Better Movement
Not getting your character to move the way you want him to can be a frazzling, offputting, or (more often than not) hilarious situation.

Sometimes it's the simplest tweak that can be a total, game-changing eureka moment.
Every player has their methods, what works for them may not work for you. So let's get down to the basics.

Limiting the number of limbs in use

The less appendages you have stuck to a surface, the easier it is to move around. Your mounter has the wonderful advantage of being hyper-flexible, and as such, can contort neatly into shapes that most of us would find excruciating.

Try to adhere to the rule of 2. It's unlikely you'll go an entire game without having more than 2 limbs attached to a surface at any one time, but limiting your grip to just 2 arms/legs means it'll be a lot easier to move quicker and further. Pay attention when stretching to grab a hold elsewhere. If you can't reach, try and pull that one leg up to your stomach and you'll find that you have a lot more reach and freedom to climb than you had before.

Monkey see, monkey do

Multiplayer is a fantastic way to learn new things. Whether you're playing with a pro or someone that appears to be mashing their keyboard and hoping for the best, there's usually something to be learned from watching.

Some players have unique methods of managing to launch themselves great distances, others pull off strange and brilliant manoevres entirely by accident. Try to replicate what you see, pay attention to where they put their limbs.

If you really don't care about winning the match, go right ahead and attempt to copy that player. If you're trying to win, save it and practise what you saw in Man crafting mode. That way you have all the time in the world to practise your new move without the pressure of a timer.

Other ways to have fun in Multiplayer
Sick of losing? Guilty of a rage-quit?
Don't fret. It's not like there's an online scoreboard keeping track of your wins and losses to brag/be ashamed about.
This game is mostly about mindless, immature fun. As such, it doesn't need to become all about climbing the tower, building the bridge.

So, here are a few suggestions/possible goals to throw into the mix when playing online.

Teabag King

The first time I played online, I ended up in a 2 hour bridge building session with some random guy. I lost in the end by trying to be a smart-ass and let my finger slip on an over-complicated move.

Neither of us seemed interested in building a bridge. Instead we wordlessly embraced the immature concept of the game and made each other laugh (I think).
Going back and forth, trying to put our characters in the most rediculous sexual positions on top of the last one. Some player's will get annoyed by it, others will join in and try to get revenge for the epic teabagging/dong smacking/butt humping you just delivered onto them. It can lead to challenging and inventive ways to play and outdo one another.

Flip Master

Do a barrel roll!

There's a bunch of inventive ways to fly in this game. Most people can only figure out two ways to do it. Get into a 'launching' competition with a player. It's fun as hell and you're likely to learn a new way to approach a situation.

All of these 'stupid' little non-objectives have a way of accidentally teaching you better limb manipulation. Before you know it, you'll be the smart-ass stranger that people are trying to copy in an online session.

Thanks, TomCat__

-Axton-, I can't remember. I'm sorry. I was fairly new to steam when I made this, so it's probably an accident on my part. I haven't logged on here for numerous months and am not sure how to rectify it.
