Hello all! Lonnie here with the guide for Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit!

There were a lot of bumpy rides with making this guide, especially when I was trying to decide the formatting that I wanted when writing the Mind Chess segments and in the end I needed to do A LOT of editing and proofreading after I eff'd up some of the key strokes, so this was probably my least favorite guide to make. The game is solid though!

Other than that there's not much to say here, we'll go right into it! Per usual, I will go into detail for every single achievement and step you need to take to complete the game as concisely as possible. Each step will be labeled in different ways, such as Achievement steps. As always, I write all of my guides as I play the game, so there's always a good chance something will be misspelled or improperly formatted. While I try to triple check everything before I upload, I'm only human! If you find any errors, or have any tips and tricks to make the game-play smoother, don't hesitate to let me know! I try to respond to every comment, but if I don't, I do at least read all of them!

Disclaimers and Important Things to Note

• I play the Ace Attorney games on mouse and keyboard, so I will be operating my guides by that medium. If you play on controller, just press the appropriate controller button!
  
• If you are going for 100% achievements, DO NOT PLAY THE GAME IN STORY MODE! Story Mode is essentially just an automatic playthrough, and AAI warns you ahead of time that ALL ACHIEVEMENTS ARE LOCKED IN STORY MODE. (Don't be lazy, play the game manually!)
  
• I will include any gameplay tips in the solution guide, such as keystrokes that make the menus transition smoother
  
• I will include sections for each Chapter based achievement. I will also go into detail about where you need to go for each achievement in its proper Solution chapter, so don't worry about needing to use the Achievement section for keeping track!

Gameplay Tips - You will be introduced to a new mechanic in this game, Mind Chess. This is a pretty interesting mechanic in that it has a time limit. You have to select the appropriate response depending on the mood or statement from your opponent. Wrong choices will incur penalties on your time limit, and once you run out of time your Truth Meter takes a hit. Different characters have different methods to overpowering them, and the goal, like in normal chess, is to defeat their Queen piece.

Again, making this guide was a bumpy road indeed and I found myself running into a lot of formatting issues and all around annoying things that definitely made this take WAY longer than it should have. But at the end of the day, it's here and it's complete!

I had a lot of fun re-experiencing this game, and while it's not at the top of my list for favorite games, it was still extremely good. And I love most of the characters! I hope they bring back Kay, Shi-Long Lang and Eustace someday down the line!

Now that AAIC is done, I'm going to go back to working on the Apollo Justice Trilogy now. Those ones I'll be taking my time with as I don't want to push myself too hard with back to back guides, as the AAI guides took A LOT out of me.
