is very easy to grab, so you will be able to do this very quickly. However, first you need to download the save and move it into the right folder. Now follow these steps:

1. Unlink your 2K account if you have set it up. Otherwise, start with the next step.

2. Go to your documents and find the folder "My Games".

3. Navigate to Artemis/Saved/SaveGames.

4. The file that contains the story progress is called "ArtemisPlayerInfo.sav". Either make a backup of your file or just copy the entire folder somewhere safe so you can revert it back afterward.

5. Extract the file you downloaded and move it to the "SaveGames" folder.

6. Now launch the game and fast travel to Silent Ridge Garage in the north west of Hauntsborough.


7. Make a slight right turn and drive towards the two houses, past the big pumpkin. You will quickly notice the orange glow of this area's collectible. This will level you up and unlock the achievement.

8. Go back to the main menu and re-link your account. It should offer you to download your main save from the cloud. If you don't have an account or just want to do it manually, go ahead and put your original save back.
