while using my controller and the steam input envelope I noticed:

when you hit LB/RB in combat it spams in and out of the menu. it should be a toggle. it makes the game unplayable and annoying

click the controller icon on the game to open its steam input profile.
on the official layout, clock on "combat settings" then "edit". change RB/ LB "previous leader" / "next leader" to be "on release press" by clicking on the gear icon.
