Guide with link to my (going to be released today) application that allows the on the fly adjustment of Field of View and advanced id tech 5 graphic options not seen in the games config or options to be tweaked in intervals as small as 0.01 for exceptional precision. Does not require the console to be in the command line allowing achievements in game to still be earned.

that fov is only 14.5 out of 50 in how far you can go - so for people with 4K or triple monitor set ups playing in super wide screen you can really do insane FoV - also!! - This allows any FoV you choose to have the game scale as it was intended with the cinematic bars rather than scale a bit off and need to be tweaked with the 1.77/1.8ish or end up having FoV issues due to it not being proper for the display anymore -
This will get rid of all those issues on any resolution / multi-monitor set up; and has options for Nvidia 3D Vision FoV testing alongside the in game FoV (no support for AMD 3D sorry);
