The Winchester M1907 is a BR III semi-auto rifle with a relatively high magazine capacity and a bayonet. However, the damage lower than the M1 Garand (15.3 vs 12.6) so it would usually take 2 hits to kill, but the magazine capacity alone makes this an Excellent gun if you are playing BR III.

It has a simlar recoil compared to the Gewehr 41 but the Pavesi SVT deals a higher damage compared to the Gewehr 41. However the Pavesi SVT doesn't have a bayonet. However, it takes a while to reload as you need to insert the rounds one-by-one because of the tube magazine. It is worth considering if you like the sight. I don't see much reason getting this because the direct comparison would be the 20-round MP28 that you first unlock in the research tree. The Wz.39 Mors has a bigger magazine than the MP28 and that's it. The next gun you unlock after the MP28 is the MP 34(o), it already has a 32-round magazine.

The SIG 1920 doesn't have a recoil problem so I cannot see any reason to get this. If you really like playing BR III Japan then it's fine, but it feels very similar to the SIG 1920.

Despite its name, this is categorized as a semi-auto rifle so your Engineers can use it. It has a low recoil and a fast rate of fire. It fires only in full-auto and uses a 20-round magazine.

The sight blocks your right side of the screen because the magazine is on the top, but it's still very usable because the front sight post is very clear. It has a sprint speed reduction like an LMG. You'll be constantly reloading because of the fast fire rate, full-auto only, and small magazine. There's so much wrong with this gun, but the gun itself feels very nice to use. This can be an alternative for the the AVT-40 and AVS-36.

The Breda PG (CR) is a select fire rifle that can fire in a 4-round burst or semi automatic. This gun can be used by Engineers.

This is a good alternative to the FG 42 II, if you are starting to play high BR and don't have the FG 42 yet, I highly recommend picking this up. The Breda PG uses the burst fire mode by default, so you don't have to switch firing modes every time you use it. However, unlike the Gewehr 43 Kurz, the burst fire on the Breda PG is a bit overkill if you are just aiming at one person. You can run out of bullets very quickly. I'd recommend switching to burst when in close quarters combat and semi-auto when targeting far away targets. Using this gun in semi-auto feels very nice because you can do follow up shots very quickly because it has a very small recoil.

I don't recommend getting this if you already unlocked the T20 rifle. The difference between the T20 and the T20E1 is that the T20 has a bayonet while the T20E1 has a bipod. The Type Hei late is a semi-automatic rifle with 10-rounds. Unlike the normal Type Hei and the other gold order Type Hei 10 it has a higher fire rate and reloads much faster.

Compared to the Type 4 rifle, the Type Hei Late does less damage but it reloads much faster. Like other Japanese guns, it also has a bayonet. However, this gun was introduced before Japan has BRV equipment. Since this is a BR IV gun, you will always be matched with players using BR V equipment. This gun will become obsolete once you unlock the Type Hei Automatic.

Just like the 20-round SVT-40, you can just use the Type Hei Automatic on semi-auto and get a similar feel while retaining the select-fire capability. Here are the comparison of the sights:

After the changes in matchmaking, this gun is a bit more useful because it is BR IV. The only difference between it and the normal SVT-40 is the magazine. I wouldn't recommend picking this up if you are planning on playing BR V because the 15-round AVS-36 and AVT-40 are much better guns. They have a smaller recoil and can fire fully automatic.
You can just use the AVT-40 on semi auto and get the same feel.

I'm not the biggest sniper fan, especially semi-auto snipers. For far away targets, using a semi auto sniper will take two shots to kill most of the times. I would rather use the normal sniper Mosin if I ever need the bigger magnification.

Despite its appearance, the LAD is a submachine gun and not an LMG. It fires much slower compared to the PPSh-41 but has a 150-round belt magazine. One important note if you decide to pick up the LAD is that by default, it doesn't have an extra magazine. That means if you bring an ammo pouch regardless of size, it will always give only one extra magazine (150/150).

It is worth consider getting because it is very controllable. It has similar fire rate to the PPS-42, but I prefer a faster fire rate in high BR games. It also locks you to use an ammo pouch because you it would be tricky to reload from an ammo box if you don't have one.

It has similar fire rate as the FNAB-43. You need to click very fast to utilize this gun well. If you need a semi-auto rifle for low BR matches, but you don't like the Armaguerra, I would recommend picking this up.

Unlike the other factions, the US does have a similar weapon. The M1 Carbine has a noticeably lower rate of fire, smaller magazine, but has a higher damage compared to the S&W Light Rifle. The M1 Carbine cannot be used by Tankers, APC Drivers, Assaulters, Medics, and Pilots while the S&W Light Rifle can.

The suppressed Mosin has a different scope compared to the normal sniper M91 Mosin.

In my opinion, this is a noob trap because the suppressor doesn't really help with sniping. While it does hide muzzle flash, because the bullet tracers are still visible. Also, if you do kill a player, the kill cam will give your position away anyway and they can use their other soldiers to get you.

The low muzzle velocity means that there will be a bigger bullet drop, so you need to aim higher for targets further away. However, the bullet drop isn't noticeable at medium ranges. It also does less damage compared to a normal rifle.

The silenced PPD does hide the muzzle flash, but unlike the Mosin, the muzzle velocity of the silenced PPD and the normal PPD is the same. It does a bit less damage than the PPD, but the difference won't be noticeable.

If we compare it to the PPD 34/38 which the only BR IV soviet gun in the research tree, the PPD BraMit better because it has a higher fire rate. The silencer also means that bots will be less likely to notice you, so this is a good gun for flanking. It's a very fun gun and I recommend it.

I got one of these just for fun, using it is a challenge. It needs at least two shots to kill anyone and it being a bolt-action rifle does not help.

If this was available in the store again, I would definitely pick this up. Compared to the other SMGs in low BR, it fires way faster than the M3 Grease gun while retaining the same damage.

The RMN-50 is a very unique gold order as it can fire high explosive shells that could wipe an entire room. However, it takes up the main weapon slot, so you might need to carry a pistol or use the second weapon slot. Unlike rifle grenade launchers, ammo pouches do increase your shells, so you might consider the backpack slot over the secondary weapon. You also need a bit of practice because it fires in an arc.

The M1 Garand is the only competition in BR III. The Pedersen rifle has two more rounds compared to the M1 Garand, but the damage is lower. One thing to note is that the Pedersen rifle uses a toggle action, so every time you fire it, there is a split second where you're screen is blocked. This is similar to the Luger and the Type Hei.

You need to click really fast to use it effectively. The rate of fire is much faster compared to the M1 Carbine. The damage is a bit low, so you might need three shots to kill an enemy. However, it has a big 40-round magazine so you can spray it like an SMG since it fires pretty fast for a semi-auto. For low BR matches, the only semi-auto rifle the US has is the M1 Carbine which deals a higher damage but fires more slowly. I'd recommend this if you prefer to use semi-auto rifles for low BR matches.
