Report a translation problem
One thing about this game that separates it from other games with similar no death achievements is that when you quit, your character DOES NOT stop immediately. When you press escape to pause the game before you die, your character is still moving, albeit very slowly. So you MUST press escape and then quit immediately. If you don't, or if your character is too close to the death zone, it WILL register that death.
During the last fight, I got knocked off the edge, but I was far enough from the death zone that quitting to the main menu and then continuing, got me the achievement.
