Install Reshade with add-on support
1. Get to https://reshade.me/#download and download the newest release with add-on support

2. Start the exe and search for smt. Choose the second one and click Next.

3. Select Direct X 10/11/12 and click next.

4. Find Reshade_HDR_shaders by Lilium, check its box and click Next.

5. Find and check the AutoHDR by EndlesslyFlowering and click Next.

6. Click Finish after it's done.

In-game Reshade configuration
1. After launching the game, press "Home" key to open the reshade overlay.

2. After finishing or skipping the tutorial, enable Lilium's inverse tone mapping (ERROR).

3. On the parameter section below, go to where it says CSP_OVERRIDE.

4. Type CSP_SCRGB as shown in the picture and hit "Enter" key.

5. Now the HDR is there, set your monitor's max brightness at global - target brightness section.

6. Make sure AutoHDR is checked in the add-on page if it didn't work.

7. That's it. Enjoy SMT 5 (and many other games) with HDR on!

SMT V supports actual HDR rendering with an engine config tweak (I recommend getting the SMT V fix and following the guide on PCGamingWiki). What you are suggesting in this giide is not actually HDR rebdering, but stretching an SDR imagine into HDR, which is suboptimal
