yeah, it's a massive shame. Crash and Spyro have so much potential, i really wish the franchises got more love from their own publisher. :/

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a fourth Spyro game in development hell right now. Activision-Blizzard haven't been competent at much of anything lately if Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch are anything to go by. Too many studios under too greedy and shortsighted CEOs. Toys for Bob did an amazing job but they went indie I believe and don't have the Spyro IP.

Man I miss when you could get 2 liters of interesting mtn dew flavors. Now I only ever see it sold in crappy overpriced $8 12 packs of cans. Soda flavors have been boring since like 2020.

Unfortunately, unless Insomniac buys back the IP, we probably won't get a 4th, and it won't be Insomniac-tier quality if it's made by another studio. Toys for Bob did an amazing job with the re-make, but there is a large gap between remaking what has already been made, and a entire new game of Spyro YOTD-quality content.
