To unlock the Corrupted Avatar you have to survive, at any rank survival mode, for 9 in-game days until the enemie's health reaches infinity.

As you progress past the 3-4 day mark the enemies max health will reach hundreds of billions and become so fast that can instantly reach you. The old method using the Shop-keeper with the Death Scythe can't handle it no more on the current patch.

With this method we'll be using only the Cleaver weapon. We don't have kill the enemies past the 4-day mark, instead we'll just push them away from us until we reach the 9-day goal.

We'll attack so fast and with enough projectile size and count the Cleaver attacks will form a full circle around us, pushing the enemies away.

For this method to work you'll need to have unlocked the artifacts, cards and talents described in this guide.

We'll be using the Dog Rog as our Avatar. I'll put a brief guide on how to unlock him on the next section, if you haven't already.

Its important to have unlocked upgrades for the F E D C ranks Soulshop, especially the Anachronistic ability ralated. You dont have to max every single one, but the ones related to the important stats described in this guide are a must have. Complete Rog' Mode challenges to unlock soulshop upgrades.

We'll be only using the Cleaver weapon so we'll need to cap our weapons count so we dont keep getting weapon card offers.

We'll need to lower our graphics as well. The enemy count and it's speed will get really crazy by the end of the run and can cause massive fps drops and most important micro sttuters. Stutters can cause you to stop attacking for a split second and enemies will get to you.

Video Settings
Just put everything on Low and lower you resolution to a size that looks decent on you monitor. I play on 1440p and 768p is fine. Again, this is important even if you have a hight end setup like I do. The game will lag and can kill your run.


Game Settings
Auto-aim should be ON.
Set you weapon cap to 1 or 2. You can complete this using only the Cleaver as weapon, but the Crystal Sword is a good second weapon, due to having a knockback effect aswell and enemies killed with it drop double exp. Keep in mind that using both will affect you fps. If you want to use both weapons set the cap to 2, if only using the Cleaver set to 1.

We'll be using the Dog Rog due to his increased knockback and movement speed atributes. The lower attack speed is not gonna be an issue, we will counter it with an artifact that will increase our atk spd based on our movement speed.

To unlock this good boy is very easy and fast.

Using the Knight Rog Avatar, use the default Skin, play the E-rank survival mode. The talents doesn't matter.

At the start of the level inmediatly go UP until you find a big Skull facing left. At skull go LEFT until you find the same skull, this time facing right. At the second skull go UP again until you find a giant bone. Touch the bone and should unlock the Dog Rog.

As an Active Talent we'll be using the Cleaver as a weapon. Doesnt have to be at max level, but having the active ability available helps.

As the Passive Talents we'll be using:

• Multi-Shot: + 8 projectiles at max level
  
• Tainted Seal: Increase the chance of getting the Cardio card
  
• Solar or Sun Stone: Extra XP gain
  
• Gale or Wind Stone: Extra movement speed and dash recharge rate

We'll be playing on E-rank Suvival, it seems to be the easiest. As the level starts you should run around destroyng crates, they can drop Artifacts. You should do this until you feel confortable with the dificulty. I recommend until the game time turns red.

Once you feel comfortable with your artifacts, you build up enough attack speed and projectiles to form a full circle around you, just stop moving and focus on increasing knockback. Just be careful about the potential stutters and lag that could happen. Use your anachronistic ability to gain damage immunity if necessary. After the 9 day mark, wait a few minutes and the game will end.

As you level up your weapons this are the stats that you should focus on. They are in order of importance. The other stats doesnt mather.

When you level up, in the card selection, if there are no cards with important stats to pick from just pick whatever. Save your rerolls for the Artifacts

Apart from cards that improve your important stats, you should always pick these when available.

• immovable object will increase your damage when not moving. You are supposed to stop moving once the enemies speed start to increase drastically.
  
• Void Spirit to attract 100% of the soulgems. You will need to level up the Student card
  
• Evasion its a failsafe. Will prevent you form being killed if the game lags in th endgame. You will need to level up Dash to unlock.

If you have maxed the Soul shop banish upgrade you should start the run with 18 banish.
Star banning the Tainted cards except Cardio. Tainted cards are the ones with 999 and 99 max level.

The other bans should be use on cards that decreases the important stat while improving an useless stat. Cards that increase corruption should be banished as well.

Cards that decrease an important stat but also increases a different important stat should be picked. The only cards that are not worth picking are Trade Off and Hyper-Sonic. its always worth trading atk spd for other important stat, you will eventualy hit the 1000% atk speed cap anyway. Just be carefull with the Accumulation card. it is a very important card to have but you should pick it and level up when your are close or over the atk spd cap.



This cards should always be banished.

Fractal will push enemies towards you.
Fire Spirit will set enemies on fire. Burned enemies will run at random directions ignoring knockback, they can hit you.

IMPORTANT: Prioritize your rerolls on Artifacts over cards.

These should be your priority. Any other doesnt matter:

1. Herme's hood: Increase your atk speed based on your move speed. Its a huge boost.
   
2. Sage Leaf: The game can sometimes lag by the end of the run. When it does your avatar will stop attacking for a split second and enemies will hit you. This will prevent you from taking any damage and you'll become invulnerable for 4 second. After the invulnerability wears off it has a 12sec cooldown. During the cooldown (the artifact symbol will have an red outline below your dash gauge) you shoud use your Anachronistic ability to become invulnerable to damage until the Sage leaf is available again.
   
3. Hand of the Cheater: 4 cards to pick from
   
4. Corrupted Core: You can upgrade cards past it's max level
   
5. Old Coin: 300% XP multiplier
   
6. Gilgamesh's Crown: increase the chance of heroic cards (golden) to appear. If you already have Void Spirit and Accumulation you can pass on it if you want.
   
7. Carved Dice: A free reroll ta refreshes at every level up
   
8. Ranked Dice: A free rarity reroll that refreshes every 2 level ups. Use on heroic cards to max Void Spirit, Accumulation, immovable Object and Perfection.
   
9. Magnifying Crystal: 50% XP multiplier
   
10. Holy Cross: 25% move speed multiplier
    
11. Pouch of Greed: Free 10 upgrades

• Bhikkhu Pearl: increases the enemy amount by 20%
  
• Portal Shard: will have a similar effect to Fractal and push enemies towards you
