This achievement requires you to hold 20 items in your inventory simultaneously-- meaning you must avoid combining items. You can earn this achievement in Chapter 4, before committing the murder of the chapter. You will start gaining items in the first chapter and they will carry over as you go from chapter to chapter. Slowly more and more rooms in the mansion open up and once you are in Chapter 4 you will have enough freedom to get the 20 items.

*Basically, once chapter 4 starts you will want to explore and find enough items to pop the achievement before progressing. As the game goes on, items are used and it becomes more and more possible you will miss this.

There are several points throughout the game where you may earn this achievement through natural play. But it is entirely possible to play through the whole game and wind up missing this. So I made this guide to help you get the achievement out of the way early, because it is one of the few achievements you can miss.

This is actually over 20 items, so there is room for error. There also may be other items made available in Chapter 4 that I didn't list here, because this more than covers it. If you find any other items post a comment describing where and I will add it.

Notebook – During tutorial.
Flashlight (you have to combine the batteries, don’t worry about it) – During tutorial.
Water Bottle – Shelf in your room.
Light Bulb – On cabinet in small den down hall from your room.
Screwdriver – Next to light bulb.
Matches – Corner offshoot from main dining area, on an end table.
Padlock – End of chapter 1.

Toothbrush – In bathroom down the hall from your room.
Whiskey – In a closet in one of the guest rooms in the wing near your bedroom.

Wrench 1 – In the toolbox in the bathroom where you find the handyman in the new area.
Wrench 2 – In the toolbox in the bathroom where you find the handyman in the new area.
Wrench 3 – In the toolbox in the bathroom where you find the handyman in the new area.
Pen – On small table right by toolbox.

Jewelry – In one of the rooms in the servant’s wing that opens up this chapter.
Cassette – On a trolley in the hallway of the servant’s wing.
Gun – In the safe in your father’s study. (6-6-19-66) On 3rd floor East wing that opens up this chapter.
Pistol Ammo – In your father’s desk in the study.
Glue – In the desk in the classroom. On 3rd floor East wing that opens up this chapter.
Camera – In Grandpa’s study across the hall from classroom.
Photo Paper – In Grandpa’s study across the hall from classroom.
Map – In Grandpa’s study across the hall from classroom.
Nail Gun – Toolshed outside in garden.
Nails – On bottom shelf in toolshed.
Rocks x3 – Outside on the ground in the courtyard/garden area. These may not spawn as early as chapter 4, but even if they do not, you should have more than enough items listed above.

Once you pick up the 20th item, the achievement will pop. Then you can freely combine items to use in your efforts for the rest of the game.
