1. Waiting in Style – The “Zen Master Approach”

Take a deep breath. Remember, every second you wait makes Grinding Gear Games work harder.

Stare smugly at the “Login Failed” screen as if you’ve won. The servers need you more than you need them.

2. The Steam Backlog Adventure

Open your Steam library. Yes, those hundreds of unplayed games you’ve hoarded during every sale are your new best friends.

Play a few and discover why they remained untouched. Spoiler: Because Path of Exile exists.

3. Troll the Steam Community

Join other sufferers in chat and start a thread like, “I’m Level 100 in the Login Screen, AMA (Ask Me Anything)”.

Host a game of “Path of Patience” to see who can resist clicking the login button the longest. The winner gets a virtual Tabula Rasa drop.

4. DIY Path of Exile

Turn your desk into the "Atlas of Worlds." Arrange papers, place desk items as bosses, and navigate your paperclip (character) without knocking over chaos orbs (coffee mugs).

Bonus points for dramatic defeats against the ultimate boss: Your 2023 tax return.

5. Real-Life Multiplayer

Invite friends over. No internet? No problem. Play “Escape Room: Your Fridge” and figure out what to cook without stepping into a grocery store.

Alternatively, switch to family co-op. The mission: “Put the kids to bed without losing HP.”

6. Become a Community Legend

Record a “Waiting for the Servers” TikTok clip. Chances are, others will join in and share their tales of despair. You might go viral (in a cool way, not like a plague).

7. The Golden Rule: Practice Patience

If all else fails, comfort yourself with this thought: Grinding Gear Games is working hard to make the game playable tomorrow. Or maybe sometime before Path of Exile 3. Hopefully.
