Step 1:

Hold down the look button and face it to either your left or right.
For the best results place your cursor about 1/4 the distance from the edge of the screen in the opposite of the direction you want to look, then face towards the direction you want to move.

Step 2:

Then, hold down the sprint key.

Step 3:

Finally, treat the strafe and forward and backward keys as if they have swapped. For example using E as if it is W, Q as if it is S, and vice versa.
