How to Ana Flores
By Noisette and 2 collaborators
Base and intermediate advice for Ana Flores. I have added some basics, for new players. Hope that everyone will find something useful here. I appreciate you reading and leaving comments.
P.S. Can you find all the hidden Marias in the pictures?

Lore
Before we begin, a quick thank you to Lefty (acting as Maria) and Okurka (acting as Hitchhiker). Both contributors are mentioned in the authors tab. <3

So, Ana Flores has always put the needs of others prior to her own. She sought the best for her lover, who she cheered for in high school, and in the end, the best came to him when he got accepted into college on a football scholarship, leaving her behind. Even though her boyfriend insisted that she should accompany him to college, Ana's own dreams were stifled because she could not let go of her single mother, unlike her sister. She has setbacks, but her mental toughness has not wavered.

Since both Ana and her sister Maria Flores are Uvalde natives, Ana was in charge of the associated group of friends that are the victims in this game and was accountable for their conflict with the Slaughter Family.
Because the sisters had to care for each other and their single mother shortly after their father passed away from natural causes, Ana had a close bond with Maria. Once Maria's car (in which she left) was found, she organized her own search party with her boyfriend and friends to try and locate her missing sister after the Texas Police were unable to provide much information.

Perks
This is my build. It capitalizes on Ana's strong sides—endurance and strength. You are of course free to use whatever you fancy, but this is my recommendation. This combo is meant for players that do not sit around and are able to understand chases. There is no "right" combination of perks and skill points (the white stars on your skill tree—the second picture), but do not use the skill points on the "stealth" skill category. This applies to all victims. It is completely useless. Instead, spend it on endurance, strength, or proficiency.

Here is the path I took to get the combination of perks in my skill tree:

Pain is nothing
This is the name of Ana's ability, and it's basically all what makes her special from the gameplay point of view (as for any other victim, of course). It's said that her ability "significantly reduces the damage she’ll take from any attacks and falls, like jumping out windows. Her additional buff is a temporary immunity to the effects of any poison." This is true, but be careful with the timing; it depends on the level of your ability, but it lasts up to 11 seconds, so time it perfectly. It does not take that long to recharge, but in a hectic chase, you might find yourself needing it more than once in a minute.
Pro tips (not really)
Here are some tips on when to use the ability—some of them are logical and obvious, but others may not be:

When chased by a family member
When risking getting a significant percent of your health taken down or even dying in a chase, just use your ability and tank all hits. It can be a useful idea to combine this case tatcic with a well on the end, so that even that won't kill you. Have in mind though that you are not invincible; it is just very hard to kill you, so don't get too cocky.

When performing an acrobatic stunt
There is nothing more fun and cimematic as well as to escape the hands of your future killer by jumping out of a window. Especially on the Family House map, there are multiple epic cinematic choices—and also an achievement "Be like Sally" available. So who could be the better final girl than Ana Flores (excluding Maria) when she has the ability to jump multiple times and still make it??

When running out of stamina in a chase
We all know the situation: the victims are not all professional athletes, so they can't run forever. But worry not! When you are running out of stamina in a case, just use your ability and rely on your skin of steel. If you are fortunate enough to have the ability on level two, you can also select an add-on in the ability tree that transforms every hit into a bit of stamina while active.

When grappling with someone
If there is more time and other killers around than the one you were forced to grapple with, use your ability to avoid unwanted death while grappling. Family members (you may know from personal experience) like to kill victims while they are fighting with another member of the slaughter.
Thank you
Once again, thank you for reading this so called guide. I hope you enjoyed reading it at least a bit. Please, feel free to leave any positive or constructive comments so I can improve. If I were to recommend one last thing: play the game guys, it's (mostly) fun :D

May Madre de Dios bless you all <3
